2 Samuel 11 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 Now in the spring, at the time when kings go out to war, David sent Joab and his servants and all Israel with him; and they made waste the land of the children of Ammon, and took up their position before Rabbah, shutting it in. But David was still at Jerusalem.പിറ്റെ ആണ്ടിൽ രാജാക്കന്മാർ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുംകാലം ദാവീദ് യോവാബിനെയും അവനോടുകൂടെ തന്റെ ചേവകരെയും എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിനെയും അയച്ചു; അവർ അമ്മോന്യദേശം ശൂന്യമാക്കി രബ്ബാപട്ടണം നിരോധിച്ചു. ദാവീദോ യെരൂശലേമിൽ തന്നെ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു.

2 Now one evening, David got up from his bed, and while he was walking on the roof of the king's house, he saw from there a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful.ഒരുനാൾ സന്ധ്യയാകാറായ സമയത്തു ദാവീദ് മെത്തയിൽ നിന്നു എഴുന്നേറ്റു രാജധാനിയുടെ മാളികമേൽ ഉലാവിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒരു സ്ത്രീ കുളിക്കുന്നതു മാളികയിൽ നിന്നു കണ്ടു; ആ സ്ത്രീ അതിസുന്ദരി ആയിരുന്നു.

3 And David sent to get knowledge who the woman was. And one said, Is this not Bath-sheba, the daughter of Eliam and wife of Uriah the Hittite?ദാവീദ് ആളയച്ചു ആ സ്ത്രീയെപ്പറ്റി അന്വേഷിപ്പിച്ചു. അവൾ എലീയാമിന്റെ മകളും ഹിത്യനായ ഊരിയാവിന്റെ ഭാര്യയുമായ ബത്ത്-ശേബ എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞു.

4 And David sent and took her; and she came to him, and he took her to his bed: (for she had been made clean;) then she went back to her house.ദാവീദ് ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചു അവളെ വരുത്തി; അവൾ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു; അവൾക്കു ഋതുശുദ്ധി വന്നിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അവളോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു; അവൾ തന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

5 And the woman became with child; and she sent word to David that she was with child.ആ സ്ത്രീ ഗർഭം ധരിച്ചു, താൻ ഗർഭിണി ആയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ദാവീദിന്നു വർത്തമാനം അയച്ചു.

6 And David sent to Joab saying, Send Uriah the Hittite to me. And Joab sent Uriah to David.അപ്പോൾ ദാവീദ് ഹിത്യനായ ഊരീയാവെ തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയപ്പാൻ യോവാബിന്നു കല്പന അയച്ചു.

7 And when Uriah came to him, David put questions to him about how Joab and the people were, and how the war was going.ഊരീയാവു തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നപ്പോൾ ദാവീദ് അവനോടു യോവാബിന്റെയും പടജ്ജനത്തിന്റെയും സുഖവർത്തമാനവും യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ വസ്തുതയും ചോദിച്ചു.

8 And David said to Uriah, Go down to your house and let your feet be washed. And Uriah went away from the king's house, and an offering from the king was sent after him.പിന്നെ ദാവീദ് ഊരിയാവോടു: നീ വീട്ടിൽ ചെന്നു കാലുകളെ കഴുകുക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഊരീയാവു രാജധാനിയിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ രാജാവിന്റെ സമ്മാനം അവന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു.

9 But Uriah took his rest at the door of the king's house, with all the servants of his lord, and did not go down to his house.ഊരീയാവോ തന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ പോകാതെ യജമാനന്റെ സകലഭൃത്യന്മാരോടുംകൂടെ രാജധാനിയുടെ വാതിൽക്കൽ കിടന്നുറിങ്ങി.

10 And when word was given to David that Uriah had not gone down to his house, David said to Uriah, Have you not come from a journey? why did you not go down to your house?ഊരീയാവു വീട്ടിൽ പോയില്ല എന്നറിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ദാവീദ് ഊരീയാവിനോടു: നീ യാത്രയിൽനിന്നു വന്നവനല്ലയോ? നിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ പോകാതെ ഇരുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

11 And Uriah said to David, Israel and Judah with the ark are living in tents, and my lord Joab and the other servants of my lord are sleeping in the open field; and am I to go to my house and take food and drink, and go to bed with my wife? By the living Lord, and by the life of your soul, I will not do such a thing.ഊരീയാവു ദാവീദിനോടു: പെട്ടകവും യിസ്രായേലും യെഹൂദയും കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ യജമാനനായ യോവാബും യജമാനന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരും വെളിൻ പ്രദേശത്തു പാളയമിറങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങനെയിരിക്കെ ഞാൻ ഭക്ഷിപ്പാനും കുടിപ്പാനും എന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ ശയിപ്പാനും എന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ കടക്കുമോ? നിന്നാണ, നിന്റെ ജിവനാണ, അതു ഞാൻ ചെയ്കയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

12 And David said to Uriah, Be here today, and after that I will let you go. So Uriah was in Jerusalem that day and the day after.അപ്പോൾ ദാവീദ് ഊരീയാവിനോടു: നീ ഇന്നും ഇവിടെ താമസിക്ക; നാളെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ പറഞ്ഞയക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ ഊരിയാവു അന്നും യെരൂശലേമിൽ താമസിച്ചു.

13 And when David sent for him, he took meat and drink with him, and David made him the worse for drink: and when evening came, he went to rest on his bed with the servants of his lord, but he did not go down to his house.പിറ്റെന്നാൾ ദാവീദ് അവനെ വിളിച്ചു; അവൻ അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ഭക്ഷിച്ചു പാനം ചെയ്തു; അവൻ അവനെ ലഹരിപിടിപ്പിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും അവൻ വീട്ടിലേക്കു പോകാതെ സന്ധ്യെക്കു ചെന്നു യജമാനന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരോടുകൂടെ തന്റെ വിരിപ്പിൽ കിടന്നു.

14 Now in the morning, David gave Uriah a letter to take to Joab.രാവിലെ ദാവീദ് യോവാബിന്നു ഒരു എഴുത്തു എഴുതി ഊരീയാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ കൊടുത്തയച്ചു.

15 And in the letter he said, Take care to put Uriah in the very front of the line, where the fighting is most violent, and go back from him, so that he may be overcome and put to death.എഴുത്തിൽ: പട കഠിനമായിരിക്കുന്നേടത്തു ഊരീയാവെ മുന്നണിയിൽ നിർത്തി അവൻ വെട്ടുകൊണ്ടു മരിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവനെ വിട്ടു പിൻമാറുവിൻ എന്നു എഴുതിയിരുന്നു.

16 So while Joab was watching the town, he put Uriah in the place where it was clear to him the best fighters were.അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ യോവാബ് ആ പട്ടണത്തെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കീട്ടു ശൂരന്മാർ നില്ക്കുന്നതായി കണ്ട സ്ഥലത്തു ഊരീയാവെ നിർത്തി.

17 And the men of the town went out and had a fight with Joab: and a number of David's men came to their death in the fight, and with them Uriah the Hittite.പട്ടണക്കാർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു യോവാബിനോടു പട വെട്ടിയപ്പോൾ ദാവീദിന്റെ ചേവകരായ പടജ്ജനത്തിൽ ചിലർ പട്ടുപോയി; ഹിത്യനായ ഊരിയാവും മരിച്ചു.

18 Then Joab sent David news of everything which had taken place in the war:പിന്നെ യോവാബ് ആ യുദ്ധവർത്തമാനം ഒക്കെയും ദാവീദിനോടു അറിയിപ്പാൻ ആളയച്ചു.

19 And he gave orders to the man who took the news, saying, After you have given the king all the news about the war,അവൻ ദൂതനോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: നീ യുദ്ധവർത്തമാനം ഒക്കെയും രാജാവിനോടു പറഞ്ഞു തീരുമ്പോൾ രാജാവിന്റെ കോപം ജ്വലിച്ചു:

20 If the king is angry and says, Why did you go so near the town for the fight? was it not certain that their archers would be on the wall?നിങ്ങൾ പട്ടണത്തോടു ഇത്ര അടുത്തുചെന്നു പടവെട്ടിയതു എന്തു? മതിലിന്മേൽ നിന്നു അവർ എയ്യുമെന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടയോ?

21 Who put Abimelech, the son of Jerubbaal, to death? did not a woman send a great stone down on him from the wall, putting him to death at Thebez? why did you go so near the wall? Then say to him, Your servant Uriah the Hittite is among the dead.യെരൂബ്ബേശെത്തിന്റെ മകനായ അബീമേലെക്കിനെ കൊന്നതു ആർ? ഒരു സ്ത്രീ മതിലിന്മേൽനിന്നു തിരിക്കല്ലിൽപിള്ള അവന്റെ മേൽ ഇട്ടതുകൊണ്ടല്ലേയോ അവൻ തേബെസിൽവെച്ചു മരിച്ചതു? നിങ്ങൾ മതിലിനോടു ഇത്ര അടുത്തുചെന്നതു എന്തു എന്നിങ്ങനെ നിന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞാൽ: നിന്റെ ഭൃത്യൻ ഹിത്യനായ ഊരീയാവും മരിച്ചുപോയി എന്നു പറക.

22 So the man went, and came to David, and gave him all the news which Joab had sent him to give; then David was angry with Joab and said, Why did you go so near the town for the fight? was it not certain that their archers would be on the wall? who put Abimelech, the son of Jerubbaal, to death? did not a woman send a great stone down on him from the wall, putting him to death at Thebez? why did you go so near the wall?ദൂതൻ ചെന്നു യോവാബ് പറഞ്ഞയച്ച വർത്തമാനമൊക്കെയും ദാവീദിനെ അറിയിച്ചു.

23 And the man said to David, Truly the men got the better of us, and came out against us into the open country, but we sent them back to the very doors of the town.ദൂതൻ ദാവീദിനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ആ കൂട്ടർ പ്രാബല്യം പ്രാപിച്ചു വെളിൻ പ്രദേശത്തേക്കു ഞങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു വന്നതിനാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ പട്ടണവാതിൽക്കലോളം അവരെ പിന്തുടർന്നടുത്തുപോയി.

24 And the archers sent their arrows at your servants from the wall, and some of the king's servants are dead, and among them is your servant Uriah the Hittite.അപ്പോൾ വില്ലാളികൾ മതിലിന്മേൽനിന്നു നിന്റെ ചേവകരെ എയ്തു, രാജാവിന്റെ ചേവകരിൽ ചിലർ പട്ടുപോയി, നിന്റെ ഭൃത്യൻ ഹിത്യനായ ഊരീയാവും മരിച്ചു.

25 Then David said to the man, Go and say to Joab, Do not let this be a grief to you; for one man may come to his death by the sword like another: put up an even stronger fight against the town, and take it: and do you put heart into him.അതിന്നു ദാവീദ് ദൂതനോടു: ഈ കാര്യത്തിൽ വ്യസനം തോന്നരുതു; വാൾ അങ്ങും ഇങ്ങും നാശം ചെയ്യും; പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ശക്തിയോടെ പൊരുതു അതിനെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു കളക എന്നു നീ യോവാബിനോടു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ ധൈര്യപ്പെടുത്തേണം എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

26 And when the wife of Uriah had news that her husband was dead, she gave herself up to weeping for him.ഊരീയാവിന്റെ ഭാര്യ തന്റെ ഭർത്താവായ ഊരീയാവു മരിച്ചുപോയി എന്നു കേട്ടപ്പോൾ ഭർത്താവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിച്ചു.

27 And when the days of weeping were past, David sent for her, and took her into his house, and she became his wife and gave him a son. But the Lord was not pleased with the thing David had done.വിലാപകാലം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം ദാവീദ് ആളയച്ചു അവളെ അരമനയിൽ വരുത്തി; അവൾ അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയായി, അവന്നു ഒരു മകനെ പ്രസവിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ദാവീദ് ചെയ്തതു യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായിരുന്നു.
