എന്നാൽ അമസ്യാവു യെഹൂദയെ കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി; എല്ലായെഹൂദയും ബെന്യാമീനുമായ അവരെ സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാർക്കും ശതാധിപന്മാർക്കും കീഴെ പിതൃഭവനം പിതൃഭവനമായി നിർത്തി. ഇരുപതു വയസ്സുമുതൽ മേലോട്ടുള്ളവരെ എണ്ണി, കുന്തവും പരിചയും എടുപ്പാൻ പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള ശ്രേഷ്ഠയോദ്ധാക്കൾ മൂന്നു ലക്ഷം എന്നു കണ്ടു.

and made	וַיַּֽעֲמִידֵ֣ם	ʿāmad	ah-MAHD
according to the houses	לְבֵית	bayit	ba-YEET
of fathers,	אָב֗וֹת	ʾāb	av
them captains	לְשָׂרֵ֤י	śar	sahr
over thousands,	הָֽאֲלָפִים֙	ʾelep	eh-LEF
and captains	וּלְשָׂרֵ֣י	śar	sahr
over hundreds,	הַמֵּא֔וֹת	mēʾâ	may-AH
throughout all	לְכָל	kōl	kole
Judah	יְהוּדָ֖ה	yĕhûdâ	yeh-hoo-DA
and Benjamin:	וּבִנְיָמִ֑ן	binyāmîn	been-ya-MEEN
and he numbered	וַֽיִּפְקְדֵ֗ם	pāqad	pa-KAHD
old	לְמִבֶּ֨ן	bēn	bane
them from twenty	עֶשְׂרִ֤ים	ʿeśrîm	es-REEM
years	שָׁנָה֙	šāne	sha-NEH
and above,	וָמַ֔עְלָה	maʿal	ma-AL
and found	וַיִּמְצָאֵ֗ם	māṣāʾ	ma-TSA
them three	שְׁלֹשׁ	šālôš	sha-LOHSH
hundred	מֵא֨וֹת	mēʾâ	may-AH
thousand	אֶ֤לֶף	ʾelep	eh-LEF
choice	בָּחוּר֙	bāḥar	ba-HAHR
to go forth	יוֹצֵ֣א	yāṣāʾ	ya-TSA
to war,	צָבָ֔א	ṣābāʾ	tsa-VA
that could handle	אֹחֵ֖ז	ʾāḥaz	ah-HAHZ
spear	רֹ֥מַח	rōmaḥ	roh-MAHK
and shield.	וְצִנָּֽה׃	ṣinnâ	tsee-NA
