2 Chronicles 21 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 And Jehoshaphat went to rest with his fathers, and his body was put into the earth in the town of David. And Jehoram his son became king in his place.യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചു ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിൽ അവന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടുകൂടെ അവനെ അടക്കംചെയ്തു; അവന്റെ മകനായ യെഹോരാം അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.

2 And he had brothers, sons of Jehoshaphat, Azariah, Jehiel, Zechariah, Azariah, Michael, and Shephatiah; all these were sons of Jehoshaphat, king of Israel.അവന്നു യെഹോശാഫാത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായി അസർയ്യാവു, യെഹീയേൽ, സെഖർയ്യാവു, അസർയ്യാവു, മീഖായേൽ, ശെഫത്യാവു എന്നീ സഹോദരന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ഇവരെല്ലാവരും യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹോശാഫാത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.

3 And their father gave them much silver and gold and things of great value, as well as walled towns in Judah; but the kingdom he gave to Jehoram, because he was the oldest.അവരുടെ അപ്പൻ അവർക്കു വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും വിശേഷ വസ്തുക്കളുമായ വലിയ ദാനങ്ങളും യെഹൂദയിൽ ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളും കൊടുത്തു; എന്നാൽ യെഹോരാം ആദ്യജാതനായിരിക്കയാൽ രാജത്വം അവന്നു കൊടുത്തു.

4 Now when Jehoram had taken his place over his father's kingdom, and had made his position safe, he put all his brothers to death with the sword, as well as some of the princes of Israel.യെഹോരാം തന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ രാജത്വം ഏറ്റു തന്നേത്താൽ ബലപ്പെടുത്തിയശേഷം തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും യിസ്രായേൽപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരിൽ പലരെയും വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊന്നു.

5 Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king; and he was ruling in Jerusalem for eight years.യെഹോരാം വാഴ്ചതുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവന്നു മുപ്പത്തിരണ്ടു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവൻ എട്ടു സംവത്സരം യെരൂശലേമിൽ വാണു.

6 He went in the ways of the kings of Israel, and did as the family of Ahab did, for the daughter of Ahab was his wife; and he did evil in the eyes of the Lord.ആഹാബ്ഗൃഹം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവൻ യിസ്രായേൽരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വഴിയിൽ നടന്നു; ആഹാബിന്റെ മകൾ അവന്നു ഭാര്യയായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ; അവൻ യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു.

7 But it was not the Lord's purpose to send destruction on the family of David, because of the agreement he had made with David, when he said he would give to him and to his sons a light for ever.എന്നാൽ യഹോവ ദാവീദിനോടു ചെയ്തിരുന്ന നിയമംനിമിത്തവും അവന്നും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കും ഒരു ദീപം എല്ലായ്പോഴും കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കനിമിത്തവും ദാവീദ്ഗൃഹത്തെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ അവന്നു മനസ്സില്ലായിരുന്നു.

8 In his time Edom made themselves free from the rule of Judah, and took a king for themselves.അവന്റെ കാലത്തു എദോം യെഹൂദയുടെ മേലധികാരത്തോടു മത്സരിച്ചു തങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു രാജാവിനെ വാഴിച്ചു.

9 Then Jehoram went over with his captains and all his war-carriages ... made an attack by night on the Edomites, whose forces were all round him ... on the captains of the war-carriages.യെഹോരാം തന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും സകലരഥങ്ങളോടുംകൂടെ ചെന്നു രാത്രിയിൽ എഴുന്നേറ്റു തന്നെ വളഞ്ഞിരുന്ന എദോമ്യരെയും തേരാളികളെയും തോല്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

10 So Edom made themselves free from the rule of Judah, to this day: and at the same time Libnah made itself free from his rule; because he was turned away from the Lord, the God of his fathers.എന്നാൽ എദോം ഇന്നുവരെ യെഹൂദയുടെ മേലധികാരത്തോടു മത്സരിച്ചുനില്ക്കുന്നു; അവൻ തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ആ കാലത്തു തന്നേ ലിബ്നയും അവന്റെ മേലധികാരത്തോടു മത്സരിച്ചു.

11 And more than this, he made high places in the mountains of Judah, teaching the people of Jerusalem to go after false gods, and guiding Judah away from the true way.അവൻ യെഹൂദാപർവ്വതങ്ങളിൽ പൂജാഗിരികളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി; യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളെ പരസംഗം ചെയ്യുമാറാക്കി, യെഹൂദയെ തെറ്റിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

12 And a letter came to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, The Lord, the God of your father David, says, Because you have not kept to the ways of your father Jehoshaphat or the ways of Asa, king of Judah,അവന്നു എലീയാപ്രവാചകന്റെ പക്കൽനിന്നു ഒരു എഴുത്തു വന്നതെന്തെന്നാൽ: നിന്റെ പിതാവായ ദാവീദിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ നിന്റെ അപ്പനായ യെഹോശാഫാത്തിന്റെ വഴികളിലും യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ ആസയുടെ വഴികളിലും നടക്കാതെ

13 But have gone in the way of the kings of Israel, and have made Judah and the people of Jerusalem go after false gods, as the family of Ahab did: and because you have put to death your father's sons, your brothers, who were better than yourself:യിസ്രായേൽരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വഴിയിൽ നടക്കയും ആഹാബ്ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ പരസംഗംപോലെ യെഹൂദയെയും യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളെയും പരസംഗം ചെയ്യുമാറാക്കുകയും നിന്നെക്കാൾ നല്ലവരായ നിന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിലുള്ള നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്കകൊണ്ടു

14 Now, truly, the Lord will send a great destruction on your people and your children and your wives and everything which is yours:യഹോവ നിന്റെ ജനത്തെയും നിന്റെ മക്കളെയും നിന്റെ ഭാര്യമാരെയും നിന്റെ സകലവസ്തുവകകളെയും മഹാബാധകൊണ്ടു ബാധിക്കും.

15 And you yourself will undergo the cruel pains of a disease in your stomach, so that day by day your inside will be falling out because of the disease.നിനക്കോ ദീനത്താൽ നിന്റെ കുടൽ കാലക്രമേണ പുറത്തു ചാടുംവരെ കുടലിൽ വ്യാധിപിടിച്ചു കഠിനദീനമുണ്ടാകും.

16 Then the Philistines and the Arabians, who are by Ethiopia, were moved by the Lord to make war on Jehoram;യഹോവ ഫെലിസ്ത്യരുടെയും കൂശ്യരുടെയും സമീപത്തുള്ള അരബികളുടെയും മനസ്സു യെഹോരാമിന്റെ നേരെ ഉണർത്തി;

17 And they came up against Judah, forcing a way into it, and took away all the goods in the king's house, as well as his sons and his wives; so that he had no son but only Jehoahaz, the youngest.അവർ യെഹൂദയിലേക്കു വന്നു അതിനെ ആക്രമിച്ചു രാജധാനിയിൽ കണ്ട സകലവസ്തുവകകളെയും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യമാരെയും അപഹരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ ഇളയമകനായ യെഹോവാഹാസല്ലാതെ ഒരു മകനും അവന്നു ശേഷിച്ചില്ല.

18 And after all this the Lord sent on him a disease of the stomach from which it was impossible for him to be made well.ഇതെല്ലാം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം യഹോവ അവനെ കുടലിൽ പൊറുക്കാത്ത വ്യാധികൊണ്ടു ബാധിച്ചു.

19 And time went on, and after two years, his inside falling out because of the disease, he came to his death in cruel pain. And his people made no burning for him like the burning made for his fathers.കാലക്രമേണ രണ്ടു സംവത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ദീനത്താൽ അവന്റെ കുടൽ പുറത്തുചാടി അവൻ കഠിനവ്യാധിയാൽ മരിച്ചു; അവന്റെ ജനം അവന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കു കഴിച്ച ദഹനംപോലെ അവന്നു വേണ്ടി ദഹനം കഴിച്ചില്ല.

20 He was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he was ruling in Jerusalem for eight years: and at his death he was not regretted; they put his body into the earth in the town of David, but not in the resting-place of the kings.അവൻ വാഴ്ചതുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവന്നു മുപ്പത്തിരണ്ടു വയസ്സാന്നയിരുന്നു; അവൻ എട്ടു സംവത്സരം യെരൂശലേമിൽ വാണു ആർക്കും ഇഷ്ടനാകാതെ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയി; അവനെ ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിൽ അടക്കംചെയ്തു, രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ കല്ലറകളിൽ അല്ലതാനും.
