1 Samuel 21 - YLT (Malayalam)

1 And David cometh in to Nob, unto Ahimelech the priest, and Ahimelech trembleth at meeting David, and saith to him, `Wherefore `art' thou thyself alone, and no man with thee?'ദാവീദ് നോബിൽ പുരോഹിതനായ അഹീമേലെക്കിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; അഹീമേലെക്ക് ദാവീദിനെ സംഭ്രമത്തോടെ എതിരേറ്റു അവനോടു: ആരും കൂടെ ഇല്ലാതെ തനിച്ചുവരുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

2 And David saith to Ahimelech the priest, `The king hath commanded me a matter, and he saith unto me, Let no man know anything of the matter about which I am sending thee, and which I have commanded thee; and the young men I have caused to know at such and such a place;ദാവീദ് പുരോഹിതനായ അഹീമേലെക്കിനോടു: രാജാവു എന്നെ ഒരു കാര്യം ഏല്പിച്ചു: ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അയക്കുന്നതും നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതുമായ കാര്യം ഒന്നും ആരും അറിയരുതു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്റെ ബാല്യക്കാർ ഇന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു വരേണമെന്നു ഞാൻ ചട്ടം കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

3 and now, what is there under thy hand? five loaves give into my hand, or that which is found.'ആകയാൽ നിന്റെ കൈവശം വല്ലതും ഉണ്ടോ? ഒരഞ്ചപ്പം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ തൽക്കാലം കൈവശമുള്ളതെന്തെങ്കിലും എനിക്കു തരേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

4 And the priest answereth David, and saith, `There is no common bread under my hand, but there is holy bread; if the youths have been kept only from women.'അതിന്നു പുരോഹിതൻ ദാവീദിനോടു: വിശുദ്ധമായ അപ്പം അല്ലാതെ സാമാന്യമായതു കൈവശം ഇല്ല; ബാല്യക്കാർ സ്ത്രീകളോടു അകന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ തരാമെന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

5 And David answereth the priest, and saith to him, `Surely, if women have been restrained from us as heretofore in my going out, then the vessels of the young men are holy, and it `is' a common way: and also, surely to-day it is sanctified in the vessel.'ദാവീദ് പുരോഹിതനോടു: ഈ മൂന്നു ദിവസമായി സ്ത്രീകൾ ഞങ്ങളോടു അകന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇതു ഒരു സാമാന്യയാത്ര എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ പുറപ്പെടുമ്പേൾ തന്നേ ബാല്യക്കാരുടെ യാത്രക്കോപ്പുകൾ ശുദ്ധമായിരുന്നു; ഇന്നോ അവരുടെ കോപ്പുകൾ എത്ര അധികം ശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

6 And the priest giveth to him the holy thing, for there was no bread there except the bread of the Presence which is turned aside from the presence of Jehovah to put hot bread in the day of its being taken away.അങ്ങനെ പുരോഹിതൻ അവന്നു വിശുദ്ധമായ അപ്പം കൊടുത്തു; അപ്പം മാറ്റുന്ന ദിവസം ചൂടുള്ള അപ്പം വെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നിന്നു നീക്കിയ കാഴ്ചയപ്പം അല്ലാതെ അവിടെ വേറെ അപ്പം ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു.

7 And there `is' a man of the servants of Saul on that day detained before Jehovah, and his name `is' Doeg the Edomite, chief of the shepherds whom Saul hath.എന്നാൽ അന്നു ശൌലിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരിൽ ദോവേഗ് എന്നു പേരുള്ള ഒരു എദോമ്യനെ അവിടെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ അടെച്ചിട്ടിരുന്നു; അവൻ ശൌലിന്റെ ഇടയന്മാർക്കു പ്രമാണി ആയിരുന്നു.

8 And David saith to Ahimelech, `And is there not here under thy hand spear or sword? for neither my sword nor my vessels have I taken in my hand, for the matter of the king was urgent.'ദാവീദ് അഹീമേലെക്കിനോടു: ഇവിടെ നിന്റെ കൈവശം കുന്തമോ വാളോ ഉണ്ടോ? രാജാവിന്റെ കാര്യം തിടുക്കമായിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ എന്റെ വാളും ആയുധങ്ങളും കൊണ്ടുപോന്നില്ല, എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

9 And the priest saith, `The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou didst smite in the valley of Elah, lo, it is wrapt in a garment behind the ephod, if it thou dost take to thyself, take; for there is none other save it in this `place'.' And David saith, `There is none like it -- give it to me.'അപ്പോൾ പുരോഹിതൻ: ഏലാ താഴ്വരയിൽവെച്ചു നീ കൊന്ന ഫെലിസ്ത്യനായ ഗൊല്യാത്തിന്റെ വാൾ ഏഫോദിന്റെ പുറകിൽ ഒരു ശീലയിൽ പൊതിഞ്ഞു വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു വേണമെങ്കിൽ എടുത്തുകൊൾക; അതല്ലാതെ വേറെ ഒന്നുമില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അതിന്നു തുല്യം മറ്റൊന്നുമില്ല; അതു എനിക്കു തരേണം എന്നു ദാവീദ് പറഞ്ഞു.

10 And David riseth and fleeth on that day from the face of Saul, and cometh in unto Achish king of Gath;പിന്നെ ദാവീദ് പുറപ്പെട്ടു അന്നു തന്നേ ശൌലിന്റെ നിമിത്തം ഗത്ത്‌രാജാവായ ആഖീശിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഓടിച്ചെന്നു.

11 and the servants of Achish say unto him, `Is not this David king of the land? is it not of this one they sing in dances, saying, `Saul smote among his thousands, and David among his myriads?'എന്നാൽ ആഖീശിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാർ അവനോടു: ഇവൻ ദേശത്തിലെ രാജാവായ ദാവീദ് അല്ലയോ? ശൌൽ ആയിരത്തെ കൊന്നു ദാവീദോ പതിനായിരത്തെ എന്നു അവർ നൃത്തങ്ങളിൽ ഗാനപ്രതിഗാനം ചെയ്തതു ഇവനെക്കുറിച്ചല്ലയോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

12 And David layeth these words in his heart, and is exceedingly afraid of the face of Achish king of Gath,ദാവീദ് ഈ വാക്കുകളെ മനസ്സിലാക്കീട്ടു ഗത്ത് രാജാവായ ആഖീശിനെ ഏറ്റവും ഭയപ്പെട്ടു.

13 and changeth his behaviour before their eyes, and feigneth himself mad in their hand, and scribbleth on the doors of the gate, and letteth down his spittle unto his beard.അവരുടെ മുമ്പാകെ തന്റെ പ്രകൃതി മാറ്റി, അവരുടെ കൈകളിൽ ഇരിക്കെ ബുദ്ധിഭ്രമം നടിച്ചു വാതിലിന്റെ കതകുകളിൽ വരെച്ചു താടിമേൽ തുപ്പൽ ഒലിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

14 And Achish saith unto his servants, `Lo, ye see a man acting as a madman; why do ye bring him in unto me?ആഖീശ് തന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരോടു: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ ഭ്രാന്തൻ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നില്ലയോ? അവനെ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നതു എന്തിന്നു?

15 A lack of madmen `have' I, that ye have brought in this one to act as a madman by me! doth this one come in unto my house?'എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ഭ്രാന്തു കളിപ്പാൻ ഇവനെ കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതിന്നു എനിക്കു ഇവിടെ ഭ്രാന്തന്മാർ കുറവുണ്ടോ? എന്റെ അരമനയിലോ ഇവൻ വരേണ്ടതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
