അവളുടെ ഭർത്താവായ എൽക്കാനാ അവളോടു: ഹന്നേ, നീ എന്തിന്നു കരയുന്നു? എന്തിന്നു പട്ടിണികിടക്കുന്നു? നീ വ്യസനിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? ഞാൻ നിനക്കു പത്തു പുത്രന്മാരെക്കാൾ നന്നല്ലയോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
