1 Peter 4 - DBY (Malayalam)

1 Christ, then, having suffered for us in [the] flesh, do *ye* also arm yourselves with the same mind; for he that has suffered in [the] flesh has done with sin,ക്രിസ്തു ജഡത്തിൽ കഷ്ടമനുഭവിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളും ആ ഭാവം തന്നേ ആയുധമായി ധരിപ്പിൻ.

2 no longer to live the rest of [his] time in [the] flesh to men's lusts, but to God's will.ജഡത്തിൽ കഷ്ടമനുഭവിച്ചവൻ ജഡത്തിൽ ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുംകാലം ഇനി മനുഷ്യരുടെ മോഹങ്ങൾക്കല്ല, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടത്തിന്നത്രേ ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു പാപം വിട്ടൊഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

3 For the time past [is] sufficient [for us] to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, walking in lasciviousness, lusts, wine-drinking, revels, drinkings, and unhallowed idolatries.കാമാർത്തികളിലും മോഹങ്ങളിലും വീഞ്ഞുകുടിയിലും വെറിക്കൂത്തുകളിലും മദ്യപാനത്തിലും ധർമ്മവിരുദ്ധമായ വിഗ്രഹാരാധനയിലും നടന്നു ജാതികളുടെ ഇഷ്ടം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു കാലം പോക്കിയതു മതി.

4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with [them] to the same sink of corruption, speaking injuriously [of you];ദുർന്നടപ്പിന്റെ അതേ കവിച്ചലിൽ നിങ്ങൾ അവരോടു ചേർന്നു നടക്കാതിരിക്കുന്നതു അപൂർവ്വം എന്നുവെച്ചു അവർ ദുഷിക്കുന്നു.

5 who shall render account to him who is ready to judge [the] living and [the] dead.ജീവികളെയും മരിച്ചവരെയും ന്യായം വിധിപ്പാൻ ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നവന്നു അവർ കണക്കു ബോധിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടിവരും.

6 For to this [end] were the glad tidings preached to [the] dead also, that they might be judged, as regards men, after [the] flesh, but live, as regards God, after [the] Spirit.ഇതിന്നായിട്ടല്ലോ മരിച്ചവരോടും സുവിശേഷം അറിയിച്ചതു. അവർ ജഡസംബന്ധമായി മനുഷ്യരെപ്പോലെ വിധിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ആത്മാവുസംബന്ധമായി ദൈവത്തിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം ജീവിക്കയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

7 But the end of all things is drawn nigh: be sober therefore, and be watchful unto prayers;എന്നാൽ എല്ലാറ്റിന്റെയും അവസാനം സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ആകയാൽ പ്രാർത്ഥനെക്കു സുബോധമുള്ളവരും നിർമ്മദരുമായിരിപ്പിൻ.

8 but before all things having fervent love among yourselves, because love covers a multitude of sins;സകലത്തിന്നും മുമ്പെ തമ്മിൽ ഉറ്റ സ്നേഹം ഉള്ളവരായിരിപ്പിൻ. സ്നേഹം പാപങ്ങളുടെ ബഹുത്വത്തെ മറെക്കുന്നു.

9 hospitable one to another, without murmuring;പിറുപിറുപ്പു കൂടാതെ തമ്മിൽ അതിഥിസൽക്കാരം ആചരിപ്പിൻ.

10 each according as he has received a gift, ministering it to one another, as good stewards of [the] various grace of God.ഓരോരുത്തന്നു വരം ലഭിച്ചതുപോലെ വിവിധമായുള്ള ദൈവകൃപയുടെ നല്ല ഗൃഹവിചാരകന്മാരായി അതിനെക്കൊണ്ടു അന്യോന്യം ശുശ്രൂഷിപ്പിൻ.

11 If any one speak -- as oracles of God; if any one minister -- as of strength which God supplies; that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the might for the ages of ages. Amen.ഒരുത്തൻ പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു എന്നപോലെയും ഒരുത്തൻ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ദൈവം നല്കുന്ന പ്രാപ്തിക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണവും ആകട്ടെ. എല്ലാറ്റിലും ദൈവം യേശുക്രിസ്തുമൂലം മഹത്വപ്പെടുവാൻ ഇടവരട്ടെ. മഹത്വവും ബലവും എന്നെന്നേക്കും അവന്നുള്ളതു. ആമേൻ.

12 Beloved, take not [as] strange the fire [of persecution] which has taken place amongst you for [your] trial, as if a strange thing was happening to you;പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ, നിങ്ങൾക്കു പരീക്ഷക്കായി സംഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിശോധനയിങ്കൽ ഒരു അപൂർവ്വകാര്യം നിങ്ങൾക്കു വന്നുകൂടി എന്നു വച്ചു അതിശയിച്ചുപോകരുതു.

13 but as ye have share in the sufferings of Christ, rejoice, that in the revelation of his glory also ye may rejoice with exultation.ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ കഷ്ടങ്ങൾക്കു പങ്കുള്ളവരാകുന്തോറും സന്തോഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ. അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ തേജസ്സിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതയിൽ ഉല്ലസിച്ചാനന്ദിപ്പാൻ ഇടവരും.

14 If ye are reproached in [the] name of Christ, blessed [are ye]; for the [Spirit] of glory and the Spirit of God rests upon you: [on their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.]ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാമം ഹേതുവായി നിന്ദ സഹിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാർ; മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവായ ദൈവാത്മാവു നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ ആവസിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

15 Let none of you suffer indeed as murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or as overseer of other people's matters;നിങ്ങളിൽ ആരും കുലപാതകനോ കള്ളനോ ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരനോ ആയിട്ടല്ല കഷ്ടം സഹിക്കേണ്ടതു; പരകാര്യത്തിൽ ഇടപെടുന്നവനായിട്ടുമല്ല;

16 but if as a christian, let him not be ashamed, but glorify God in this name.ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിയായിട്ടു കഷ്ടം സഹക്കേണ്ടിവന്നാലോ ലജ്ജിക്കരുതു; ഈ നാമം ധരിച്ചിട്ടു ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തുകയത്രേ വേണ്ടതു.

17 For the time of having the judgment begin from the house of God [is come]; but if first from us, what [shall be] the end of those who obey not the glad tidings of God?ന്യായവിധി ദൈവഗൃഹത്തിൽ ആരംഭിപ്പാൻ സമയമായല്ലോ. അതു നമ്മിൽ തുടങ്ങിയാൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം അനുസരിക്കാത്തവരുടെ അവസാനം എന്താകും?

18 And if the righteous is difficultly saved, where shall the impious and [the] sinner appear?നീതിമാൻ പ്രയാസേന രക്ഷപ്രാപിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അഭക്തന്റെയും പാപിയുടെയും ഗതി എന്താകും?

19 Wherefore also let them who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing to a faithful Creator.അതുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവേഷ്ടപ്രകാരം കഷ്ടം സഹിക്കുന്നവർ നന്മ ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടു തങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാണനെ വിശ്വസ്തനായ സ്രഷ്ടാവിങ്കൽ ഭരമേല്പിക്കട്ടെ.
