1 John 1
5 ദൈവം വെളിച്ചം ആകുന്നു; അവനിൽ ഇരുട്ടു ഒട്ടും ഇല്ല എന്നുള്ളതു ഞങ്ങൾ അവനോടു കേട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയിക്കുന്ന ദൂതാകുന്നു.
6 അവനോടു കൂട്ടായ്മ ഉണ്ടു എന്നു പറകയും ഇരുട്ടിൽ നടക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ നാം ഭോഷ്കു പറയുന്നു; സത്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.
7 അവൻ വെളിച്ചത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നതു പോലെ നാം വെളിച്ചത്തിൽ നടക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ നമുക്കു തമ്മിൽ കൂട്ടായ്മ ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ പുത്രനായ യേശുവിന്റെ രക്തം സകല പാപവും പോക്കി നമ്മെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നു.
8 നമുക്കു പാപം ഇല്ല എന്നു നാം പറയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നമ്മെത്തന്നേ വഞ്ചിക്കുന്നു; സത്യം നമ്മിൽ ഇല്ലാതെയായി.
9 നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ ഏറ്റുപറയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവൻ നമ്മോടു പാപങ്ങളെ ക്ഷമിച്ചു സകല അനീതിയും പോക്കി നമ്മെ ശുദ്ധീകരിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം വിശ്വസ്തനും നീതിമാനും ആകുന്നു.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

6 അവനോടു കൂട്ടായ്മ ഉണ്ടു എന്നു പറകയും ഇരുട്ടിൽ നടക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ നാം ഭോഷ്കു പറയുന്നു; സത്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 അവൻ വെളിച്ചത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നതു പോലെ നാം വെളിച്ചത്തിൽ നടക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ നമുക്കു തമ്മിൽ കൂട്ടായ്മ ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ പുത്രനായ യേശുവിന്റെ രക്തം സകല പാപവും പോക്കി നമ്മെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നു.
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 നമുക്കു പാപം ഇല്ല എന്നു നാം പറയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നമ്മെത്തന്നേ വഞ്ചിക്കുന്നു; സത്യം നമ്മിൽ ഇല്ലാതെയായി.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ ഏറ്റുപറയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവൻ നമ്മോടു പാപങ്ങളെ ക്ഷമിച്ചു സകല അനീതിയും പോക്കി നമ്മെ ശുദ്ധീകരിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം വിശ്വസ്തനും നീതിമാനും ആകുന്നു.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
