அந்த அசுத்த ஆவி அவனை விட்டுப்போகும்படி இயேசு கட்டளையிட்டபடியினாலே அப்படிச் சொன்னான். அந்த அசுத்த ஆவி வெகுகாலமாய் அவனைப் பிடித்திருந்தது; அவன் சங்கிலிகளினாலும் விலங்குகளினாலும் கட்டுண்டு காவல்பண்ணப்பட்டிருந்தும் கட்டுகளை முறித்துப்போட்டுப் பிசாசினால் வனாந்தரங்களுக்குத் துரத்தப்பட்டிருந்தான்.
