Lamentations 2:10

சீயோன் குமாரத்தியின் மூப்பர்கள் தரையில் உட்கார்ந்து மெளனமாய் இருக்கிறார்கள்; தங்கள் தலைகளின்மேல் புழுதியைப் போட்டுக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; இரட்டு உடுத்தியிருக்கிறார்கள்; எருசலேமின் கன்னியர்கள் தலைகவிழ்ந்து தரையை நோக்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.

לָאָ֤רֶץ
The
young
שָׁכְב֨וּšokbûshoke-VOO
and
the
old
לָאָ֤רֶץlāʾāreṣla-AH-rets
lie
חוּצוֹת֙ḥûṣôthoo-TSOTE
on
the
ground
נַ֣עַרnaʿarNA-ar
in
the
streets:
וְזָקֵ֔ןwĕzāqēnveh-za-KANE
my
virgins
בְּתוּלֹתַ֥יbĕtûlōtaybeh-too-loh-TAI
and
my
young
men
וּבַחוּרַ֖יûbaḥûrayoo-va-hoo-RAI
are
fallen
נָפְל֣וּnoplûnofe-LOO
by
the
sword;
בֶחָ֑רֶבbeḥārebveh-HA-rev
thou
hast
slain
הָרַ֙גְתָּ֙hāragtāha-RAHɡ-TA
them
in
the
day
בְּי֣וֹםbĕyômbeh-YOME
of
thine
anger;
אַפֶּ֔ךָʾappekāah-PEH-ha
thou
hast
killed,
טָבַ֖חְתָּṭābaḥtāta-VAHK-ta
and
not
לֹ֥אlōʾloh
pitied.
חָמָֽלְתָּ׃ḥāmālĕttāha-MA-leh-ta
