Nehemiah 6:6
ಅದ ರಲ್ಲಿ--ನೀನೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೂ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬೀಳಲು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಆದಕಾರಣ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀ.

ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ನಾಲಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಲ್ಲಿನಂತೆ ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ಕೇಡಿನಿಂದ ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ನಾನು ಕದಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾಗಲುದ್ವಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದೆನೆಂದೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸಂದೂ ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಡ ಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ಸನ್ಬಲ್ಲಟನೂ ಟೋಬೀಯನೂ ಅರಬ್ಯ ನಾದ ಗೆಷೆಮನೂ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ನಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೂ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ

ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ಆ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಅದರ ಗೋಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿ.
