1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, a called apostle, having been separated to the good news of God --ಪೌಲನೆಂಬ ನಾನು ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ದಾಸನೂ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲನಾಗಿರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆ ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ದೇವರ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

2 which He announced before through His prophets in holy writings --(ಆ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಆತನು ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಬರಹಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನು).

3 concerning His Son, (who is come of the seed of David according to the flesh,ಅದು ಯಾವದೆಂದರೆ, ಆತನು ಶಾರೀರಕವಾಗಿ ದಾವೀದನ ಸಂತಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಾತನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ದೇವರಕುಮಾರನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ವಿಷಯವಾ ದದ್ದೇ;

4 who is marked out Son of God in power, according to the Spirit of sanctification, by the rising again from the dead,) Jesus Christ our Lord;ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕನು ಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಸತ್ತವರೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನ ಹೊಂದುವದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಆತನು ದೇವಕುಮಾರನೆಂದು ಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟನು;

5 through whom we did receive grace and apostleship, for obedience of faith among all the nations, in behalf of his name;ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿಗಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳವರು ನಂಬಿಕೆಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗುವಂತೆ ಆತನಿಂದ ನಾವು ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲತನವನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

6 among whom are also ye, the called of Jesus Christ;ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ನೀವು ಸಹ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನವರಾಗಿರುವ ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ.

7 to all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called saints; Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father, and `from' the Lord Jesus Christ!ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಿಯ ರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಾಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ರೋಮ್‌ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವ ರಿಂದಲೂ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೃಪೆಯೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನವೂ ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿ.

8 first, indeed, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is proclaimed in the whole world;ಮೊದಲನೆಯದಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ಲೋಕ ದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾದದರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

9 for God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the good news of His Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you,ನಾನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಡೆಬಿಡದೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಯಾವಾತನ ಮಗನ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇವಿಸುತ್ತೇನೋ ಆ ದೇವರೇ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ.

10 always in my prayers beseeching, if by any means now at length I shall have a prosperous journey, by the will of God, to come unto you,ಕೊನೆಯದಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಗಾದರೂ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವು ಸಫಲವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

11 for I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, that ye may be established;ನೀವು ಸ್ಥಿರಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಾವದಾದರೂ ಆತ್ಮೀಕದಾನ ದೊರೆಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಹಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

12 and that is, that I may be comforted together among you, through the faith in one another, both yours and mine.ಹೀಗೆ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂ ದಿಗೆ ಆದರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವೆನು.

13 And I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, that many times I did purpose to come unto you -- and was hindered till the present time -- that some fruit I might have also among you, even as also among the other nations.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಬೇರೆ ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಫಲವುಂಟಾ ದಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನಗೆ ಯಾವದಾದರೂ ಫಲ ದೊರೆಯಲೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಅನೇಕಸಾರಿ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಈ ವರೆಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಿಯಾಯಿತೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಆಶಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

14 Both to Greeks and to foreigners, both to wise and to thoughtless, I am a debtor,ನಾನು ಗ್ರೀಕರಿಗೂ ಅನ್ಯಜನರಿಗೂ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಅಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಗಳಿಗೂ ಋಣಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

15 so, as much as in me is, I am ready also to you who `are' in Rome to proclaim good news,ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನಾದರೋ ರೋಮ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಿಮಗೂ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರಲು ಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

16 for I am not ashamed of the good news of the Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation to every one who is believing, both to Jew first, and to Greek.ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದು ಮೊದಲು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯ ರಿಗೂ ತರುವಾಯ ಗ್ರೀಕರಿಗೂ ಅಂತೂ ನಂಬುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೂ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

17 For the righteousness of God in it is revealed from faith to faith, according as it hath been written, `And the righteous one by faith shall live,'ನೀತಿವಂತನು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಜೀವಿಸುವನು ಎಂದು ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ ದೇವರ ನೀತಿಯು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಯಿತು.

18 for revealed is the wrath of God from heaven upon all impiety and unrighteousness of men, holding down the truth in unrighteousness.ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅನೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಡೆಹಿಡಿದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಕ್ತಿಹೀನತೆಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅನೀತಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಕೋಪವು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ತೋರಿ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ.

19 Because that which is known of God is manifest among them, for God did manifest `it' to them,ದೇವರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯಬಹು ದಾದದ್ದು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿದೆ; ದೇವರೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

20 for the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world, by the things made being understood, are plainly seen, both His eternal power and Godhead -- to their being inexcusable;ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ ಜಗದು ತ್ಪತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಆತನ ಅದೃಶ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳು ಅಂದರೆ ಆತನ ನಿತ್ಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೂ ದೈವತ್ವವೂ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಬರುತ್ತವೆ.ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವರು ನೆವವಿಲ್ಲದವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

21 because, having known God they did not glorify `Him' as God, nor gave thanks, but were made vain in their reasonings, and their unintelligent heart was darkened,ಅವರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅರಿತಾಗ ಆತನನ್ನು ದೇವರೆಂದು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಫಲರಾದರು ಮತ್ತು ಮೂರ್ಖತನದ ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವು ಕತ್ತಲಾ ಯಿತು.

22 professing to be wise, they were made fools,ತಾವು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಹುಚ್ಚ ರಾದರು;

23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of fowls, and of quadrupeds, and of reptiles.ಲಯವಿಲ್ಲದ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಲಯವಾಗುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯ, ಪಕ್ಷಿ, ಪಶುಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಹರಿದಾಡುವವುಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

24 Wherefore also God did give them up, in the desires of their hearts, to uncleanness, to dishonour their bodies among themselves;ಆದಕಾರಣ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳ ದುರಾಶೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ದೇಹಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಅವ ಮಾನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ತನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು;

25 who did change the truth of God into a falsehood, and did honour and serve the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed to the ages. Amen.ಅವರು ದೇವರ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸುಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೇ ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ ಸೇವಿಸಿದರು; ಆತನು (ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನು) ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಸ್ತುತಿ ಹೊಂದತಕ್ಕವನು. ಆಮೆನ್‌.

26 Because of this did God give them up to dishonourable affections, for even their females did change the natural use into that against nature;ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ತುಚ್ಛ ವಾದ ಮನೋಭಾವಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ ಅವರ ಹೆಂಗಸರು ಸಹ ಸ್ವಾಭಾವಿಕವಾದ ಭೋಗ ವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಭಾವ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದ ಭೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿ ಸಿದರು.

27 and in like manner also the males having left the natural use of the female, did burn in their longing toward one another; males with males working shame, and the recompense of their error that was fit, in themselves receiving.ಅದರಂತೆ ಗಂಡಸರೂ ಸ್ವಾಭಾವಿಕ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಭೋಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಒಬ್ಬರಮೇಲೊಬ್ಬರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾಮಾತುರದಿಂದ ತಾಪಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಗಂಡಸರ ಸಂಗಡ ಗಂಡಸರು ಅಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ತಮ್ಮ ತಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂದಿದರು.

28 And, according as they did not approve of having God in knowledge, God gave them up to a disapproved mind, to do the things not seemly;ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬಾರದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡು ವಂತೆ ಅನಿಷ್ಟಭಾವಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.

29 having been filled with all unrighteousness, whoredom, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil dispositions; whisperers,ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಸಕಲ ಅನೀತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಜಾರತ್ವ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗತನ ದುರಾಶೆ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವ ಇವುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿದವರಾಗಿ ಹೊಟ್ಟೇಕಿಚ್ಚು ಕೊಲೆ ವಿವಾದ ಮೋಸ ತುಂಬಿದವರೂ ಅತಿಉಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದವರೂ ಪಿಸುಗುಟ್ಟುವ ವರೂ

30 evil-speakers, God-haters, insulting, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,ಚಾಡಿಹೇಳುವವರೂ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುವವರೂ ಧಿಕ್ಕರಿಸುವವರೂ ಅಹಂಕಾರಿಗಳೂ ಉಬ್ಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವವರೂ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರೂ

31 unintelligent, faithless, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful;ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲ ದವರೂ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಪ್ಪುವವರೂ ಸ್ವಾಭಾವಿಕವಾದ ಮಮತೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವರೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗದವರೂ ಕರುಣೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವರೂ ಆದರು.

32 who the righteous judgment of God having known -- that those practising such things are worthy of death -- not only do them, but also have delight with those practising them.ಇಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರು ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯರೆಂಬ ದೇವರ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
