Proverbs 9
13 ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನಳಾದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಕೂಗಾಟದವಳು. ಅವಳು ಅಜ್ಞಾನಿ; ಏನೂ ತಿಳಿಯದವಳು.
14 ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
15 ಮಾರ್ಗಕ್ಕನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕ ರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
16 ಯಾವನು ಮೂಢನೋ ಅವನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಲಿ; ವಿವೇಕವಿಲ್ಲದವನಿಗೆ ಆಕೆಯು--
17 ಕದಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ನೀರುಗಳು ಸಿಹಿಯಾಗಿವೆ ರಹಸ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನುವ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯು ರುಚಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
13 A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing.
14 For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,
15 To call passengers who go right on their ways:
16 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
17 Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.
