Proverbs 22 - YLT (Kannada)

1 A name is chosen rather than much wealth, Than silver and than gold -- good grace.ಬಹು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಹೆಸರನ್ನೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ದಯವನ್ನೂ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ಉತ್ತಮ.

2 Rich and poor have met together, The Maker of them all `is' Jehovah.ಧನಿಕರು, ಬಡವರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸಂಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದಾತನು ಕರ್ತನೇ.

3 The prudent hath seen the evil, and is hidden, And the simple have passed on, and are punished.ಜಾಣನು ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರು ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾರೆ.

4 The end of humility `is' the fear of Jehovah, Riches, and honour, and life.ಐಶ್ವ ರ್ಯವೂ ಮಾನವೂ ಜೀವವೂ ವಿನಯ ಕರ್ತನ ಭಯದಿಂದಲೇ.

5 Thorns -- snares `are' in the way of the perverse, Whoso is keeping his soul is far from them.ಮೂಢರ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳ್ಳು ಗಳೂ ಉರುಲುಗಳೂ ಇವೆ; ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾ ಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿರುವನು.

6 Give instruction to a youth about his way, Even when he is old he turneth not from it.ನಡೆಯಬೇಕಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವಂತೆ ಹುಡುಗನಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕೊಡು; ಆಗ ಮುಪ್ಪಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವನು ಅದ ರಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

7 The rich over the poor ruleth, And a servant `is' the borrower to the lender.ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನು ಬಡವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಸಾಲಗಾರನು ಸಾಲಕೊಟ್ಟ ವನಿಗೆ ಸೇವಕನು.

8 Whoso is sowing perverseness reapeth sorrow, And the rod of his anger weareth out.ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತುವವನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ವನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಯುವನು; ಅವನ ಕೋಪದ ದಂಡವು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗುವದು.

9 The good of eye -- he is blessed, For he hath given of his bread to the poor.ದಯಾದೃಷ್ಟಿಯುಳ್ಳವನು ಆಶೀ ರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು; ತನಗಿದ್ದ ಆಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

10 Cast out a scorner -- and contention goeth out, And strife and shame cease.ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವವ ನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಕಲಹವು ನಿಲ್ಲುವದು; ಹೌದು, ವಿವಾದವೂ ನಿಂದೆಯೂ ನಿಂತುಹೋಗು ವವು.

11 Whoso is loving cleanness of heart, Grace `are' his lips, a king `is' his friend.ಹೃದಯ ಶುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳ ಕೃಪೆಗಾಗಿ ಅರಸನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ನಾಗಿರುವನು.

12 The eyes of Jehovah have kept knowledge, And He overthroweth the words of the treacherous.ಕರ್ತನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುತ್ತವೆ; ಆತನು ದೋಷಿಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕುತ್ತಾನೆ.

13 The slothful hath said, `A lion `is' without, In the midst of the broad places I am slain.'ಸೋಮಾರಿಯು--ಹೊರಗೆ ಸಿಂಹವಿದೆ; ಅದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

14 A deep pit `is' the mouth of strange women, The abhorred of Jehovah falleth there.ಪರಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಬಾಯಿ ಆಳವಾದ ಕುಣಿ; ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವನು.

15 Folly is bound up in the heart of a youth, The rod of chastisement putteth it far from him.ಮೂರ್ಖತನವು ಹುಡುಗನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯ ಬೆತ್ತವು ಅದನ್ನು ಅವನಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವದು.

16 He is oppressing the poor to multiply to him, He is giving to the rich -- only to want.ತನ್ನ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವವನೂ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವವನೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊರತೆಪಡುವನು.

17 Incline thine ear, and hear words of the wise, And thy heart set to my knowledge,ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟು ಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಗಳ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು; ನನ್ನ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸು.

18 For they are pleasant when thou dost keep them in thy heart, They are prepared together for thy lips.ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಕಾಪಾಡಿದರೆ ಅದು ರಮ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅವು ನಿನ್ನ ತುಟಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವವು.

19 That thy trust may be in Jehovah, I caused thee to know to-day, even thou.ನಿನ್ನ ಭರವಸವು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಂತೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಈ ದಿವಸ ತಿಳಿಯ ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

20 Have I not written to thee three times With counsels and knowledge?ಸತ್ಯದ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿ ಸಿದವರಿಗೆ

21 To cause thee to know the certainty of sayings of truth, To return sayings of truth to those sending thee.ನೀನು ಸತ್ಯದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರಿ ಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಬರೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

22 Rob not the poor because he `is' poor, And bruise not the afflicted in the gate.ಅವನು ಬಡವನೆಂದು ಬಡವನನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡ ಬೇಡ; ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ದರಿದ್ರರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸ ಬೇಡ.

23 For Jehovah pleadeth their cause, And hath spoiled the soul of their spoilers.ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ ಸೂರೆ ಮಾಡಿದವರ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡುವನು.

24 Shew not thyself friendly with an angry man, And with a man of fury go not in,ಸಿಟ್ಟುಗಾರನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಮಾಡಬೇಡ; ಕೋಪಿ ಷ್ಠನ ಸಂಗಡ ನೀನು ಹೋಗಬೇಡ.

25 Lest thou learn his paths, And have received a snare to thy soul.ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ ದರೆ ನೀನು ಅವನ ನಡತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಉರ್ಲನ್ನು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ.

26 Be not thou among those striking hands, Among sureties `for' burdens.ಕೈ ಕೊಡುವವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಸಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಣೆಯಾಗುವವರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಒಬ್ಬ ನಾಗಬೇಡ.

27 If thou hast nothing to pay, Why doth he take thy bed from under thee?ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವದು ಯಾಕೆ?

28 Remove not a border of olden times, That thy fathers have made.ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಹಾಕಿದ ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಡ.

29 Hast thou seen a man speedy in his business? Before kings he doth station himself, He stations not himself before obscure men!ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯುಳ್ಳವನನ್ನು ನೀನು ನೋಡಿ ದ್ದೀಯಾ? ಅವನು ನೀಚರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಅರಸರ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ನಿಲ್ಲುವನು.
