Genesis 47 - BBE (Kannada)

1 Then Joseph went to Pharaoh, and said, My father and my brothers with their flocks and their herds and all they have, are come from Canaan, and are now in the land of Goshen.ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಬಂದು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ-- ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುರಿ ದನಗಳನ್ನು ತಮಗಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಕಾನಾನ್‌ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಗೋ, ಅವರು ಗೋಷೆನ್‌ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂದನು.

2 And he took five of his brothers to Pharaoh.ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಫರೋಹನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು.

3 And Pharaoh said to them, What is your business? And they said, Your servants are keepers of sheep, as our fathers were before us.ಫರೋಹನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸವೇನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸರಾದ ನಾವೂ ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳೂ ಕುರಿಕಾಯುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.

4 And they said to Pharaoh, We have come to make a living in this land, because we have no grass for our flocks in the land of Canaan; so now let your servants make a place for themselves in the land of Goshen.ಅವರು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ--ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷಾಮವು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸರ ಮಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲು ಇಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸರು ಗೋಷೆನ್‌ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವವರಾಗುವಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.

5 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Let them have the land of Goshen; and if there are any able men among them, put them over my cattle.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಫರೋಹನು ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದ ರರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

6 And Jacob and his sons came to Joseph in Egypt, and when word of it came to the ears of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, he said to Joseph, Your father and brothers have come to you; all the land of Egypt is before you; let your father and your brothers have the best of the land for their resting-place.ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದೆ. ದೇಶದ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೂ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು. ಗೋಷೆನ್‌ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ವಾಸವಾ ಗಿರಲಿ. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳವರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಮಗಿರುವ ಮಂದೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿಚಾರಕರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಇರಿಸು ಅಂದನು.

7 Then Joseph made his father Jacob come before Pharaoh, and Jacob gave him his blessing.ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬ ನನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಫರೋಹನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು. ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಫರೋಹನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವ ದಿಸಿದನು.

8 And Pharaoh said to him, How old are you?ಫರೋಹನು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ--ನಿನಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ವರುಷಗಳು ಅಂದಾಗ

9 And Jacob said, The years of my wanderings have been a hundred and thirty; small in number and full of sorrow have been the years of my life, and less than the years of the wanderings of my fathers.ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾಸದ ದಿನಗಳು ನೂರ ಮೂವತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳು. ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನದ ದಿನಗಳು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾಗಿಯೂ ದುಃಖಕರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದವು. ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗಳು ತಾವು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ಜೀವನದ ವರುಷಗಳ ದಿನಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಮುಟ್ಟಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

10 And Jacob gave Pharaoh his blessing, and went out from before him.ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಫರೋಹನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು.

11 And Joseph made a place for his father and his brothers, and gave them a heritage in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had given orders.ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ ರಿಗೂ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಫರೋಹನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ರಮ್ಸೇಸ್‌ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

12 And Joseph took care of his father and his brothers and all his father's people, giving them food for the needs of their families.ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋ ದರರನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

13 Now there was no food to be had in all the land, so that all Egypt and Canaan were wasted from need of food.ಆದರೆ ಬರವು ಅತಿ ಘೋರವಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆಹಾರ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶವೂ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ದೇಶವೂ ಕ್ಷಾಮದಿಂದ ಕ್ಷೀಣವಾದವು.

14 And all the money in Egypt and in the land of Canaan which had been given for grain, came into the hands of Joseph: and he put it in Pharaoh's house.ಆಗ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜನರು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡ ಧಾನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಹಣವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಫರೋಹನ ಮನೆಗೆ ತಂದನು.

15 And when all the money in Egypt and Canaan was gone, the Egyptians came to Joseph, and said, Give us bread; would you have us come to destruction before your eyes? for we have no more money.ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹಣವು ಮುಗಿದಾಗ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ನಮಗೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡು, ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಸಾಯಬೇಕು? ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಹಣವೆಲ್ಲಾ ತೀರಿತು ಅಂದರು.

16 And Joseph said, Give me your cattle; I will give you grain in exchange for your cattle if your money is all gone.ಆಗ ಯೋಸೇಫ ನು--ನಿಮ್ಮ ದನಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಹಣ ತೀರಿದ್ದೇಯಾದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದನಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ (ಧಾನ್ಯವನ್ನು) ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

17 So they took their cattle to Joseph and he gave them bread in exchange for their horses and flocks and herds and asses, so all that year he gave them food in exchange for their cattle.ಆಗ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದರು. ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಅವರ ಕುದುರೆ ಮಂದೆ ದನ ಕತ್ತೆ ಇವುಗಳ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು. ಆ ವರುಷವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸಿದನು.

18 And when that year was ended, they came to him in the second year, and said, We may not keep it from our lord's knowledge that all our money is gone, and all the herds of cattle are my lord's; there is nothing more to give my lord but our bodies and our land;ಆ ವರುಷವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಎರಡನೆಯ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಹಣವೂ ಪಶುಗಳ ಮಂದೆಗಳೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಒಡೆಯನ ವಶವಾಗಿ ಮುಗಿದಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಶರೀರಗಳೂ ಭೂಮಿಗಳೂ ಹೊರತು ನಮ್ಮ ಒಡೆಯನ ಮುಂದೆ ಏನೂ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂಬದನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಒಡೆಯನಿಗೆ ಮರೆಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

19 Are we to come to destruction before your eyes, we and our land? take us and our land and give us bread; and we and our land will be servants to Pharaoh; and give us seed so that we may have life and the land may not become waste.ನಾವೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಿಗೆ ಸಾಯುವದು ಯಾಕೆ? ನಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಡುಕೋ. ಆಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಫರೋಹನ ವಶವಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಗುಲಾಮರಾಗಿರುವೆವು. ನಮಗೆ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು; ಆಗ ನಾವು ಸಾಯದೆ ಬದುಕುವೆವು, ಭೂಮಿಯು ಹಾಳಾಗದೆ ಇರುವದು ಅಂದರು.

20 So Joseph got all the land in Egypt for Pharaoh; for every Egyptian gave up his land in exchange for food, because of their great need; so all the land became Pharaoh's.ಆಗ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶ ವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಫರೋಹನಿಗಾಗಿ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡನು. ಹೇಗಂದರೆ, ಬರವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮ ಹೊಲಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು

21 And as for the people, he made servants of them, town by town, from one end of Egypt to the other.ಹೀಗೆ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಫರೋಹನದಾಯಿತು. ಅವನು ಜನರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಒಂದು ಮೇರೆಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಮೇರೆಯ ವರೆಗೆ ಇದ್ದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿದನು.

22 Only he did not take the land of the priests, for the priests had their food given them by Pharaoh, and having what Pharaoh gave them, they had no need to give up their land.ವೈದಿಕರ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಅವನು ಕೊಂಡು ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಫರೋಹನು ವೈದಿಕರಿಗೆ ಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಊಟಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು; ಆದ ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

23 Then Joseph said to the people, I have made you and your land this day the property of Pharaoh; here is seed for you to put in your fields.ಆಗ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಜನರಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಇಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಫರೋಹನಿಗಾಗಿ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇಗೋ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೀಜವಿದೆ. ನೀವು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಜಬಿತ್ತಿರಿ.

24 And when the grain is cut, you are to give a fifth part to Pharaoh, and four parts will be yours for seed and food, and for your families and your little ones.ಬೆಳೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಐದನೆಯ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಾಲು ಹೊಲದ ಬೀಜಕ್ಕಾ ಗಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಇರಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

25 And they said to him, Truly you have kept us from death; may we have grace in your eyes, and we will be Pharaoh's servants.ಆಗ ಅವರು--ನೀನೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬದುಕಿಸಿದ್ದೀ, ನಮ್ಮ ಒಡೆಯನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನಮಗೆ ಕೃಪೆ ದೊರಕಲಿ. ನಾವು ಫರೋಹನ ದಾಸರಾಗಿರುವೆವು ಅಂದರು.

26 Then Joseph made a law which is in force to this day, that Pharaoh was to have the fifth part; only the land of the priests did not become his.ಹೀಗೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ ಐದನೆಯ ಪಾಲು ಆಗಬೇಕೆಂಬದನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ನೇಮಕಮಾಡಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ದನು. ವೈದಿಕರ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಮಾತ್ರ ಫರೋಹ ನದಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

27 And so Israel was living among the Egyptians in the land of Goshen; and they got property there, and became very great in numbers and in wealth.ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಗೋಷೆನ್‌ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದ್ದರು.

28 And Jacob was living in the land of Goshen for seventeen years; so the years of his life were a hundred and forty-seven.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹದಿನೇಳು ವರುಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು. ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಬದುಕಿದ ದಿನಗಳು ನೂರ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತೇಳು ವರುಷಗಳು.

29 And the time of his death came near, and he sent for his son Joseph and said to him, If now I am dear to you, put your hand under my leg and take an oath that you will not put me to rest in Egypt;ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಸಾಯುವ ಸಮಯವು ಸವಿಾಪಿಸಿ ದಾಗ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಸೇಫನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕೃಪೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇಯಾದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ತೊಡೆಯ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ದಯೆಯನ್ನೂ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ತೋರಿಸು. ಹೇಗಂದರೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡಬೇಡ.

30 But when I go to my fathers, you are to take me out of Egypt and put me to rest in their last resting-place. And he said, I will do so.ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಾನು ಮಲಗಬೇಕು. ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡುಹೋಗಿ ಅವರ ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡು ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

31 And he said, Take an oath to me; and he took an oath to him: and Israel gave worship on the bed's head.ಯಾಕೋಬನು--ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡು ಅಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಮಂಚದ ತಲೆದೆಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಗಿಕೊಂಡನು.
