Genesis 13 - ASV (Kannada)

1 And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the South.ಆಗ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ತನಗೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಲೋಟನ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ದಕ್ಷಿಣಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಹೋದನು.

2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ದನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬಂಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬಹು ಧನವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

3 And he went on his journeys from the South even to Beth-el, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Beth-el and Ai,ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಿಂದ ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಮೊದಲು ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೆ ಆಯಿಗೆ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಗುಡಾರವಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೂ

4 unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of Jehovah.ಮೊದಲು ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೂ ಬಂದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡನು.

5 And Lot also, who went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents.ಅಬ್ರಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದ ಲೋಟನಿಗೆ ಸಹ ಕುರಿ ದನಗಳೂ ಗುಡಾರಗಳೂ ಇದ್ದವು.

6 And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together.ಆಗ ಅವರು ಒಂದಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಸಾಲದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ವಾಸಿಸದಷ್ಟು ಅವರ ಸಂಪತ್ತು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

7 And there was a strife between the herdsmen of Abram's cattle and the herdsmen of Lot's cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelt then in the land.ಆಗ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನ ದನಕಾಯುವವರಿಗೂ ಲೋಟನ ದನಕಾಯುವವರಿಗೂ ಜಗಳವಾಯಿತು. ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರೂ ಪೆರಿಜೀಯರೂ ಆಗ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

8 And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdsmen and thy herdsmen; for we are brethren.ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ಲೋಟನಿಗೆ--ನನಗೂ ನಿನಗೂ ನನ್ನ ದನಕಾಯುವವರಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದನಕಾಯುವವರಿಗೂ ಜಗಳವಿರಬಾರದು; ನಾವು ಸಹೋದರರು.

9 Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me. If `thou wilt take' the left hand, then I will go to the right. Or if `thou take' the right hand, then I will go to the left.ಭೂಮಿ ಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುತ್ತದಲ್ಲವೋ? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗು; ನೀನು ಎಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನಾನು ಬಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವೆನು; ನೀನು ಬಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನಾನು ಎಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the Plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before Jehovah destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, like the garden of Jehovah, like the land of Egypt, as thou goest unto Zoar.ಲೋಟನು ತನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಮೈದಾನವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೋಡಿದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಸೊದೋಮನ್ನೂ ಗೊಮೋರ ವನ್ನೂ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಅದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಚೋಗರಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ನೀರಾವರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕರ್ತನ ತೋಟದಂತೆಯೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಂತೆಯೂ ಇತ್ತು.

11 So Lot chose him all the Plain of the Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other.ತರುವಾಯ ಲೋಟನು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಮೈದಾನ ವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತನಗಾಗಿ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು; ಹೀಗೆ ಲೋಟನು ಮೂಡಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಂದೊಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

12 Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the Plain, and moved his tent as far as Sodom.ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದನು. ಲೋಟನು ಸೊದೋಮಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಡಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಮೈದಾನದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದನು.

13 Now the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners against Jehovah exceedingly.ಆದರೆ ಸೊದೋಮಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ದುಷ್ಟರೂ ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹು ಪಾಪಿಷ್ಠರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.

14 And Jehovah said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art, northward and southward and eastward and westward:ಲೋಟನು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಂದ ಅಗಲಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ನೀನಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಕ್ಕೂ ಪೂರ್ವಕ್ಕೂ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಕ್ಕೂ ನೋಡು.

15 for all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.ನೀನು ನೋಡುವ ದೇಶ ವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಗೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.

16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: So that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then may thy seed also be numbered.ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಧೂಳಿನಷ್ಟು ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಧೂಳನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಬಹುದಾದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವು ಸಹ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದು.

17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for unto thee will I give it.ಎದ್ದು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಉದ್ದಗಲದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಾಡು. ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

18 And Abram moved his tent, and came and dwelt by the oaks of Mamre, which are in Hebron, and built there an altar unto Jehovah.ಆಗ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿನ ಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಮ್ರೆಯ ಮೈದಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬಲಿ ಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದನು.
