ಅದೇ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೇಸು ಜನಸಮೂಹಗಳಿಗೆ--ಒಬ್ಬ ಕಳ್ಳನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬರುವಂತೆ ಕತ್ತಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೂ ದೊಣ್ಣೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿರಾ? ನಾನು ದಿನಾ ಲು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ;

In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.
