Matthew 14 - YLT (Kannada)

1 At that time did Herod the tetrarch hear the fame of Jesus,ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಚತುರಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಹೆರೋದನು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ --

2 and said to his servants, `This is John the Baptist, he did rise from the dead, and because of this the mighty energies are working in him.'ಇವನು ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸುವ ಯೋಹಾನನೇ; ಈಗ ಇವನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆದದರಿಂದಲೇ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಇವನಲ್ಲಿ ತೋರಿಬರುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

3 For Herod having laid hold on John, did bind him, and did put him in prison, because of Herodias his brother Philip's wife,ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಹೆರೋದನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಹೆರೋದ್ಯಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಯೋಹಾನನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದನು.

4 for John was saying to him, `It is not lawful to thee to have her,'ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು--ನೀನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವದು ನಿನಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು.

5 and, willing to kill him, he feared the multitude, because as a prophet they were holding him.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಯೋಹಾನನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾಗ ಜನ ಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

6 But the birthday of Herod being kept, the daughter of Herodias danced in the midst, and did please Herod,ಆದರೆ ಹೆರೋದನ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ದಿನವು ಆಚರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ಹೆರೋದ್ಯಳ ಮಗಳು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಾಟ್ಯವಾಡಿ ಹೆರೋದನನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದಳು.

7 whereupon with an oath he professed to give her whatever she might ask.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವಳು ಏನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಅವನು ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ವಾಗ್ದಾನಮಾಡಿದನು.

8 And she having been instigated by her mother -- `Give me (says she) here upon a plate the head of John the Baptist;ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯಿಂದ ಮೊದಲೇ ಕಲಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವಳಾಗಿ-- ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸುವ ಯೋಹಾನನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಾ ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು.

9 and the king was grieved, but because of the oaths and of those reclining with him, he commanded `it' to be given;ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ದುಃಖಪಟ್ಟಾಗ್ಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಆಣೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತದಿಂದಲೂ ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತಿದ್ದವರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತದಿಂದಲೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

10 and having sent, he beheaded John in the prison,ಮತ್ತು ಅವನು (ಆಳುಗಳನ್ನು) ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಹಾನನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಯಿಸಿದನು.

11 and his head was brought upon a plate, and was given to the damsel, and she brought `it' nigh to her mother.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದು ಆ ಹುಡುಗಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಅವಳು ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದಳು.

12 And his disciples having come, took up the body, and buried it, and having come, they told Jesus,ಆಗ ಅವನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಬಂದು ದೇಹವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

13 and Jesus having heard, withdrew thence in a boat to a desolate place by himself, and the multitudes having heard did follow him on land from the cities.ಯೇಸು ಆ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ದೋಣಿ ಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ವಿಂಗಡವಾಗಿ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು. ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಜನರು ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಲು ನಡಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿ ಸಿದರು.

14 And Jesus having come forth, saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion upon them, and did heal their infirm;ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಜನರ ಮಹಾಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕನಿಕರ ಪಟ್ಟು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿದನು.

15 and evening having come, his disciples came to him, saying, `The place is desolate, and the hour hath now past, let away the multitudes that, having gone to the villages, they may buy to themselves food.'ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲವಾದಾಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಇದು ಅಡವಿಯ ಸ್ಥಳ, ಸಮಯವು ದಾಟಿತು; ಜನರು ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತಮಗಾಗಿ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡು ಅಂದರು.

16 And Jesus said to them, `They have no need to go away -- give ye them to eat.'ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವ ರಿಗೆ--ಅವರು ಹೋಗುವದು ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ಊಟಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವೇ ಕೊಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

17 And they say to him, `We have not here except five loaves, and two fishes.'ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನಮ್ಮ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಐದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಎರಡು ಮಾನುಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

18 And he said, `Bring ye them to me hither.'ಆತನು--ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

19 And having commanded the multitudes to recline upon the grass, and having taken the five loaves and the two fishes, having looked up to the heaven, he did bless, and having broken, he gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes,ಜನ ಸಮೂಹವು ಹುಲ್ಲಿನಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆತನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟು ಆ ಐದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಎರಡು ಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಪರಲೋಕದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಮುರಿದು ಆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಜನಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

20 and they did all eat, and were filled, and they took up what was over of the broken pieces twelve hand-baskets full;ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಿಂದು ತೃಪ್ತರಾದರು; ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಉಳಿದ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಹನ್ನೆ ರಡು ಪುಟ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿಸಿದರು.

21 and those eating were about five thousand men, apart from women and children.ಊಟ ಮಾಡಿ ದವರು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಗಂಡಸರೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಐದು ಸಾವಿರ ಇದ್ದರು.

22 And immediately Jesus constrained his disciples to go into the boat, and to go before him to the other side, till he might let away the multitudes;ಕೂಡಲೆ ಯೇಸು ತಾನು ಜನಸಮೂಹಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವಷ್ಟರೊಳಗಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ದೋಣಿ ಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ತನಗಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಆಚೇ ದಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

23 and having let away the multitudes, he went up to the mountain by himself to pray, and evening having come, he was there alone,ಆತನು ಜನಸಮೂಹಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಏಕಾಂತವಾಗಿ ಗುಡ್ಡದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋದನು; ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲವಾದಾಗ ಆತನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದನು.

24 and the boat was now in the midst of the sea, distressed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.ಆಗ ದೋಣಿಯು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ತೆರೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬಡಿಯಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಗಾಳಿಯು ಎದುರಾಗಿತ್ತು.

25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went away to them, walking upon the sea,ಮತ್ತು ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ಜಾವದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೇಸು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.

26 and the disciples having seen him walking upon the sea, were troubled saying -- `It is an apparition,' and from the fear they cried out;ಆತನು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆಯುವದನ್ನು ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ನೋಡಿ ಕಳವಳಪಟ್ಟು--ಇದು ಭೂತ ಎಂದು ಭೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಕೂಗಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.

27 and immediately Jesus spake to them, saying, `Be of good courage, I am `he', be not afraid.'ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿರ್ರಿ; ನಾನೇ, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿಅಂದನು.

28 And Peter answering him said, `Sir, if it is thou, bid me come to thee upon the waters;'ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆದು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲು ನನಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡು ಅಂದನು.

29 and he said, `Come;' and having gone down from the boat, Peter walked upon the waters to come unto Jesus,ಅದಕ್ಕಾತನು--ಬಾ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ದೋಣಿಯಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗು ವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನೀರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆದನು.

30 but seeing the wind vehement, he was afraid, and having begun to sink, he cried out, saying, `Sir, save me.'ಆದರೆ ಬಲ ವಾದ ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಮುಣುಗುತ್ತಾ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

31 And immediately Jesus, having stretched forth the hand, laid hold of him, and saith to him, `Little faith! for what didst thou waver?'ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು--ಓ ಅಲ್ಪ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಯೇ, ನೀನು ಯಾಕೆ ಸಂದೇಹಪಟ್ಟೆ ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

32 and they having gone to the boat the wind lulled,ಅವರು ದೋಣಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಗಾಳಿನಿಂತು ಹೋಯಿತು.

33 and those in the boat having come, did bow to him, saying, `Truly -- God's Son art thou.'ದೋಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ--ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀನು ದೇವಕುಮಾರನೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

34 And having passed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret,ಅವರು ದಾಟಿ ಗೆನೆಜರೇತ್‌ ಸೀಮೆಗೆ ಬಂದರು.

35 and having recognized him, the men of that place sent forth to all that region round about, and they brought to him all who were ill,ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಜನರು ಆತನ ಗುರುತು ಹಿಡಿದು ಸುತ್ತ ಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಸೀಮೆಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳಿಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ರೋಗಿಗಳ ನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದರು.

36 and were calling on him that they might only touch the fringe of his garment, and as many as did touch were saved.ಅವರು ಆತನ ಉಡು ಪಿನ ಅಂಚನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮುಟ್ಟುವಂತೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಂಡರು; ಮತ್ತು ಯಾರಾರು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದರೋ ಅವರು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥರಾದರು.
