ಆಗ ಯೋಹಾನನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ--ಬರಬೇಕಾದವನು ನೀನೋ? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಾವು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನಿಗಾಗಿ ಎದುರು ನೋಡಬೇಕೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
