Luke 22 - DBY (Kannada)

1 Now the feast of unleavened bread, which [is] called the passover, drew nigh,ಆಗ ಪಸ್ಕವೆಂಬ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬವು ಸವಿಾಪವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

2 and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಕೊಲ್ಲ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

3 And Satan entered into Judas, who was surnamed Iscariote, being of the number of the twelve.ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಇಸ್ಕರಿಯೋತನೆಂಬ ಅಡ್ಡಹೆಸರಿನ ಯೂದ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈತಾನನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದನು.

4 And he went away and spoke with the chief priests and captains as to how he should deliver him up to them.ಅವನು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಹೋಗಿ ತಾನು ಹೇಗೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಿಡುಕೊಡುವ ದೆಂಬದನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕೂಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.

5 And they were rejoiced, and agreed to give him money.ಆಗ ಅವರು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹಣ ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಡಂಬಟ್ಟರು.

6 And he came to an agreement to do it, and sought an opportunity to deliver him up to them away from the crowd.ಅವನು ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಜನ ಸಮೂಹವು ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವಾಗ ಆತನನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ಸಂದರ್ಭವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

7 And the day of unleavened bread came, in which the passover was to be killed.ಆಗ ಪಸ್ಕದ ಕುರಿಯು ವಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ದಿನವು ಬಂದಿತು.

8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare the passover for us, that we may eat [it].ಆತನು ಪೇತ್ರ ಯೋಹಾನರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ--ನಾವು ಊಟ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪಸ್ಕವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

9 But they said to him, Where wilt thou that we prepare [it]?ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೀನು ಕೋರುತ್ತೀ ಅಂದರು.

10 And he said to them, Behold, as ye enter into the city a man will meet you, carrying an earthen pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he goes in;ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನೀವು ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಿನ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಕೊಡವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸುವನು; ಅವನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ನೀವು ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ.

11 and ye shall say to the master of the house, The Teacher says to thee, Where is the guest-chamber where I may eat the passover with my disciples?ನೀವು ಆ ಮನೆಯ ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಸ್ಕದ ಊಟ ಮಾಡುವ ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅತಿಥಿಯ ಕೊಠಡಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದು ಬೋಧಕನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರಿ.

12 And *he* will shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.ಅವನು ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲಂತಸ್ತಿನ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕೊಠಡಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುವನು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

13 And having gone they found it as he had said to them; and they prepared the passover.ಅವರು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಆತನು ತಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಕಂಡು ಪಸ್ಕವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ದಮಾಡಿದರು.

14 And when the hour was come, he placed himself at table, and the [twelve] apostles with him.ಆ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಆತನು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡನು.

15 And he said to them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer.ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಶ್ರಮೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಈ ಪಸ್ಕ ಊಟಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕುತೂಹಲದಿಂದ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ

16 For I say unto you, that I will not eat any more at all of it until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.ಇದು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದೊಳಗೆ ನೆರವೇರುವ ತನಕ ನಾನು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

17 And having received a cup, when he had given thanks he said, Take this and divide it among yourselves.ಆತನು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿ--ಇದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

18 For I say unto you, that I will not drink at all of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God come.ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ದೇನಂದರೆ--ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಬರುವ ತನಕ ನಾನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

19 And having taken a loaf, when he had given thanks, he broke [it], and gave [it] to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.ಆತನು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು--ಇದು ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ನನ್ನ ದೇಹ; ನನ್ನ ನೆನಪಿ ಗಾಗಿ ನೀವು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

20 In like manner also the cup, after having supped, saying, This cup [is] the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಊಟವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು--ಈ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯು ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸುರಿಸಲ್ಪ ಡುವ ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ತದಿಂದಾದ ಹೊಸಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

21 Moreover, behold, the hand of him that delivers me up [is] with me on the table;ಆದರೂ ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಡುವವನ ಕೈ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮೇಜಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದೆ.

22 and the Son of man indeed goes as it is determined, but woe unto that man by whom he is delivered up.ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಂತೆಯೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆದರೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಡುವ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

23 And *they* began to question together among themselves who then it could be of them who was about to do this.ಆಗ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಿರುವವನು ಯಾವನು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.

24 And there was also a strife among them which of them should be held to be [the] greatest.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಯಾವನು ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡವ ನೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವನು ಎಂದು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಾದವು ಸಹ ಇತ್ತು.

25 And he said to them, The kings of the nations rule over them, and they that exercise authority over them are called benefactors.ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳ ಅರಸರು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೊರೆತನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುವವರು ಉಪ ಕಾರಿಗಳೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

26 But *ye* [shall] not [be] thus; but let the greater among you be as the younger, and the leader as he that serves.ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಹಾಗಿರಬಾರದು. ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡವನಾಗಿರು ವವನು ಚಿಕ್ಕವನಂತೆ ಇರಲಿ; ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿರುವವನು ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವವನಂತೆ ಇರಲಿ.

27 For which [is] greater, he that is at table or he that serves? [Is] not he that is at table? But *I* am in the midst of you as the one that serves.ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಯಾರು ದೊಡ್ಡವರು? ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ವನೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವವನೋ? ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡವನಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವವನಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

28 But *ye* are they who have persevered with me in my temptations.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ನನ್ನ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಡೆಬಿಡದೆ ಇದ್ದವರು ನೀವೇ.

29 And *I* appoint unto you, as my Father has appointed unto me, a kingdom,ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನನಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾನೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ವನ್ನು ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

30 that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.ಹೀಗೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಜಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿದು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕುಲಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to have you, to sift [you] as wheat;ತರುವಾಯ ಕರ್ತನು--ಸೀಮೋನನೇ, ಸೀಮೋ ನನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ಸೈತಾನನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಗೋಧಿಯಂತೆ ಒನೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

32 but *I* have besought for thee that thy faith fail not; and *thou*, when once thou hast been restored, confirm thy brethren.ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗದಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನೀನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

33 And he said to him, Lord, with thee I am ready to go both to prison and to death.ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಾಯು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, [the] cock shall not crow to-day before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.ಆದರೆ ಆತನು--ಪೇತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅರಿಯೆನೆಂದು ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಈ ದಿವಸ ಹುಂಜ ಕೂಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

35 And he said to them, When I sent you without purse and scrip and sandals, did ye lack anything? And they said, Nothing.ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹವ್ಮೆಾಣಿ ಚೀಲ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆರಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಕೊರತೆಯಾಯಿತೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವರು--ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.

36 He said therefore to them, But now he that has a purse let him take [it], in like manner also a scrip, and he that has none let him sell his garment and buy a sword;ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಹವ್ಮೆಾಣಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ಚೀಲ ಇದ್ದವನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ; ಕತ್ತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾರಿ ಒಂದು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.

37 for I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned with [the] lawless: for also the things concerning me have an end.ಯಾಕಂದರೆ--ಆತನು ಅಕ್ರಮಗಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನು ಎಂಬದಾಗಿ ಬರೆ ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದು ಇನ್ನೂ ನೆರವೇರತಕ್ಕದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ; ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯ ವಾದವುಗಳು ಕೊನೆಗಾಣಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

38 And they said, Lord, behold here are two swords. And he said to them, It is enough.ಆಗ ಅವರು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಕತ್ತಿಗಳಿವೆ ಅಂದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು ಅವ ರಿಗೆ--ಅದು ಸಾಕಾ ಅಂದನು.

39 And going forth he went according to his custom to the mount of Olives, and the disciples also followed him.ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ತನ್ನ ವಾಡಿಕೆಯಂತೆ ಎಣ್ಣೇಮರಗಳ ಗುಡ್ಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು. ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರು.

40 And when he was at the place he said to them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.ಆತನು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಶೋಧನೆಗೆ ಒಳ ಗಾಗದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and having knelt down he prayed,ಆತನು ಅವ ರಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯುವಷ್ಟು ದೂರಹೋಗಿ ಮೊಣ ಕಾಲೂರಿ--

42 saying, Father, if thou wilt remove this cup from me: -- but then, not my will, but thine be done.ತಂದೆಯೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತವಿದ್ದರೆ ಈ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಸು; ಹೇಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತವಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತದಂತೆಯೇ ಆಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿ ದನು.

43 And an angel appeared to him from heaven strengthening him.ಆಗ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೂತನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದನು.

44 And being in conflict he prayed more intently. And his sweat became as great drops of blood, falling down upon the earth.ಆತನು ವೇದನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಬಹಳ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದನು. ಆತನ ಬೆವರು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ರಕ್ತದ ಹನಿಗಳೋಪಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು.

45 And rising up from his prayer, coming to the disciples, he found them sleeping from grief.ಆತನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಎದ್ದಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವರು ದುಃಖದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ನಿದ್ರೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ--

46 And he said to them, Why sleep ye? rise up and pray that ye enter not into temptation.ನೀವು ನಿದ್ರೆ ಮಾಡುವದು ಯಾಕೆ? ಶೋಧನೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗ ದಂತೆ ಎದ್ದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

47 As he was yet speaking, behold, a crowd, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went on before them, and drew near to Jesus to kiss him.ಆತನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಸಮೂಹವು ಮತ್ತು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೂದ ನೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ಮುದ್ದಿಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಸವಿಾಪಿಸಿದನು.

48 And Jesus said to him, Judas, deliverest thou up the Son of man with a kiss?ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ-- ಯೂದನೇ, ಮುದ್ದಿನಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಡುತ್ತೀಯೋ ಅಂದನು.

49 And they who were around him, seeing what was going to follow, said [to him], Lord, shall we smite with [the] sword?ಆತನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರು ವವರು ಮುಂದೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಿರುವದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾವು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆಯೋ ಣವೋ? ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.

50 And a certain one from among them smote the bondman of the high priest and took off his right ear.ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕನ ಆಳನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಅವನ ಬಲ ಕಿವಿಯನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿದನು.

51 And Jesus answering said, Suffer thus far; and having touched his ear, he healed him.ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು--ಇಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆತನು ಅವನ ಕಿವಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಪಡಿಸಿದನು.

52 And Jesus said to the chief priests and captains of the temple and elders, who were come against him, Have ye come out as against a robber with swords and sticks?ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರಿಗೂ ದೇವಾಲ ಯದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೂ--ಕಳ್ಳನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕತ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ದೊಣ್ಣೆ ಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನೀವು ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದಿರೋ?

53 When I was day by day with you in the temple ye did not stretch out your hands against me; but this is your hour and the power of darkness.ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೈ ಚಾಚಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಇದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗಳಿಗೆಯೂ ಅಂಧಕಾರದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದೆ ಅಂದನು.

54 And having laid hold on him, they led him [away], and they led [him] into the house of the high priest. And Peter followed afar off.ಆಗ ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಮಹಾ ಯಾಜಕನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು. ಪೇತ್ರನು ದೂರದಿಂದ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದನು.

55 And they having lit a fire in the midst of the court and sat down together, Peter sat among them.ಅವರು ಅಂಗಳದ ನಡುವೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಉರಿಸಿ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಪೇತ್ರನೂ ಅವರ ನಡುವೆ ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡನು.

56 And a certain maid, having seen him sitting by the light, and having fixed her eyes upon him, said, And this [man] was with him.ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಹುಡುಗಿಯು ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಪೇತ್ರನನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿ--ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಸಹ ಆತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದ ವನು ಅಂದಳು.

57 But he denied [him], saying, Woman, I do not know him.ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲ ಗಳೆದು--ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯೇ, ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅರಿಯೆನು ಅಂದನು.

58 And after a short time another seeing him said, And *thou* art of them. But Peter said, Man, I am not.ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಮಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--ನೀನು ಸಹ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದವನು ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು--ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ, ನಾನಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

59 And after the lapse of about one hour another stoutly maintained it, saying, In truth this [man] also was with him, for also he is a Galilaean.ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಒಂದು ತಾಸು ಕಳೆದ ನಂತರ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ದೃಢನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ--ನಿಜವಾ ಗಿಯೂ ಇವನು ಸಹ ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇವನು ಗಲಿಲಾಯದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he was yet speaking, [the] cock crew.ಆದರೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು--ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ, ನೀನು ಏನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀಯೋ ನಾನರಿಯೆ ಅಂದನು. ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಹುಂಜ ಕೂಗಿತು.

61 And the Lord, turning round, looked at Peter; and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he said to him, Before [the] cock crow thou shalt deny me thrice.ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಪೇತ್ರನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡಿದನು; ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು--ಹುಂಜ ಕೂಗುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವಿ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನೆನಪು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.

62 And Peter, going forth without, wept bitterly.ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಹೊರಗೆಹೋಗಿ ಬಹು ವ್ಯಥೆಪಟ್ಟು ಅತ್ತನು.

63 And the men who held him mocked him, beating [him];ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದ ಜನರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದರು.

64 and covering him up, asked him saying, Prophesy, who is it that struck thee?ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ಆತನ ಕಣ್ಣುಕಟ್ಟಿ ಆತನ ಮುಖದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಡೆದು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದವರು ಯಾರು? ಪ್ರವಾ ದನೆ ಹೇಳು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.

65 And they said many other injurious things to him.ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ದೂಷಣೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳ ನ್ನಾಡಿದರು.

66 And when it was day, the elderhood of the people, both [the] chief priests and scribes, were gathered together, and led him into their council, saying,ಬೆಳಗಾದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಜನರ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳೂ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನಾ ಸಭೆಗೆ ಸಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ--

67 If *thou* art the Christ, tell us. And he said to them, If I tell you, ye will not at all believe;ನೀನು ಆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೋ? ನಮಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದರು. ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ದರೆ ನೀವು ನಂಬುವದಿಲ್ಲ;

68 and if I should ask [you], ye would not answer me at all, nor let me go;ನಾನು ಸಹ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದಾದರೆ ನೀವು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೋಗಗೊಡಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

69 but henceforth shall the Son of man be sitting on the right hand of the power of God.ಇಂದಿನಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ದೇವರ ಬಲಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡಿರುವನು ಅಂದನು.

70 And they all said, *Thou* then art the Son of God? And he said to them, *Ye* say that I am.ಆಗ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ--ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನೀನು ದೇವರ ಮಗನೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿ ದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನೇ ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀರಿ ಅಂದನು.

71 And they said, What need have we any more of witness, for we have heard ourselves out of his mouth?ಆಗ ಅವರು--ನಮಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ಯಾಕೆ ಬೇಕು? ನಾವೇ ಈತನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.
