1ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ, ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರ ಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು, ಆತನ ಕರುಣೆಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತ ವಾಗಿರುವದು.Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2ಕರ್ತನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವವನಾರು? ಆತನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸುವವನಾರು?Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise?
3ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು.Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
4ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಕಟಾಕ್ಷದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೋ; ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದರ್ಶಿಸು.Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
5ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡವರ ಸುಖವನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನಾಂಗದ ಸಂತೋಷ ದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
6ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಾವು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಅಕ್ರಮಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ.We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
7ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕರುಣಾತಿಶಯವನ್ನು ನೆನಸದೆ, ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಂದರೆ ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಹತ್ತಿರ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದರು.Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
8ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಮಹಾಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
9ಆತನು ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಲು ಅದು ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಯಿತು. ಹೀಗೆ ಜಲಾಗಾಧದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅರಣ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದನು.He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
10ವೈರಿಯ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಶತ್ರು ವಿನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11ನೀರುಗಳು ಅವರ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟವು; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
12ಆಗ ಅವರು ಆತನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಬಿ ಆತನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ವನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು.Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
13ಆತನ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಬೇಗ ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟು ಆತನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಕಾದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇದ್ದರು.They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
14ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದುರಾಶೆಯಿಂದ ಆಶಿಸಿ ಮರುಭೂಮಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
15ಆಗ ಅವರ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆತನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷೀಣತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
16ಅವರು ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ದನಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಹೊಟ್ಟೇಕಿಚ್ಚು ಪಟ್ಟರು.They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.
17ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಾಯಿತೆರೆದು ದಾತಾನನನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿ ಅಬಿರಾಮನ ಗುಂಪನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು.The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram.
18ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅವರ ಗುಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉರಿದು, ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟಿತು.And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
19ಅವರು ಹೋರೇಬಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರುವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಎರಕದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಅಡ್ಡ ಬಿದ್ದರು.They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
20ತಮ್ಮ ಘನವನ್ನು ಹುಲ್ಲು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಎತ್ತಿನ ರೂಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿದರು.Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
21ತಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಕನಾಗಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನೂThey forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
22ಹಾಮನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಂಕರವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿದ ದೇವ ರನ್ನು ಅವರು ಮರೆತರು.Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
23ಆದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆತನ ಕೋಪ ವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಪತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡನು.Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
24ಹೌದು, ಅವರು, ಮನೋಹರವಾದ ದೇಶ ವನ್ನು ಅಸಹ್ಯಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಆತನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನಂಬದೆ ಹೋದರು.Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
25ತಮ್ಮ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳದೆ ಹೋದರು.But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
26ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಡವುವದಕ್ಕೂTherefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
27ಅವರ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಡವಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆತ್ತಿದನು.To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
28ಬಾಳ್ಪೆಗೊ ಯೋರಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದುThey joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಕ್ಕಿತು.Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
30ಆಗ ಫೀನೆಹಾಸನು ನಿಂತು ಕೊಂಡು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ನಿಂತು ಹೋಯಿತು.Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.
31ಇದು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಯುಗ ಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಆತನಿಗೆ ನೀತಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
32ಅವರು ವಿವಾದದ ನೀರಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು; ಅವರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಬಂತು.They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
33ಅವರು ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನನ್ನು ಕೆಣ ಕಿದರು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನತೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.
34ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಜನಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ನಾಶಮಾಡದೆ ಹೋದರು.They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:
35ಆದರೆ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗ ಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು; ಅವರ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತುಕೊಂಡರು.But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
36ಅವರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಅವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೇಣು ಆದವು.And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
37ತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ದೆವ್ವಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನಿರಪರಾ ಧದ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿ, ಕಾನಾನಿನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ; ದೇಶವನ್ನು ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು.And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
39ಹೀಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಜಾರರಾದರು.Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
40ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೋಪವು ಆತನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಉರಿ ಯಿತು; ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಅಸಹ್ಯಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡುTherefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
41ಅವರನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಕೈಗೆಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಅವರ ಹಗೆಯವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಳಿದರು.And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
42ಅವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಾಧೆಪಡಿಸಿದರು; ಅವರ ಕೈಕೆಳಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾದರು.Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
43ಬಹಳ ಸಾರಿ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಅವರು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋದರು.Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
44ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವರ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಆತನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟುNevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
45ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಅತಿಶಯವಾದ ಕರು ಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಟ್ಟನು.And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
46ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರು ಕರುಣೆ ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
47ಓ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯಘೋಷ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು. ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡು.Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
48ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ತುತಿಯುಂಟಾಗಲಿ. ಜನರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆಮೆನ್ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಿ. ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ.Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.
