Luke 7 - BBE (Kannada)

1 After he had come to the end of all his words in the hearing of the people, he went into Capernaum.ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೇಳುವಂತೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದನು.

2 And a certain captain had a servant who was very dear to him; this servant was ill and near to death.ಆಗ ಒಬ್ಬ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಿಯನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆಳು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿ ಸಾಯುವಹಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

3 And when news of Jesus came to his ears, he sent to him rulers of the Jews, requesting that he would come and make his servant well.ಅವನು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ವಿಷಯ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಆತನು ಬಂದು ತನ್ನ ಆಳನ್ನು ಗುಣ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

4 And they, when they came to Jesus, made their request warmly, saying,ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯ ಮಾಡಿ--ನೀನು (ಅವನ ಆಳನ್ನು) ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಯೋಗ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

5 It is right for you to do this for him, because he is a friend to our nation, and himself has put up a Synagogue for us.ಅವನು ನಮ್ಮ ಜನಾಂಗವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಮಗಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.

6 And Jesus went with them. And when he was not far from the house, the man sent friends to him, saying, Lord, do not give yourself trouble: for I am not important enough for you to come into my house:ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಆತನು ಮನೆಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೂರ ಇರುವಾಗ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರನ್ನು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊಂದರೆಪಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ.

7 And I had the feeling that I was not even good enough to come to you: but say the word only, and my servant will be well.ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಾನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಹೇಳು, ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಆಳು ಗುಣಹೊಂದುವನು;

8 For I, myself, am a man under authority, having men under me; and I say to this one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.ನಾನು ಸಹ ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವವನು; ನನ್ನ ಅಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೈನಿಕರಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ--ಹೋಗು ಅಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ--ಬಾ ಅಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆ--ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡು ಅಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ

9 And when these things were said to Jesus, he was surprised, and, turning to the mass of people coming after him, said, I have not seen such great faith, no, not in Israel.ಯೇಸು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು ತ್ತಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ--ಇಂಥ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

10 And when those who were sent came back to the house they saw that the servant was well.ಕಳುಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಮನೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದಾಗ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆ ಆಳು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡರು.

11 And it came about, after a little time, that he went to a town named Nain; and his disciples went with him, and a great number of people.ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾರಣೆಯ ದಿನ ಆತನು ನಾಯಿನೆಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು. ಆಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರೂ ಬಹು ಜನರೂ ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋದರು.

12 Now when he came near the door of the town, a dead man was being taken out, the only son of his mother, who was a widow: and a great number of people from the town were with her.ಆತನು ಪಟ್ಟಣ ದ್ವಾರದ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಸತ್ತುಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಮಗನು; ಆಕೆಯು ವಿಧವೆಯಾಗಿ ದ್ದಳು. ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ಆಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದರು.

13 And when the Lord saw her, he had pity on her and said to her, Be not sad.ಕರ್ತನು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕನಿಕರಪಟ್ಟು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ಅಳಬೇಡ ಅಂದನು.

14 And he came near, and put his hand on the stretcher where the dead man was: and those who were moving it came to a stop. And he said, Young man, I say to you, Get up.ಆತನು ಬಂದು ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದವರು ಕದಲದೆ ನಿಂತರು; ಆಗ ಆತನು--ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನೇ, ಎದ್ದೇಳು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

15 And the dead man got up, and words came from his lips. And he gave him to his mother.ಆಗ ಸತ್ತವನು ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಮಾತನಾಡಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು. ಆತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.

16 And fear came on all, and they gave praise to God, saying, A great prophet is among us: and, God has given thought to his people.ಆಗ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಭಯಹಿಡಿದವರಾಗಿ--ನಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾನೆ; --ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ದರ್ಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ದೇವ ರನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

17 And this story about him went through all Judaea and the places round about.ಆತನ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಈ ಸುದ್ದಿಯು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯೂದಾಯಕ್ಕೂ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಯಿತು.

18 And the disciples of John gave him an account of all these things.ಯೋಹಾನನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

19 Then John sent two of his disciples to the Lord, saying, Are you he who is to come, or are we waiting for another?ಆಗ ಯೋಹಾನನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ--ಬರಬೇಕಾದವನು ನೀನೋ? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಾವು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನಿಗಾಗಿ ಎದುರು ನೋಡಬೇಕೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

20 And when the men came to him they said, John the Baptist has sent us to you, saying, Are you he who is to come, or are we waiting for another?ಅವರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಬರಬೇಕಾದವನು ನೀನೋ? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಾವು ಬೇರೊಬ್ಬನಿಗಾಗಿ ಎದುರು ನೋಡ ಬೇಕೋ? ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸುವ ಯೋಹಾನನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

21 At that time, he made a number of people free from their diseases and their pains, and from evil spirits; and to others who were blind he gave back the use of their eyes.ಅದೇಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಗ ಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ದುರಾತ್ಮಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಪೀಡಿತರಾದ ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ಆತನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸಿದನು; ಕುರುಡರಾದ ಅನೇಕರಿಗೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

22 And answering them he said, Go back and give news to John of what you have seen, and the things which have come to your ears; the blind now see, those who had no power in their legs are walking, lepers are made clean, those who had no hearing now have their ears open, dead men come to life again, and the poor have the good news given to them.ತರು ವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಕುರು ಡರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಕುಂಟರು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಕುಷ್ಠ ರೋಗಿಗಳು ಶುದ್ಧರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಕಿವುಡರು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಸತ್ತವರು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯು ಸಾರಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಕಂಡು ಕೇಳಿದ ಇವು ಗಳನ್ನು

23 And a blessing will be on him who has no doubts about me.ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂದೇಹಪಡದವನೇ ಧನ್ಯನು ಅಂದನು.

24 And when the men who were sent by John had gone away, he said to the people, about John, What did you go out into the waste land to see? a tall stem moving in the wind?ಯೋಹಾನನ ದೂತರು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಯೋಹಾನನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಯಾವದನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಡವಿಗೆ ಹೋದಿರಿ? ಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಲಾಡುವದಂಟನ್ನೋ?

25 But what did you go out to see? a man in soft clothing? See now, those who have beautiful clothing and delicate food are in kings' houses.ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಏನು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋದಿರಿ? ಇಗೋ, ನಯವಾದ ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನೋ? ಶೋಭಾಯ ಮಾನವಾದ ಉಡುಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸುಖ ವಾಗಿ ಜೀವಿಸುವವರು ರಾಜರ ಓಲಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

26 But what did you go out to see? a prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet.ಆದರೆ ಏನು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋದಿರಿ? ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯನ್ನೋ? ಹೌದು, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವನನ್ನು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

27 This is he of whom it has been said, See, I send my servant before your face, who will make ready your way before you.ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಿದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ದೂತನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಯಾವನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿತ್ತೋ ಅವನೇ ಇವನು.

28 I say to you, Among all the sons of women, not one is greater than John: but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.ಯಾಕಂದರೆ-- ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರೊಳಗೆ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸುವ ಯೋಹಾನನಿಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಯಾವನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಲ್ಪನಾದವನು ಅವನಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ದೊಡ್ಡವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

29 (And all the people, and the tax-farmers, to whom John had given baptism, when they had knowledge of these things, gave glory to God.ಅವನಿಂದ ಉಪ ದೇಶ ಕೇಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರೂ ಸುಂಕದವರೂ ಯೋಹಾನನ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರಾಗಿ ದೇವರು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡರು.

30 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were against the purpose of God for themselves, not having had his baptism.)ಆದರೆ ಫರಿಸಾಯರೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳೂ ಅವನಿಂದ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋದದರಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

31 What comparison am I to make of the men of this generation? what are they like?ಕರ್ತನು--ಈ ಸಂತತಿಯವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಯಾವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಲಿ? ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಯಾವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ?

32 They are like children who are seated in the market-place, crying out to one another, and saying, We made music for you, but you did not take part in the dance; we gave cries of sorrow, but you were not sad.ಅವರು ಸಂತೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಕರೆ ಯುತ್ತಾ--ನಾವು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಕೊಳಲೂದಿದೆವು, ನೀವು ಕುಣಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾವು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಶೋಕಿಸಿದೆವು, ನೀವು ಅಳಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಕೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

33 For John the Baptist came, taking no food or drink, and you say, He has an evil spirit.ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸುವ ಯೋಹಾನನು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನದೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯದೆಯೂ ಬಂದನು; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು--ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ದೆವ್ವವಿದೆ ಅನ್ನುತ್ತೀರಿ.

34 The Son of man came feasting, and you say, Here is a lover of food and wine, a friend of tax-farmers and sinners.ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ತಿನ್ನು ವವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಕುಡಿಯುವವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಬಂದನು; ಆದರೆ ನೀವು--ಇಗೋ, ಹೊಟ್ಟೇಬಾಕನು, ಕುಡು ಕನು, ಸುಂಕದವರ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಪಿಗಳ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತೀರಿ.

35 But wisdom is judged to be right by all her children.ಆದರೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ನೀತಿ ನಿರ್ಣಯಪಡೆಯುವದು ಅಂದನು.

36 And one of the Pharisees made a request that he would take a meal with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house and took his seat at the table.ಆಗ ಫರಿಸಾಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಊಟ ಮಾಡ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು;ಆಗ ಆತನು ಆ ಫರಿಸಾ ಯನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡನು.

37 And there was a woman in the town who was a sinner; and when she had news that he was a guest in the Pharisee's house, she took a bottle of perfume,ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಫರಿಸಾಯನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೇಸು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಒಬ್ಬ ಪಾಪಿಯಾದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ತಿಳಿದು ಸುಗಂಧತೈಲದ ಭರಣಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದು

38 And went in and took her place at the back of him, near his feet, weeping, so that his feet were washed with the drops from her eyes, and with her hair she made them dry, and kissing his feet she put the perfume on them.ಆತನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಪಾದಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಆತನ ಪಾದ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿನಿಂದ ತೊಳೆಯಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ತಲೇಕೂದಲಿನಿಂದ ಒರಸಿ ಆತನ ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುದ್ದಿಟ್ಟು ಆ ತೈಲವನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿದಳು.

39 Now when the Pharisee in whose house he was saw it, he said to himself, This man, if he was a prophet, would be conscious what sort of woman this is who has put her hands on him, that she is a sinner.ಆಗ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕರೆದ ಫರಿಸಾಯನು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತನ್ನೊಳಗೆ--ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿದ್ದವಳು ಯಾರು ಎಂದೂ ಎಂಥತರವಾದ ಹೆಂಗಸು ಎಂದೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವಳು ಒಬ್ಬ ಪಾಪಿ ಎಂದು ತನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಅಂದು ಕೊಂಡನು.

40 And Jesus, answering, said, Simon, I have something to say to you. And he said, Master, say on.ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಸೀಮೋ ನನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಇದೆ ಅನ್ನಲು ಅವನು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಗುರುವೇ, ಹೇಳು ಅಂದಾಗ, ಆತನು--

41 And he said, Two men were in debt to a certain man of business: one had a debt of five hundred pence, and the other of fifty.ಸಾಲಕೊಡುವ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸಾಲಗಾರರಿದ್ದರು; ಒಬ್ಬನು ಐದುನೂರು ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಐವತ್ತು ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಗಿತ್ತು.

42 When they were unable to make payment, he made the two of them free of their debts. Which of them, now, will have the greater love for him?ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರನ್ನೂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ವಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವರು ಎಂಬದನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.

43 Simon, in answer, said, It seems he whose debt was greater. And he said, Your decision is right.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀಮೋನನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಅವನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿದನೋ ಅವನೇ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನೆನಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿದಿ ಅಂದನು.

44 And turning to the woman he said to Simon, You see this woman? I came into your house; you did not give me water for my feet: but she has been washing my feet with the drops from her eyes, and drying them with her hair.ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಸೀಮೋನ ನಿಗೆ--ಈ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆಯಾ? ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀನು ನೀರು ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಇವಳಾದರೋ ನನ್ನ ಪಾದ ಗಳನು ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿನಿಂದ ತೊಳೆದು ತನ್ನ ತಲೇಕೂದಲಿನಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒರೆ

45 You did not give me a kiss: but she, from the time when I came in, has gone on kissing my feet.ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಮುದ್ದು ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಒಳಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗಿನಿಂದ ಈ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುದ್ದಿಡುವದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

46 You put no oil on my head: but she has put perfume on my feet.ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಗೆ ನೀನು ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಹಚ್ಚಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಈ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ತೈಲವನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.

47 And so I say to you, She will have forgiveness for her sins which are great in number, because of her great love: but he who has small need of forgiveness gives little love.ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ಬಹಳವಾಗಿರುವ ಅವಳ ಪಾಪಗಳು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವಳು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ದಳು; ಆದರೆ ಯಾವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲ್ಪಡು ವದೋ ಅವನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವನು.

48 And he said to her, You have forgiveness for your sins.ಆತನು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ ಅಂದನು.

49 And those who were seated at table with him said to themselves, Who is this who even gives forgiveness of sins?ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತವರು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ--ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಈತನು ಯಾರು ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.

50 And he said to the woman, By your faith you have salvation; go in peace.ಆಗ ಆತನು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿಯದೆ, ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ಹೋಗು ಅಂದನು.
