ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯೂ ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮನೂ ಎರಡು ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲು ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಶುಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವಾಗಿ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
