1 Therefore let us also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,ಆದಕಾರಣ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯವರ ಇಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮೇಘವು ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಲು ಇರುವದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಾರವನ್ನೂ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಮುತ್ತಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪಾಪವನ್ನೂ ನಾವು ತೆಗೆದಿಟ್ಟು

2 looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.ನಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವಾತನೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುವಾತನೂ ಆಗಿ ರುವ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಟ್ಟು ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಓಟವನ್ನು ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಓಡೋಣ. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ ಸಂತೋಷಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಶಿಲುಬೆ ಯನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನು ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಾಡಿ ದೇವರ

3 For consider him who has endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, that you don't grow weary, fainting in your souls.ನೀವು ಮನಗುಂದಿದವರಾಗಿ ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳ ದಂತೆ ಆತನು ತಾನೇ ಪಾಪಿಗಳಿಂದ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ವಿರೋಧ ವನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡನೆಂಬದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿರಿ.

4 You have not yet resisted to blood, striving against sin;ನೀವು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡುವದರಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, "My son, don't take lightly the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when you are reproved by him;ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವಂತೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರೋ? ಏನಂದರೆ--ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಕರ್ತನ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ತಾತ್ಸಾರ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸುವಾಗ ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳ ಬೇಡ;

6 For whom the Lord loves, he chastens, And scourges every son whom he receives."ಕರ್ತನು ತಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವನನ್ನೇ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸು ತ್ತಾನೆ; ತಾನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬದು.

7 It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn't discipline?ನೀವು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ತಾಳಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪುತ್ರರೆಂದು ನಡಿಸು ತ್ತಾನೆ. ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಹೊಂದದ ಮಗನೆಲ್ಲಿ?

8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then are you illegitimate, and not children.ನೀವು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಹೊಂದುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಾಲುಗಾರ ರಾಗಿರದಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ಹಾದರದಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರೇ ಹೊರತು ಪುತ್ರರಲ್ಲ.

9 Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?ಇದು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದಂಥ ಶರೀರ ಸಂಬಂಧವಾದ ತಂದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿ ಸಿದೆವಷ್ಟೆ; ಆತ್ಮಗಳಿಗೆ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿರುವಾತನಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಒಳಪಟ್ಟು ಜೀವಿಸಬೇಕಲ್ಲವೇ?

10 For they indeed, for a few days, punished us as seemed good to them; but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.ಅವರು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೆಲವು ದಿವಸಗಳ ಪ್ರಯೋ ಜನವನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತೋರಿದಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು; ಆತನಾದರೋ ನಾವು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲುಗಾರರಾಗ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

11 All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised thereby.ಯಾವ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾದರೂ ತತ್ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂತೋಷಕರ ವಾಗಿ ತೋಚದೆ ಕ್ರೂರವಾಗಿ ತೋಚುತ್ತದೆ; ಆದರೂ ತರುವಾಯ ಅದು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಹೊಂದಿದವರಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ವುಳ್ಳ ನೀತಿಯ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ.

12 Therefore, lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,ಹೀಗಿರುವದ ರಿಂದ ಜೋಲು ಬಿದ್ದ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಲಹೀನವಾದ ಮೊಣಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೆಟ್ಟಗೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.

13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that which is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾದ ಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀಟಾದ ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಕುಂಟಕಾಲು ಉಳುಕಿ ಹೋಗದೆ ವಾಸಿಯಾಗುವದು.

14 Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,ಎಲ್ಲರ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದಿರುವದನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿರಿ; ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾವನೂ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

15 looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby the many be defiled;ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿ ಹೋಗ ದಂತೆಯೂ ಯಾವ ವಿಷವುಳ್ಳ ಬೇರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಗುರಿ ಕಳವಳ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಅದರಿಂದ ಅನೇಕರು ಅಶುದ್ಧರಾಗ ದಂತೆಯೂ

16 lest there be any sexually immoral person, or profane person, as Esau, who sold his birthright for one meal.ಯಾವ ಜಾರನಾಗಲಿ--ಏಸಾವನಂಥ ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕನಾಗಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇರದಂತೆಯೂ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ಯಿಂದ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಆ ಏಸಾವನು ಒಂದು ತುತ್ತನ್ನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲತನದ ಹಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಮಾರಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು;

17 For you know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for a change of mind though he sought it diligently with tears.ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು (ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ) ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಗವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನೆಂದು ನೀವು ಬಲ್ಲಿರಿ.

18 For you have not come to a mountain that might be touched, and that burned with fire, and to blackness, darkness, tempest,ಮುಟ್ಟಬಹುದಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹತ್ತಿದಂಥ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ ಮೊಬ್ಬಿಗೂ ಕತ್ತಲೆಗೂ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಗೂ

19 the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which those who heard it begged that not one more word should be spoken to them,ತುತೂರಿಯ ಧ್ವನಿಗೂ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಶಬ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಬಂದವರಲ್ಲ. ಆ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದವರು ತಮಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಮಾತನ್ನಾದರೂ ಹೇಳಬಾರದೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು;

20 for they could not stand that which was commanded, "If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned{TR adds "or shot with an arrow" [see Exodus 19:12-13]};"(ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಯಾವ ಮೃಗವಾ ದರೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದು ಕೊಲ್ಲ ಬೇಕು, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಈಟಿಯಿಂದ ತಿವಿಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ತಾಳಲಾರದೆ ಇದ್ದರು.

21 and so fearful was the appearance, that Moses said, "I am terrified and trembling."ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತೋರಿದ್ದು ಅಷ್ಟು ಭಯಂಕರವಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯು--ನನಗೆ ಬಹು ಭಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ನಡು ಗುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು).

22 But you have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable hosts of angels,ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಚೀಯೋನ್‌ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೂ ಜೀವಸ್ವರೂಪನಾದ ದೇವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾಗಿರುವ ಪರಲೋಕದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಎಣಿಸಲಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದ ದೂತ ಗಣಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೂ

23 to the general assembly and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,ಪರ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಸರು ಬರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಾರ್ವತ್ರಿಕ ಸಂಘಕ್ಕೂ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಭೆಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾ ಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಸಿದ್ದಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿರುವ ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಆತ್ಮಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೂ

24 to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.ಹೊಸಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಹೇಬೆಲನ ರಕ್ತಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹಿತಕರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಪ್ರೋಕ್ಷಣ ರಕ್ತದ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ.

25 See that you don't refuse him who speaks. For if they didn't escape when they refused him who warned on the Earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,ನೀವು ಮಾತನಾಡು ತ್ತಿರುವಾತನನ್ನು ಅಸಡ್ಡೆ ಮಾಡದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದವನನ್ನು ಅಸಡ್ಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ಪರ ಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಾತನಿಂದ ನಾವು ತೊಲಗಿ ದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ನಾವು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರೆವು.

26 whose voice shook the earth, then, but now he has promised, saying, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens."ಆತನ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ಆಗ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಕದಲಿಸಿತು; ಈಗಲಾದರೋ ಆತನು--ಇನ್ನೊಂದೇ ಸಾರಿ ನಾನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಪರಲೋಕವನ್ನೂ ಕದಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

27 This phrase, "Yet once more," signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದೇ ಸಾರಿ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತು ಕದಲಿ ಸಿರುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ನಿರ್ಮಿತವಾದವುಗಳಾದದರಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡ ಬೇಕೆಂಬದನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಆಗ ಕದಲಿಸದೆ ಇರುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವವು.

28 Therefore, receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,ಆದಕಾರಣ ಯಾರೂ ಕದಲಿಸಲಾರದ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವವರಾದ ನಾವು ವಿನಯದಿಂದಲೂ ದೇವರ ಭಯದಿಂದಲೂ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸೇವಿಸು ವಂತೆ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ.

29 for our God is a consuming fire.ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ದಹಿಸುವ ಅಗ್ನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
