Acts 12 - BBE (Kannada)

1 Now, about that time, Herod the king made cruel attacks on the Christians.ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹೆರೋದನು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಕೈ ಎತ್ತಿ

2 And he put James, the brother of John, to death with the sword.ಯೋಹಾನನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು.

3 And when he saw that this was pleasing to the Jews he went on to take Peter in addition. This was at the time of the feast of unleavened bread.ಇದು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಗೆಯಾಗಿರುವದನ್ನು ಅವನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಪೇತ್ರನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮುಂಗೊಂಡನು. (ಆಗ ಅವು ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ದಿವಸಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು).

4 And having taken him, he put him in prison, with four bands of armed men to keep watch over him; his purpose being to take him out to the people after the Passover.ಹೀಗೆ ಪಸ್ಕದ ತರುವಾಯ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ತರಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ದಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿಸಿದನು.ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಚತುಷ್ಟದ ಸೈನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.

5 So Peter was kept in prison: but the church made strong prayer to God for him.ಪೇತ್ರನು ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಸಭೆಯವರು ಅವನಿಗಾಗಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಎಡೆಬಿಡದೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

6 And when Herod was about to take him out, the same night Peter was sleeping in chains between two armed men, and the watchmen were keeping watch before the door of the prison.ಹೆರೋದನು ಪೇತ್ರನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತರಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದ ಅದೇ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಎರಡು ಸರಪಣಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸೈನಿಕರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿದ್ರೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು; ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರು ಬಾಗಿಲ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಯು ತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

7 And a great light was seen shining in the room, and an angel of the Lord came to Peter and, touching him on his side so that he came out of his sleep, said, Get up quickly. And his chains came off his hands.ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಪೇತ್ರನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನಿದ್ದ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕು ಹೊಳೆಯಿತು. ಅವನು ಪೇತ್ರನನ್ನು ಪಕ್ಕೆ ತಟ್ಟಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ--ತಟ್ಟನೆ ಏಳು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗಲೇ ಅವನ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ಸರಪಣಿಗಳು ಕಳಚಿಬಿದ್ದವು.

8 Then the angel said, Put on your shoes and get ready to go. And he did so. And he said, Put your coat round you and come with me.ಆ ದೂತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಡುಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆರಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಕೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಅವನು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆ ದೂತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲಂಗಿ ಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಾ ಅಂದನು.

9 And he went out after him; and he was not certain if what was done by the angel was a fact, for it seemed to him that he was seeing a vision.ಅವನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಆ ದೂತನ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ಅವನ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಂಗತಿ ನಿಜವಾದದ್ದೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ತಾನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದು ದರ್ಶನವೆಂದು ನೆನಸಿದನು.

10 And when they had gone past the first and second watchmen they came to the iron door into the town, which came open by itself: and they went out and down one street; and then the angel went away.ಅವನು ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಕಾವಲುಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅದು ತನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಾನೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೆರೆಯಿತು. ಅವರು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಒಂದು ಬೀದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದರು; ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆ ದೂತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು.

11 And when Peter came to his senses he said, Now, truly, I am certain that the Lord has sent his angel and taken me out of the hands of Herod, against all the hopes of the Jews.ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿ-- ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ದೂತನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಹೆರೋದನ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯ ಜನರು ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನೆಂದು ನನಗೀಗ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.

12 And when he became clear about this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John named Mark, where a number of them had come together for prayer.ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಯೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಮಾರ್ಕನೆನಿಸಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಯೋಹಾನನ ತಾಯಿಯಾದ ಮರಿಯಳ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಕೂಡಿಬಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

13 And he gave a blow on the door, and a young girl came to it, named Rhoda.ಪೇತ್ರನು ದ್ವಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ತಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ರೋದೆ ಎಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಹುಡುಗಿಯು ಕೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಳು.

14 And hearing the voice of Peter, in her joy she went running, without opening the door, to say that Peter was outside.ಅವಳು ಪೇತ್ರನ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಾಗ ಸಂತೋಷದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತದಿಂದಲೇ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯದೆ ಒಳಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ--ಪೇತ್ರನು ಬಾಗಿಲ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು.

15 And they said to her, You are off your head. But still she said, with decision, that it was so. And they said, It is his angel.ಅವರು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ನಿನಗೆ ಹುಚ್ಚು ಹಿಡಿದದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವಳು ತಾನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಅದೆ ಎಂದು ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು--ಅವನು ಪೇತ್ರನ ದೂತನು ಅಂದರು.

16 But Peter went on giving blows on the door: and when it was open and they saw him, they were full of wonder.ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಇನ್ನೂ ತಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾ ಇರಲು ಅವರು ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಬೆರಗಾದರು.

17 But he made a sign to them with his hand to be quiet, and gave them an account of how the Lord had taken him out of prison. And he said, Give the news to James and the brothers. And then he went away.ಅವನು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರ್ರಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೈಸನ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದ ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೂ ಸಹೋದರ ರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಸಿರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಬೇರೆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದನು.

18 Now when it was day, the armed men were greatly troubled about what had become of Peter.ಬೆಳಗಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಏನಾದ ನೆಂದು ಸೈನಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಕಳವಳ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.

19 And Herod, when he sent for him, and he was not there, after questioning the watchmen, gave orders that they were to be put to death. Then he went down from Judaea to Caesarea for a time.ಹೆರೋದನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿಸಿ ಅವನು ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲವಾದದರಿಂದ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮರಣ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಿದನು. ಬಳಿಕ ಅವನು ಯೂದಾಯದಿಂದ ಕೈಸರೈಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದನು.

20 Now he was very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon: and they came to him, all together, and having made friends with Blastus, the controller of the king's house, they made a request for peace, because their country was dependent on the king's country for its food.ತೂರ್‌ ಸೀದೋನ್‌ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೆರೋದನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕೋಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಒಮ್ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅರಸನ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲಣ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಬ್ಲಾಸ್ತನನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅರಸನು ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಪಟ್ಟರು. ಯಾ

21 And on the day which had been fixed, Herod, dressed in his robes and seated in his place, made a public statement to them.ಗೊತ್ತು ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಂದು ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆರೋದನು ರಾಜವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದವನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಿ ದನು.

22 And the people, with loud cries, said, It is the voice of a god, not of a man.ಆಗ ಜನರು--ಇದು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಸ್ವರವಲ್ಲ , ದೇವರ ಸ್ವರವೇ ಎಂದು ಅರ್ಭಟಿಸಿದರು.

23 And straight away the angel of the Lord sent a disease on him, because he did not give the glory to God: and his flesh was wasted away by worms, and so he came to his end.ಅವನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸದೆ ಹೋದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಆ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲೇ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದನು; ಆಗ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹುಳಗಳು ತಿಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಪ್ರಾಣ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

24 But the word of the Lord went on increasing.ಆದರೆ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಹಬ್ಬಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾ ಬಂತು.

25 And Barnabas and Saul came back from Jerusalem, when their work was ended, taking with them John named Mark.ಬಾರ್ನಬ ಸೌಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವೆ ತೀರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಮಾರ್ಕನೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಯೋಹಾನ ನನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದರು.
