6 ಆಗ ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎರಡನೇ ಸಾರಿ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಬರೆದು--ನೀವು ನನ್ನವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳುವ ವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗಿರುವ ಮನು ಷ್ಯರ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ನಾಳೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪ್ರಮುಖರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು.
7 ಈ ಪತ್ರವು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಅವರು ಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಅವರ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪುಟ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯೇಹುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
8 ಆಗ ಆ ಸೇವಕರು ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿ ದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ಉದಯ ಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೂ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಕುಪ್ಪೆಗಳಾಗಿ ಹಾಕಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
9 ಉದಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತೆಂದರೆ, ಅವನು ಹೊರಟು ನಿಂತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ -- ನೀವು ನೀತಿವಂತರು; ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದೆನು.
10 ಆದರೆ ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದವರಾರು? ಕರ್ತನು ಅಹಾ ಬನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತು ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಎಲೀಯನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
11 ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯೇಹುವು ಅಹಾಬನಿಗೆ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಯಗೊಡಿಸದೆ ಇರುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ನೆಂಟರನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು.
6 Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master’s sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the king’s sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, which brought them up.
7 And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king’s sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him them to Jezreel.
8 And there came a messenger, and told him, saying, They have brought the heads of the king’s sons. And he said, Lay ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning.
9 And it came to pass in the morning, that he went out, and stood, and said to all the people, Ye be righteous: behold, I conspired against my master, and slew him: but who slew all these?
10 Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the Lord, which the Lord spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the Lord hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah.
11 So Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolks, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.

And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king’s sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him them to Jezreel.
8 ಆಗ ಆ ಸೇವಕರು ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿ ದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ಉದಯ ಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೂ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಕುಪ್ಪೆಗಳಾಗಿ ಹಾಕಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

9 ಉದಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತೆಂದರೆ, ಅವನು ಹೊರಟು ನಿಂತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ -- ನೀವು ನೀತಿವಂತರು; ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದೆನು.
And it came to pass in the morning, that he went out, and stood, and said to all the people, Ye be righteous: behold, I conspired against my master, and slew him: but who slew all these?
10 ಆದರೆ ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದವರಾರು? ಕರ್ತನು ಅಹಾ ಬನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಾತು ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಎಲೀಯನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the Lord, which the Lord spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the Lord hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah.
11 ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯೇಹುವು ಅಹಾಬನಿಗೆ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಯಗೊಡಿಸದೆ ಇರುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ನೆಂಟರನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು.
So Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolks, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.
