ಹೀಗೆ ಯೆಪ್ತಾಹನು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರೆದುರಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದನು. ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
