Judges 1:9
ತರುವಾಯ ಯೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾಸಿಸಿದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.

| against the Canaanites, | בַּֽכְּנַעֲנִ֑י | bakkĕnaʿănî | ba-keh-na-uh-NEE |
| dwelt that | יוֹשֵׁ֣ב | yôšēb | yoh-SHAVE |
| in the mountain, | הָהָ֔ר | hāhār | ha-HAHR |
| south, the in and | וְהַנֶּ֖גֶב | wĕhannegeb | veh-ha-NEH-ɡev |
| and in the valley. | וְהַשְּׁפֵלָֽה׃ | wĕhaššĕpēlâ | veh-ha-sheh-fay-LA |
