ಆದರೆ ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಪಾಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಯಾಜಕತ್ವವೇ ಅವರ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಗಾದನೂ ರೂಬೇನನೂ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಅರ್ಧ ಗೋತ್ರವೂ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆ ಮೂಡಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂದನು.

ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೂ ಆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಲೇವಿಯ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಂಗಡ ಪಾಲೂ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವೂ ಇರಬಾರದು; ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು.

ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರ ಸಂಗಡ ಪಾಲೂ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವೂ ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವನ ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ಕರ್ತನೇ ಅವನ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವು.
