John 6 - KJV (Kannada)

1 After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.ಇವುಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ತಿಬೇರಿ ಯವೆಂಬ ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಆಚೆಗೆ ಹೋದನು.

2 And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.ಆಗ ಆತನು ರೋಗಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡಿಸಿದ ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ಜನರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

3 And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.ಯೇಸು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನೇರಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡನು.

4 And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಪಸ್ಕ ಹಬ್ಬವು ಸವಿಾಪವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

5 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?ಜನರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಂಪು ತನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬರುವದನ್ನು ಯೇಸು ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಿ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪ ನಿಗೆ--ಇವರು ಊಟ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ನಾವು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕೊಂಡು ತರೋಣ ಅಂದನು.

6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.ಅವ ನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆತನು ಇದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ತಾನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದದ್ದು ಆತನು ತಾನೇ ತಿಳಿದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ವಾಗಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ತಿಂದರೂ ಇನ್ನೂರು ಹಣಗಳಷ್ಟು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳು ಅವ ರಿಗೆ ಸಾಲುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him,ಆಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾಗಿರುವ ಸೀಮೋನ್‌ ಪೇತ್ರನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಂದ್ರೆಯನು ಆತನಿಗೆ--

9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಹುಡುಗನಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ಜವೆಗೋದಿಯ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳೂ ಎರಡು ಸಣ್ಣ ವಿಾನುಗಳೂ ಅವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಅವು ಯಾತಕ್ಕಾದಾವು ಅಂದನು.

10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.ಆಗ ಯೇಸು--ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೂಡ್ರಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆ ಸ್ಥಳ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಹುಲ್ಲು ಇರಲಾಗಿ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರು ಕುಳಿತು ಕೊಂಡರು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಐದು ಸಾವಿರ ಪುರುಷರೇ ಇದ್ದರು.

11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.ತರುವಾಯ ಯೇಸು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮಾಡಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿದನು; ಅವರು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡವರಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿ ದರು; ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು ಹಂಚಿದರು.

12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ--ಏನೂ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗ ದಂತೆ ಮಿಕ್ಕಿದ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಐದು ಜವೆಗೋದಿಯ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಂದವರಿಂದ ಮಿಕ್ಕಿದ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಪುಟ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿದರು.

14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.ಬಳಿಕ ಆ ಜನರು ಯೇಸು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಈತನೇ ಅಂದರು.

15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಬಂದು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯ ದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡ ಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಯೇಸು ತಿಳಿದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ತಾನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಒಂಟಿಗನಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದನು.

16 And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲವಾದಾಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ

17 And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಸಮುದ್ರಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿ ದ್ದರು. ಆಗಲೇ ಕತ್ತಲಾಗಿತ್ತು , ಯೇಸು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

18 And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.ಆಗ ಬಲವಾದ ಗಾಳಿಯು ಬೀಸಿದ್ದ ರಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರವು ಅಲ್ಲಕಲ್ಲೋಲವಾಯಿತು.

19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಹುಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾ ಒಂದು ಹರದಾರಿಯಷ್ಟು ದೂರ ಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆದು ತಮ್ಮ ದೋಣಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸವಿಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಿರು ವದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕಂಡು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನೇ, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

21 Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.ಆಗ ಅವರು ಮನಃಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ದೋಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಕೂಡಲೆ ದೋಣಿಯು ಅವರು ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದ ದಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿತು.

22 The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಹತ್ತಿದ ಒಂದೇ ದೋಣಿಯ ಹೊರತು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೋದರೆಂದೂ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ದೋಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ಮರು ದಿನ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಆಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದ ಜನರು ನೋಡಿ ದ್ದರು.

23 (Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)(ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಕರ್ತನು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಂತರ ಅವರು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ತಿಬೇರಿಯದಿಂದ ಬೇರೆ ದೋಣಿಗಳು ಬಂದವು).

24 When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವದನ್ನು ಜನರು ನೋಡಿ ಅವರು ಸಹ ದೋಣಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತಿ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾ ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.

25 And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಸಮು ದ್ರದ ಆಚೇಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ರಬ್ಬಿಯೇ, ನೀನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಯಾವಾಗ ಬಂದಿ ಅಂದರು.

26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜನಿಜ ವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವದು ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ತೃಪ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ.

27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.ನಾಶವಾಗುವ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವ ವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುವ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ದುಡಿಯಿರಿ; ಅದನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವನು; ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವರು (ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ) ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮುದ್ರೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?ಆಗ ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ದೇವರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ದೇವರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಯಾವದಂದರೆ, ಆತನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಾತನನ್ನು ನೀವು ನಂಬುವದೇ ಅಂದನು.

30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನಾವು ನೋಡಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಂಬುವಂತೆ ಯಾವ ಸೂಚಕ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೀ? ನೀನು ಯಾವ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀ?

31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು ಎಂದು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಅಡವಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನ್ನಾ ತಿಂದರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಮೋಶೆಯು ನಿಮಗೆ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಕೊಡು ತ್ತಾನೆ.

33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವಾತನೇ ದೇವರ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.ಅದಕ್ಕವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಈ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕೊಡು ಅಂದರು.

35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನೇ ಆ ಜೀವದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ; ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವವನಿಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಹಸಿವೆಯಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಡುವವನಿಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನೀರಡಿಕೆಯಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.ಆದರೆ--ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಯೂ ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.

37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.ತಂದೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವಂಥವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರು ವರು; ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವವನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾತನ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಬಂದೆನು.

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ತಂದೆಯ ಚಿತ್ತವೇನಂದರೆ, ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟವರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನೂ ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಕಡೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವದೇ.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸದಾತನ ಚಿತ್ತವೇನಂದರೆ, ಮಗನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ನಿತ್ಯ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವದೇ; ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಡೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ನಾನೇ ಎಂದು ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಆತನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿ--

42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?ಇವನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಅಲ್ಲವೇ? ಇವನ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಬಲ್ಲೆವಲ್ಲವೇ? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ--ನಾನು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದೆನು ಎಂದು ಇವನು ಹೇಳುವದು ಹೇಗೆ ಅಂದರು.

43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟ ಬೇಡಿರಿ.

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ತಂದೆಯು ಎಳೆಯದ ಹೊರತು ಯಾವನೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲಾರನು. ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಡೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವೆನು.

45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ದೇವರಿಂದ ಬೋಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವರೆಂದು ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಆದಕಾರಣ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿ ಕಲಿತ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ.

46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ವನೇ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವನೂ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ--ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಡುವವನು ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

48 I am that bread of life.ನಾನೇ ಆ ಜೀವದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನ್ನಾ ತಿಂದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಸತ್ತು ಹೋದರು.

50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತಿಂದು ಸಾಯದೇ ಇರು ವಂತೆ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಇದೇ.

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದುಬಂದ ಜೀವದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯು ನಾನೇ; ಈ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ತಿಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಬದುಕುವನು; ನಾನು ಕೊಡುವ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯು ನನ್ನ ಮಾಂಸವೇ; ಅದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಲೋಕದ ಜೀವಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?ಇದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ವಾಗ್ವಾದ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ--ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಮಾಂಸ ವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದರು.

53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನೀವು ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಆತನ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯದ ಹೊರತು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಜೀವವಿಲ್ಲ.

54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.ಯಾವನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅವನು ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಾನು ಅವ ನನ್ನು ಕಡೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವೆನು.

55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಾಂಸವು ನಿಜವಾದ ಆಹಾರವೂ ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ತವು ನಿಜವಾದ ಪಾನವೂ ಆಗಿದೆ.

56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.ಯಾವನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅವನು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನಾನು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿ ಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ತಂದೆಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ರಲಾಗಿ ನಾನು ತಂದೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಜೀವಿಸುವಂತೆಯೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವವನು ನನ್ನ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿಯೇ ಜೀವಿ ಸುವನು.

58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯು ಇದೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಮನ್ನಾ ತಿಂದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದಂತೆ ಅಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಈ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವವನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಜೀವಿಸುವನು ಅಂದನು.

59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಸಭಾ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?ಆದದರಿಂದ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ--ಇದು ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ಮಾತು; ಇದನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಕೇಳಾರು ಅಂದರು.

61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೂ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಗುಣು ಗುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾರೆಂದು ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಇದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಭ್ಯಂತರವಾಯಿತೋ?

62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ತಾನು ಮೊದಲು ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಏರಿಹೋಗುವದನ್ನು ನೀವು ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಏನನ್ನುವಿರಿ?

63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.ಬದುಕಿಸುವಂಥದ್ದು ಆತ್ಮವೇ; ಮಾಂಸವು ಯಾವದಕ್ಕೂ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳೇ ಆತ್ಮವಾಗಿಯೂ ಜೀವವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇವೆ.

64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.ಆದರೆ ನಂಬದವರು ಕೆಲವರು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಂಬದವರು ಯಾರೆಂದೂ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಡು ವವನು ಯಾರೆಂದೂ ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಯೇಸು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದನು.

65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.ಆತನು--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹೊರತು ಯಾವನೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರ ಲಾರನು; ಇದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು ಅಂದನು.

66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಅವರು ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಸಂಚರಿಸಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಹನ್ನೆ ರಡು ಮಂದಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಸಹ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂ ದಿದ್ದೀರೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು

68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.ಸೀಮೋನ್‌ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾವು ಯಾರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ? ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವದ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳು ಉಂಟಲ್ಲಾ.

69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.ನೀನು ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರಮಗನಾದ ಆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೆಂದು ನಾವು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ನಂಬಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಅಂದನು.

70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವ ರಿಗೆ--ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿಯಾದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾನು ಆರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡೆನಲ್ಲವೇ? ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಸೈತಾನನಾ ಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.ಸೀಮೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಸ್ಕರಿಯೋತ್‌ ಯೂದನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿ ದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದ ಇವನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದನು.
