John 19 - BBE (Kannada)

1 Then Pilate took Jesus and had him whipped with cords.ಆಗ ಪಿಲಾತನು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೊರಡೆ ಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡಿಸಿದನು.

2 And the men of the army made a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and they put a purple robe on him.ಸೈನಿಕರು ಮುಳ್ಳಿನ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ಹೆಣೆದು ಆತನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಊದಾ ಬಣ್ಣದ ನಿಲುವಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ತೊಡಿಸಿ--

3 And they kept coming and saying, Long life to the King of the Jews! And they gave him blows with their hands.ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನೇ, ವಂದನೆ! ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದರು.

4 And Pilate went out again and said to them, See, I let him come out to you to make it clear to you that I see no wrong in him.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಪಿಲಾತನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ತರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

5 Then Jesus came out with the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, Here is the man!ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಮುಳ್ಳಿನ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಊದಾಬಣ್ಣದ ನಿಲುವಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಲು ಪಿಲಾತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು! ಅಂದನು.

6 So when the chief priests and the police saw him they gave a loud cry, To the cross! to the cross! Pilate said to them, Take him yourselves and put him on the cross: I see no crime in him.ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ--ಅವನನ್ನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿಸು, ಅವ ನನ್ನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿಸು ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪಿಲಾತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೀವೇ ಆತನನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

7 And the Jews made answer, We have a law, and by that law it is right for him to be put to death because he said he was the Son of God.ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಆ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವನು ಸಾಯಲೇಬೇಕು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ದೇವರಮಗನೆಂದು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದರು.

8 When this saying came to Pilate's ears his fear became greater;ಪಿಲಾತನು ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟನು.

9 And he went again into the Praetorium and said to Jesus, Where do you come from? But Jesus gave him no answer.ತಿರಿಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂದವನು ಎಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

10 Then Pilate said to him, You say nothing to me? is it not clear to you that I have power to let you go free and power to put you to death on the cross?ಆಗ ಪಿಲಾತನು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತ ನಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನನಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವು ಉಂಟೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

11 Jesus gave this answer: You would have no power at all over me if it was not given to you by God; so that he who gave me up to you has the greater sin.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು--ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಯಾವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವೂ ಇರುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದಕಾರಣ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದವನಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಪಾಪ ಉಂಟು ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

12 Hearing this, Pilate had a desire to let him go free, but the Jews said in a loud voice, If you let this man go, you are not Caesar's friend: everyone who makes himself a king goes against Caesar.ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಪಿಲಾತನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಪಟ್ಟನು. ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು--ನೀನು ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಹೋಗಗೊಡಿಸಿದರೆ ಕೈಸರನಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನಲ್ಲ; ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ವವನು ಕೈಸರನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

13 So when these words came to Pilate's ear, he took Jesus out, seating himself in the judge's seat in a place named in Hebrew, Gabbatha, or the Stone Floor.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಪಿಲಾತನು ಆ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಕರ ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗಬ್ಬಥಾ ಎನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕಲ್ಲು ಹಾಸಿದ ಕಟ್ಟೆ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡನು.

14 (It was the day when they made ready for the Passover; and it was about the sixth hour.) And he said to the Jews, There is your King!ಅದು ಪಸ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಆರನೇ ತಾಸಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಅವನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅರಸನು ಅಂದನು.

15 Then they gave a loud cry, Away with him! away with him! to the cross! Pilate said to them, Am I to put your King to death on the cross? The chief priests said in answer, We have no king but Caesar.ಆದರೆ ಅವರು--ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕು, ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕು, ಅವನನ್ನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕು ಅಂದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪಿಲಾತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಲೋ ಅಂದಾಗ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರು--ಕೈಸರನೇ ಹೊರತು ನಮಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ಅರಸನಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

16 So then he gave him up to them to be put to death on the cross. And they took Jesus away;ಆಗ ಅವನು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಸಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು.

17 And he went out with his cross on him to the place which is named Dead Man's Head (in Hebrew, Golgotha):ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಲುಬೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಕಪಾಲವೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು. ಅದು ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೊಲ್ಗೊಥಾ (ಬುರುಡೆಗಳ ಸ್ಥಳ) ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.

18 Where they put him on the cross with two others, one on this side and one on that, and Jesus in the middle.ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಅಂದರೆ ಆ ಕಡೆಗೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನೂ ಈ ಕಡೆಗೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನೂ ಇರಿಸಿ ಆತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.

19 And Pilate put on the cross a statement in writing. The writing was: JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪಿಲಾತನು ಒಂದು ಶಿರೋನಾಮವನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಿದನು. ಆ ಬರಹವು ಏನಂದರೆ--ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ನಜರೇತಿನ ಯೇಸು ಎಂಬದೇ.

20 The writing was seen by a number of the Jews, for the place where Jesus was put to death on the cross was near the town; and the writing was in Hebrew and Latin and Greek.ಈ ಶಿರೋನಾಮ ವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಓದಿದರು. ಯೇಸು ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸವಿಾಪವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದು ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ಗ್ರೀಕ್‌ ಮತ್ತು ಲ್ಯಾಟಿನ್‌ ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು.

21 Then the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, Do not put, The King of the Jews, but, He said, I am the King of the Jews.ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರು ಪಿಲಾತನಿಗೆ-- ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನೆಂದು ಬರೆಯಬೇಡ; ಆದರೆ--ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿದನು ಎಂದು ಬರೆ ಅಂದರು.

22 But Pilate made answer, What I have put in writing will not be changed.ಪಿಲಾತನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ನಾನು ಬರೆದದ್ದು ಬರೆದಾಯಿತು ಅಂದನು.

23 And when Jesus was nailed to the cross, the men of the army took his clothing, and made a division of it into four parts, to every man a part, and they took his coat: now the coat was without a join, made out of one bit of cloth.ಸೈನಿಕರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಸೈನಿಕ ನಿಗೆ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಭಾಗದಂತೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಆತನ ಮೇಲಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡರು; ಆದರೆ ಆ ಅಂಗಿಯು ಹೊಲಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಉದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ನೇಯ್ದದ್ದಾಗಿತ್ತು.

24 So they said among themselves, Let this not be cut up, but let us put it to the decision of chance and see who gets it. (They did this so that the Writings might come true, which say, They made a distribution of my clothing among them, and my coat they put to the decision of chance.) This was what the men of the army did.ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ಅವರು--ನಾವು ಅದನ್ನು ಹರಿಯುವದು ಬೇಡ; ಆದರೆ ಅದು ಯಾರಿಗಾಗುವದೋ ಎಂದು ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಚೀಟು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಹೀಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಪಾಲುಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡರು; ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲಂಗಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಚೀಟು ಹಾಕಿ ದರ

25 Now by the side of the cross of Jesus were his mother, and his mother's sister Mary, the wife of Cleopas, and Mary Magdalene.ಆಗ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಶಿಲುಬೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ತಾಯಿಯೂ ಆತನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಸಹೋದರಿಯೂ ಕ್ಲೋಫನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಮರಿಯಳೂ ಮಗ್ದಲದ ಮರಿಯಳೂ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರು.

26 So when Jesus saw his mother and the disciple who was dear to him, he said to his mother, Mother, there is your son!ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಮತ್ತು ತಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ ಶಿಷ್ಯನು ಹತ್ತಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವದನ್ನು ಯೇಸು ನೋಡಿ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ--ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯೇ, ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನು ಅಂದನು.

27 Then he said to the disciple, There is your mother! And from that hour the disciple took her to his house.ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಆ ಶಿಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಅಂದನು. ಆ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಆ ಶಿಷ್ಯನು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.

28 After this, being conscious that all things had now been done so that the Writings might come true, Jesus said, Give me water.ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ಆಗ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಪೂರೈಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬರಹವು ನೆರವೇರು ವಂತೆ--ನನಗೆ ನೀರಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದನು.

29 Now there was a vessel ready, full of bitter wine, and they put a sponge full of it on a stick and put it to his mouth.ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳಿರಸ ತುಂಬಿದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಿತ್ತು; ಅವರು ಸ್ಪಂಜನ್ನು ಹುಳಿರಸದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸಿ ಹಿಸ್ಸೋಪಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಸಿ ಆತನ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು.

30 So when Jesus had taken the wine he said, All is done. And with his head bent he gave up his spirit.ಯೇಸು ಆ ಹುಳಿರಸವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ--ತೀರಿತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಬಾಗಿಸಿ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

31 Now it was the day of getting ready for the Passover, and so that the bodies might not be on the cross on the Sabbath (because the day of that Sabbath was a great day), the Jews made a request to Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.ಅದು ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಯ ದಿನವಾದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಹಗಳು ಶಿಲುಬೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಬಾರ ದೆಂದು ಅವರ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು ಅವರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಪಿಲಾತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. (ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ದಿನವು ವಿಶೇಷವಾದ ದಿನವಾಗಿತ್ತು).

32 So the men of the army came, and the legs of the first were broken and then of the other who was put to death on the cross with Jesus:ಆಗ ಸೈನಿಕರು ಬಂದು ಆತನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮುರಿದರು.

33 But when they came to Jesus, they saw that he was dead by this time, and so his legs were not broken;ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಆತನು ಆಗಲೇ ಸತ್ತಿರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಆತನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿ ಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.

34 But one of the men made a wound in his side with a spear, and straight away there came out blood and water.ಆದರೆ ಸೈನಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಈಟಿಯಿಂದ ಆತನ ಪಕ್ಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಿವಿದನು; ಕೂಡಲೆ ರಕ್ತವೂ ನೀರೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂತು.

35 And he who saw it has given witness (and his witness is true; he is certain that what he says is true) so that you may have belief.ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದವನೇ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವನ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ಸತ್ಯವೇ; ನೀವು ನಂಬುವಂತೆ ಅವನು ಹೇಳುವದು ಸತ್ಯವೆಂದು ಅವನು ಬಲ್ಲನು.

36 These things came about so that the Writings might be true, No bone of his body will be broken.ಯಾಕಂದರೆ--ಆತನ ಒಂದು ಎಲುಬಾದರೂ ಮುರಿಯಲ್ಪಡಬಾರದು ಎಂಬ ಬರಹವು ನೆರವೇರುವಂತೆ ಇವುಗಳು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದವು.

37 And again another verse says, They will see him who was wounded by their spears.ತಿರಿಗಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಬರಹವು--ಅವರು ತಾವು ಇರಿದವನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ.

38 After these things, Joseph of Arimathaea, who was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, made a request to Pilate to let him take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate said he might do so. So he went and took away his body.ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಭಯದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ದಿಂದ ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಶಿಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅರಿಮಥಾ ಯದ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ತಾನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಪಿಲಾತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಂಡನು. ಆಗ ಪಿಲಾತನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡಲು ಅವನು ಬಂದು ಆತನ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು

39 And Nicodemus came (he who had first come to Jesus by night) with a roll of myrrh and aloes mixed, about a hundred pounds.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೊದಲು ಒಂದು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ನಿಕೊದೇಮನು ಸಹ ಬೆರಸಿದ ರಕ್ತಬೋಳ ಅಗರುಗಳನ್ನು ನೂರು ಸೇರು ತೂಕದಷ್ಟು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು.

40 Then they took the body of Jesus, folding linen about it with the spices, as is the way of the Jews when they put the dead to rest.ಆಗ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಡುವ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅದನ್ನು ಸುಗಂಧದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾರು ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತಿದರು.

41 Now there was a garden near the cross, and in the garden a new place for the dead in which no man had ever been put.ಆತನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ತೋಟವಿತ್ತು; ಆ ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಇಡದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಒಂದು ಸಮಾಧಿಯು ಇತ್ತು.

42 So they put Jesus there, because it was the Jews' day of getting ready for the Passover, and the place was near.ಆ ದಿನವು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಯ ದಿನವಾದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟರು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆ ಸಮಾಧಿಯು ಸವಿಾಪದಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು.
