John 12
9 ಆದಕಾರಣ ಯೇಸು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ತಿಳಿದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ ಲಾಜರನನ್ನೂ ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದರು.
10 ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕರು ಲಾಜರನನ್ನು ಸಹ ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
11 ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅನೇಕ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟರು.
12 ಮರುದಿನ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ಯೇಸು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ
13 ಖರ್ಜೂರದ ಗರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಆತನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಹೊಸನ್ನ, ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿದರು.
14 ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡನು;
15 ಹೀಗೆ--ಚೀಯೋನ್ಕುಮಾ ರಿಯೇ, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ; ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅರಸನು ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಕತ್ತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.
16 ಇವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಮೊದಲು ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದಿದಾಗ ಇವು ಆತನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆಯೆಂದೂ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆಂದೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.
9 Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
10 But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;
11 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.
12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass’s colt.
16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

12 ಮರುದಿನ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ಯೇಸು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ
On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13 ಖರ್ಜೂರದ ಗರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಆತನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಹೊಸನ್ನ, ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿದರು.
Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
14 ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡನು;
And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
15 ಹೀಗೆ--ಚೀಯೋನ್ಕುಮಾ ರಿಯೇ, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ; ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅರಸನು ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಕತ್ತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.
Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass’s colt.
16 ಇವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಮೊದಲು ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದಿದಾಗ ಇವು ಆತನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆಯೆಂದೂ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆಂದೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.
