John 11
1 ಮರಿಯಳ ಮತ್ತು ಆಕೆಯ ಸಹೋದರಿ ಯಾದ ಮಾರ್ಥಳ ಊರಾದ ಬೇಥಾನ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಾಜರನೆಂಬವನೊಬ್ಬನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
2 (ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ತೈಲವನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿ ತನ್ನ ತಲೇಕೂದಲಿನಿಂದ ಆತನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಒರಸಿದ ಈ ಮರಿಯಳ ಸಹೋ ದರನಾದ ಲಾಜರನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದನು).
3 ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವವನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
4 ಯೇಸು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ--ಈ ರೋಗವು ಮರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ದೇವಕುಮಾರನು ಅದರಿಂದ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಬಂದದ್ದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
5 ಮಾರ್ಥಳನ್ನೂ ಅವಳ ಸಹೋದರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಲಾಜರನನ್ನೂ ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸು ತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
6 ಅವನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಆತನು ಕೇಳಿ ದರೂ ಎರಡು ದಿವಸ ತಾನಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಉಳಿದನು.
7 ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಯೂದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ ಅಂದನು.
8 ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ಆಗಲೇ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿ ದ್ದರಲ್ಲಾ; ತಿರಿಗಿ ನೀನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀಯೋ? ಅಂದರು.
9 ಯೇಸು--ಹಗಲಿಗೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ತಾಸುಗಳು ಇವೆಯಲ್ಲವೇ? ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೂ ಹಗಲಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಾಡಿದರೆ ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ನೋಡು ವದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಎಡವುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
10 ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಾಡಿದರೆ ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕು ಇಲ್ಲವಾದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಎಡವುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
11 ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನಾದ ಲಾಜರನು ನಿದ್ರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಿದ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವದಾಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
12 ಆಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಅವನು ನಿದ್ರೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗುವನು ಅಂದರು.
13 ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನ ಮರಣದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನಿದ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಕುರಿತು ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿದ ನೆಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸಿದರು.
14 ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಲಾಜರನು ಸತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
15 ನೀವು ನಂಬು ವಂತೆ ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಹೇಗೂ ನಾವು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
16 ತರು ವಾಯ ದಿದುಮನೆಂಬ ತೋಮನು ತನ್ನ ಜೊತೆ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಸಹ ಆತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಾಯುವಂತೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ ಅಂದನು.
1 Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
2 (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.
4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.
6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
7 Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.
8 His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?
9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.
15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
16 Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellowdisciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.

1 ಮರಿಯಳ ಮತ್ತು ಆಕೆಯ ಸಹೋದರಿ ಯಾದ ಮಾರ್ಥಳ ಊರಾದ ಬೇಥಾನ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಾಜರನೆಂಬವನೊಬ್ಬನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.

3 ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವವನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.
4 ಯೇಸು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ--ಈ ರೋಗವು ಮರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ದೇವಕುಮಾರನು ಅದರಿಂದ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಬಂದದ್ದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
5 ಮಾರ್ಥಳನ್ನೂ ಅವಳ ಸಹೋದರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಲಾಜರನನ್ನೂ ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸು ತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.
6 ಅವನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಆತನು ಕೇಳಿ ದರೂ ಎರಡು ದಿವಸ ತಾನಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಉಳಿದನು.
When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
7 ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಯೂದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ ಅಂದನು.
Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.
8 ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ಆಗಲೇ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿ ದ್ದರಲ್ಲಾ; ತಿರಿಗಿ ನೀನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀಯೋ? ಅಂದರು.
His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?
9 ಯೇಸು--ಹಗಲಿಗೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ತಾಸುಗಳು ಇವೆಯಲ್ಲವೇ? ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೂ ಹಗಲಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಾಡಿದರೆ ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ನೋಡು ವದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಎಡವುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
10 ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಾಡಿದರೆ ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕು ಇಲ್ಲವಾದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಎಡವುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
11 ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನಾದ ಲಾಜರನು ನಿದ್ರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಿದ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವದಾಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
12 ಆಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಅವನು ನಿದ್ರೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗುವನು ಅಂದರು.
Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
13 ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವನ ಮರಣದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನಿದ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಕುರಿತು ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿದ ನೆಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸಿದರು.
Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
14 ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಲಾಜರನು ಸತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.
15 ನೀವು ನಂಬು ವಂತೆ ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಹೇಗೂ ನಾವು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
16 ತರು ವಾಯ ದಿದುಮನೆಂಬ ತೋಮನು ತನ್ನ ಜೊತೆ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಸಹ ಆತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಾಯುವಂತೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ ಅಂದನು.
Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellowdisciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.
