Jeremiah 4 - DBY (Kannada)

1 If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith Jehovah, return unto me; and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not be a wanderer;ಓ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ನೀನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೋ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಸಹ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಸಿದರೆ ಕದಲದೆ ಇರುವಿ.

2 -- and thou shalt in truth, in justice, and in righteousness swear, [As] Jehovah liveth! and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.ನೀನು ಸತ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ನ್ಯಾಯದಿಂದಲೂ ನೀತಿ ಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡುವಿ; ಆಗ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವು; ಮತ್ತು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವು.

3 For thus saith Jehovah to the men of Judah and Jerusalem: Break up for you a fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.ಕರ್ತನು ಯೆಹೂದದವರಿಗೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನವರಿಗೂ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಂಜರು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿರಿ; ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಜ ಬಿತ್ತಬೇಡಿರಿ.

4 Circumcise yourselves for Jehovah, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; lest my fury come forth like fire and burn, and there be none to quench it, because of the evil of your doings.ಕರ್ತನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳ ಮುಂದೊಗಲನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿರಿ; ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವು ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಯಾರೂ ಆರಿಸ ಕೂಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಉರಿಯುವದು.

5 Declare ye in Judah, and cause it to be heard in Jerusalem, and say, ... and blow the trumpet in the land, cry aloud and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the fenced cities.ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಚಾರಪಡಿಸಿರಿ, ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿರಿ, ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತುತೂರಿ ಊದಿ ರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿರಿ; ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೂಗಿರಿ; ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಕೋಟೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸೋಣ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರಿ.

6 Set up a banner toward Zion; take to flight, stay not! For I am bringing evil from the north, and a great destruction.ಚೀಯೋನಿನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿರಿ; ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ, ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನಾನು ಉತ್ತರದಿಂದ ಕೇಡನ್ನೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಾಶನವನ್ನೂ ತರುತ್ತೇನೆ.

7 The lion is come up from his thicket, the destroyer of the nations is on his way; he is gone forth from his place, to make thy land desolate; thy cities shall be laid waste, without inhabitant.ಸಿಂಹವು ತನ್ನ ಅಡವಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಏರಿ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ, ಅನ್ಯ ಜನಾಂಗ ಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವವನು ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ನಿವಾಸಿ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಪಾಳು ಬೀಳುವದು.

8 For this, gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl! for the fierce anger of Jehovah is not turned away from us.ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಗೋಣಿತಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿಸಿರಿ, ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ; ಕರ್ತನ ಕೋಪದ ಉರಿಯು ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall be amazed.ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಅರಸನ ಹೃದಯವೂ ಸಾಮಂ ತರ ಹೃದಯವೂ ಹಾಳಾಗುವದು. ಯಾಜಕರು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಡುವರು; ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಭ್ರಮೆಗೊಳ್ಳು ವರು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.

10 And I said, Alas, Lord Jehovah! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.ಆಗ ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಹಾ! ಕರ್ತನೇ, ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯ ವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಈ ಜನರಿಗೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ-- ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗುವದೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಬಹಳ ಮೋಸಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀ; ಕತ್ತಿಯು ಪ್ರಾಣದ ವರೆಗೂ ತಾಕುತ್ತ ದಲ್ಲವೋ?

11 At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A hot wind [cometh] from the heights in the wilderness, on the way of the daughter of my people, not for fanning, nor for cleansing.ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಜನರಿಗೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಡುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಒಣ ಗಾಳಿಯು ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಕುಮಾರಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದು ತೂರುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಆಗತಕ್ಕದ್ದಲ್ಲ.

12 A wind more vehement than that shall come from me: now will I also pronounce judgments against them.ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ತುಂಬ ಗಾಳಿ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವದು; ಈಗಲೂ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು.

13 Behold, he cometh up as clouds, and his chariots are as a whirlwind; his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are destroyed.ಇಗೋ, ಮೇಘಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಏರಿ ಬರುವನು; ಆತನ ರಥಗಳು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುವವು, ಆತನ ಕುದುರೆಗಳು ಹದ್ದುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿವೆ. ನಮಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಹಾಳಾದೆವು.

14 Wash thy heart, Jerusalem, from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ನೀನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದಿಂದ ತೊಳೆದುಕೋ; ನಿನ್ನ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ಎಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗುವವು?

15 For a voice declareth from Dan, and publisheth affliction from mount Ephraim.ಒಂದು ಶಬ್ದವು ದಾನಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಕಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮಿನ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಆಪತ್ತನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

16 Inform the nations; behold, make Jerusalem to hear: Besiegers come from a far country, and raise their voice against the cities of Judah.ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿರಿ. ಇಗೋ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯ ಪಡಿಸಿರಿ; ಏನಂದರೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುವವರು ದೂರ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನೆತ್ತುತ್ತಾರೆ.

17 As keepers of a field are they against her round about; for she hath been rebellious against me, saith Jehovah.ಹೊಲ ಕಾಯುವವರಂತೆ ಸುತ್ತಲಾಗಿ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾಳೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.

18 Thy way and thy doings have procured these [things] unto thee; this is thy wickedness, yea, it is bitter, yea, it reacheth unto thy heart.ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದವು, ಇದು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವೇ; ಅದು ಕಹಿಯಾದದ್ದಲ್ಲವೋ? ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಾಕುತ್ತದ್ದಲ್ಲವೋ?

19 My bowels! my bowels! I am in travail! [Oh,] the walls of my heart! My heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace: for thou hearest, my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the clamour of war.ನನ್ನ ಕರುಳುಗಳು, ನನ್ನ ಕರುಳುಗಳು! ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನೊಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಹೃದ ಯವು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಮೌನವಾಗಿರಲಾರೆನು; ಓ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವೇ, ತುತೂರಿಯ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನೂ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಆರ್ಭಟವನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀ.

20 Destruction upon destruction is proclaimed; for the whole land is wasted: suddenly are my tents laid waste, my curtains, in a moment.ನಾಶ ನದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾಶನವು ಕೂಗಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ, ದೇಶವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳಾಯಿತು; ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ನನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರಗಳೂ ಕ್ಷಣ ಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ತೆರೆಗಳೂ ಹಾಳಾದವು.

21 How long shall I see the standard, [and] hear the sound of the trumpet?ಎಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ ನಾನು ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ತುತೂರಿಯ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿ?

22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have no intelligence; they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ಮೂಢರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅವರು ಅರಿಯರು; ಕುಡಿಕರಾದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆ ಯುಳ್ಳವರಲ್ಲ; ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಜಾಣರಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ, ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದನ್ನು ಅರಿಯರು.

23 I beheld the earth, and lo, it was waste and empty; and the heavens, and they had no light.ನಾನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು, ಇಗೋ, ಅದು ನಿರಾಕಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಹಾಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಶೂನ್ಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇತ್ತು; ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ನೋಡಿದೆನು, ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

24 I beheld the mountains, and lo, they trembled, and all the hills shook violently.ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು, ಇಗೋ, ಅವು ನಡುಗಿದವು; ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ಹೌರವಾಗಿ ಅದುರಿದವು.

25 I beheld, and lo, man was not, and all the fowl of the heavens were fled.ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು, ಇಗೋ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾರಿಹೋಗಿದ್ದವು.

26 I beheld, and lo, the fruitful land was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down, before Jehovah, before his fierce anger.ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು, ಇಗೋ, ಫಲವುಳ್ಳ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಅರಣ್ಯವಾಯಿತು; ಅದರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಆತನ ಕೋಪದ ಉರಿಯ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದವು.

27 For thus saith Jehovah: The whole land shall be a desolation; but I will not make a full end.ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ--ದೇಶವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳಾಗುವದು; ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ.

28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black; because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back therefrom.ಇದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯು ದುಃಖಿಸುವದು; ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಆಕಾಶವು ಕಪ್ಪಾಗುವದು; ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಮಾನಸಾಂತರಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅದರಿಂದ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ;

29 At the noise of the horsemen and bowmen, every city fleeth; they go into the thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city is forsaken and no man dwelleth therein.ರಾಹುತರ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಲ್ಲಿನವರ ಶಬ್ದದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಪಟ್ಟಣವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವದು; ಅಡವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಕ್ಕು, ಬಂಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತುವರು; ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಡುವವು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ವಾಸಮಾಡನು.

30 -- And thou, wasted one, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rendest thine eyes with paint, in vain dost thou make thyself fair: [thy] lovers despise thee, they seek thy life.ನೀನು ಸೂರೆ ಯಾದಾಗ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವಿ? ನೀನು ಕಡು ಕೆಂಪುಬಣ್ಣದ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ತೊಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡರೇನು? ಚಿನ್ನದ ಆಭರಣ ಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದರೇನು? ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ಬಣ್ಣ ಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡರೇನು? ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೌಂದರ್ಯಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ; ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಸಹ್ಯಿಸುವರು; ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವರು.

31 For I hear a voice, as of a woman in travail, anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion: she moaneth, she spreadeth forth her hands, [saying], Woe unto me! for my soul faileth because of murderers.ಪ್ರಸವವೇದನೆ ಪಡುವವಳ ಸ್ವರಕ್ಕೂ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲನ್ನು ಹೆರುವವಳ ಸಂಕಟಕ್ಕೂ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿ ರುವ ಚೀಯೋನಿನ ಮಗಳ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಆಕೆಯು ಗೋಳಾಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ, ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿ--ನನಗೀಗ ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಕೊಲೆಗಾರರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದನ್ನುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
