James 2 - YLT (Kannada)

1 My brethren, hold not, in respect of persons, the faith of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ,ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ನಂಬಿ ಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತಿಗಳಾಗಿರಬಾರದು.

2 for if there may come into your synagogue a man with gold ring, in gay raiment, and there may come in also a poor man in vile raiment,ಹೇಗಂದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಚಿನ್ನದ ಉಂಗುರವನ್ನೂ ಅಂದವಾದ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಭೆ ಯೊಳಗೆ ಬರಲು ಮತ್ತು ಒಬ್ಬ ಬಡ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಸಹ ಹೀನವಾದ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲು

3 and ye may look upon him bearing the gay raiment, and may say to him, `Thou -- sit thou here well,' and to the poor man may say, `Thou -- stand thou there, or, Sit thou here under my footstool,' --ನೀವು ಹೊಳೆಯುವ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವವನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೋ ಎಂತಲೂ ಆ ಬಡವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲ್ಮಣೆಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಕೂತುಕೋ ಎಂತಲೂ ಹೇಳಿದರೆ

4 ye did not judge fully in yourselves, and did become ill-reasoning judges.ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿ ಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲವೇ?

5 Hearken, my brethren beloved, did not God choose the poor of this world, rich in faith, and heirs of the reign that He promised to those loving Him?ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ದೇವರು ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಬಡವರನ್ನು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರಾಗಿಯೂ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವ ರಿಗೆ ತಾನು ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯ ರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ?

6 and ye did dishonour the poor one; do not the rich oppress you and themselves draw you to judgment-seats;ನೀವಾದರೋ ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಸ್ಥಾನಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಎಳೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವವರು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರಲ್ಲವೋ?

7 do they not themselves speak evil of the good name that was called upon you?ನೀವು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸುವವರು ಅವರಲ್ಲವೋ?

8 If, indeed, royal law ye complete, according to the Writing, `Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself,' -- ye do well;ಆದರೂ ಬರಹದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ--ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನಂತೆಯೇ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸ ಬೇಕೆಂಬ ರಾಜಾಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವವರಾದರೆ ನೀವು ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿರುವಿರಿ.

9 and if ye accept persons, sin ye do work, being convicted by the law as transgressors;ನೀವು ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅಪ ರಾಧಿಗಳೆಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಿಂದ ಮನದಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತೀರಿ.

10 for whoever the whole law shall keep, and shall stumble in one `point', he hath become guilty of all;ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆದು ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.

11 for He who is saying, `Thou mayest not commit adultery,' said also, `Thou mayest do no murder;' and if thou shalt not commit adultery, and shalt commit murder, thou hast become a transgressor of law;ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಬಾರ ದೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾತನೇ--ನರಹತ್ಯ ಮಾಡಬಾರ ದೆಂತಲೂ ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀನು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡದೆ ಇದ್ದರೂ ನರಹತ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ವಿಾರಿದವನಾದಿ.

12 so speak ye and so do, as about by a law of liberty to be judged,ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯ ನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುವ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಿಂದ ಅವರು ತೀರ್ಪು ಹೊಂದುವವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆಯೇ ನೀವು ಮಾತನಾಡಿರಿ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.

13 for the judgment without kindness `is' to him not having done kindness, and exult doth kindness over judgment.ಕರುಣೆ ತೋರಿಸದೆ ಇರುವವನಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರುಣೆಯು ತೋರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕರುಣೆಯು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿಗಿಂತ ಮೇಲಾಗಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುತ್ತದೆ.

14 What `is' the profit, my brethren, if faith, any one may speak of having, and works he may not have? is that faith able to save him?ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನಗೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಯುಂಟೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವೇನು? ಅಂಥ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವದೋ?

15 and if a brother or sister may be naked, and may be destitute of the daily food,ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಹೋದರನಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಹೋದರಿಗೆ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯೂ ಆ ದಿನದ ಆಹಾರವೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವಾಗ

16 and any one of you may say to them, `Depart ye in peace, be warmed, and be filled,' and may not give to them the things needful for the body, what `is' the profit?ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡದೆ--ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ಹೋಗಿರಿ, ಬೆಂಕಿಕಾಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಹೊಟ್ಟೆತುಂಬಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವೇನು?

17 so also the faith, if it may not have works, is dead by itself.ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಸತ್ತದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.

18 But say may some one, Thou hast faith, and I have works, shew me thy faith out of thy works, and I will shew thee out of my works my faith:ಹೌದು, ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು--ನಿನಗೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯುಂಟು, ನನಗೆ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳುಂಟು; ನೀನು ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸು; ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ನನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬಹುದು.

19 thou -- thou dost believe that God is one; thou dost well, and the demons believe, and they shudder!ದೇವರು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ನಂಬುವವನು, ನೀನು ಒಳ್ಳೇದು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀ. ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಕೂಡ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಂಬಿ ನಡುಗುತ್ತವೆ.

20 And dost thou wish to know, O vain man, that the faith apart from the works is dead?ಆದರೆ ಓ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದವನೇ, ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲದ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ಸತ್ತದ್ದೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಿನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿದೆಯೋ?

21 Abraham our father -- was not he declared righteous out of works, having brought up Isaac his son upon the altar?ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃವಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಸಾಕನನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ನೀತಿ ನಿರ್ಣಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದಲ್ಲವೇ?

22 dost thou see that the faith was working with his works, and out of the works the faith was perfected?ಅವನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ಹೇಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡಿಸಿ ಆ ಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ಸಿದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಬಂತೆಂಬದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಕಾಣುತ್ತೀಯಲ್ಲಾ?

23 and fulfilled was the Writing that is saying, `And Abraham did believe God, and it was reckoned to him -- to righteousness;' and, `Friend of God' he was called.ಹೀಗೆ--ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಂಬಿದನು; ಆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ಅವನ ಲೆಕ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ನೀತಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು ಎಂಬ ಬರಹವು ಹೇಳುವಂತೆ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. ಅವನು ದೇವರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ನೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.

24 Ye see, then, that out of works is man declared righteous, and not out of faith only;ಹೀಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಗಳಿಂದ ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ ಹೊರತು ಬರೀ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನೀವು ನೋಡುತ್ತೀರಿ.

25 and in like manner also Rahab the harlot -- was she not out of works declared righteous, having received the messengers, and by another way having sent forth?ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೂಳೆಯಾದ ರಹಾಬಳು ಸಹ ಗೂಢಚಾರರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೇರೆ ದಾರಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ನೀತಿ ನಿರ್ಣಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದ ಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ?

26 for as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also the faith apart from the works is dead.ಆತ್ಮವಿಲ್ಲದ ದೇಹವು ಸತ್ತದ್ದಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲದ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯೂ ಸತ್ತದ್ದೇ.
