Isaiah 42 - DBY (Kannada)

1 Behold my servant whom I uphold, mine elect [in whom] my soul delighteth! I will put my Spirit upon him; he shall bring forth judgment to the nations.ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು; ನಾನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡವನಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮ ಆನಂದಿಸುವದು. ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಅವನು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ತರುವನು.

2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.ಅವನು ಕೂಗು ವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಗೊಡಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment according to truth.ಜಜ್ಜಿದ ದಂಟನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಹಾಕದೆ, ಕಳೆಗುಂದಿದ ದೀಪ ವನ್ನು ನಂದಿಸದೆ, ಸತ್ಯದಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಹೊರ ತರುತ್ತಾನೆ.

4 He shall not faint nor be in haste, till he have set justice in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ತನಕ ಅವನು ಸೋಲುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಮನ ಗುಂದುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ದ್ವೀಪಗಳು ಅವನ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾ ಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾದಿರುವವು.

5 Thus saith ùGod, Jehovah, he that created the heavens and stretched them out, he that spread forth the earth and its productions, he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ ಹಾಸಿದವನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಅದರಿಂದ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿ ಯನ್ನೂ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿ, ಅದರ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನೂ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--

6 I, Jehovah, have called thee in righteousness, and will take hold of thy hand; and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the nations,ನೀನು ಕುರುಡರಿಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು, ಬಂದಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವ ರನ್ನು ಕಾರಾಗೃಹದಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು --

7 to open the blind eyes, to bring forth the prisoner from the prison, them that sit in darkness out of the house of restraint.ಕರ್ತನಾಗಿರುವ ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಕರೆದು, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಜನಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಆಧಾರವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

8 I am Jehovah, that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನು, ಅದೇ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು; ನನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ವನ್ನು ಎರಕದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೂ ಕೊಡೆನು.

9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth will I cause you to hear them.ಇಗೋ, ಹಿಂದಿನವುಗಳು ನೆರವೇರಿವೆ. ಹೊಸ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅವು ಹುಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

10 Sing unto Jehovah a new song, his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the isles and their inhabitants.ಸಮುದ್ರ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರೇ, ಸಕಲ ಜಲಚರಗಳೇ, ದ್ವೀಪಗಳೇ, ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿರಿ. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.

11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up [their voice], the villages that Kedar doth inhabit; let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains:ಅರಣ್ಯವು ಅದರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಸ್ವರವೆತ್ತಲಿ; ಕೇದಾರ್‌ ಊರಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು, ಬಂಡೆಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಹಾಡಲಿ; ಅವರು ಪರ್ವತದ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಗಲಿ,

12 let them give glory unto Jehovah, and declare his praise in the islands.ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಿ ಆತನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ದ್ವೀಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲಿ.

13 Jehovah will go forth as a mighty man, he will stir up jealousy like a man of war: he will cry, yea, he will shout; he will shew himself mighty against his enemies.ಕರ್ತನು ಪರಾಕ್ರಮ ಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುವನು; ಯುದ್ಧ ವೀರನ ಹಾಗೆ ತನ್ನ ರೌದ್ರವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸು ವನು; ತನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಜಯ ಶಾಲಿಯಾಗುವನು.

14 Long time have I holden my peace; I have been still, I have restrained myself: I will cry like a woman that travaileth; I will blow and pant at once.ಬಹುಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನುಬಿಗಿಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದೆನು. ಈಗ ನಾನು ಹೆರುವವಳಂತೆ ಕೂಗುವೆನು ನಾನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ ಒಂದೇ ಸಾರಿ ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವೆನು.

15 I will lay waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.ನಾನು ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಮೇವನ್ನು ಒಣಗಿಸಿ, ನದಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ದ್ವೀಪಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೆರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬತ್ತಿ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆಯೂ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.

16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not, in paths that they know not will I lead them; I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.ಕುರುಡರನ್ನು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಯದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅವರನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದ ಹಾದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡಿಸುವೆನು; ಕತ್ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿಯೂ ಸೊಟ್ಟಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟಗಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

17 They shall be turned back, they shall be covered with shame, that confide in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಡುವವರು ಎರಕಹೊಯ್ದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀವೇ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರುಗಳೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ವರು ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಈಡಾಗುವರು.

18 -- Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.ಕಿವುಡರೇ, ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ಕುರುಡರೇ ನೀವು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿರಿ.

19 Who is blind, but my servant? and deaf, as my messenger whom I sent? Who is blind as he in whom I have trusted, and blind as Jehovah's servant,ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಲ್ಲದೆ ಕುರುಡನು ಯಾರು? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಾನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಸೇವಕನಲ್ಲದೇ ಕಿವುಡನು ಯಾರು? ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣನಂತೆ ಕುರುಡನು ಯಾರು? ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕನಂತೆ ಕುರುಡನು ಯಾರು?

20 -- seeing many things, and thou observest not? With opened ears, he heareth not.ನೀನು ಅನೇಕ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಗಮನವಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವನ ಕಿವಿಗಳು ತೆರೆದಿದ್ದರೂ ಕೇಳನು.

21 Jehovah had delight [in him] for his righteousness' sake: he hath magnified the law, and made it honourable.ಕರ್ತನು ಆತನ ನೀತಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚುವನು, ಆತನು ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿ ಘನಪಡಿಸುವನು.

22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and hidden in prison-houses; they are become a prey, and none delivereth, -- a spoil, and none saith, Restore.ಆದರೆ ಈ ಜನರೇ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಗೆ ಈಡಾಗಿ ಸೂರೆಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹಳ್ಳ ಕೊಳ್ಳಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಸೆರೆಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಸೂರೆಯಾದರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

23 Who among you will give ear to this, [who] will hearken and hear what is to come?ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಇವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಕೊಡುವರು, ಯಾರು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಆಲಿಸಿ ಕೇಳುವರು?

24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? Did not Jehovah, he against whom we have sinned? And they would not walk in his ways, neither did they hearken unto his law.ಯಾಕೋಬನ್ನು ಸುಲಿಗೆಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಗೂ ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿ ದವನು ಯಾರು? ನಾವು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದೆವು, ಅದು ಕರ್ತನಿಗಲ್ಲವೇ? ಅವರು ಆತನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯದೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಆತನ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾದರಲ್ಲಾ.

25 And he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he took it not to heart.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಯುದ್ದದ ರೌದ್ರವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಸಿದನು. ಅದು ಅವನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಉರಿಯು ಹತ್ತಿದರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟರೂ ಅವನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
