Isaiah 41:9
ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಗಳಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅದರ ಕೊನೆಯಿಂದ ಕರೆದು--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

| and called | וּמֵאֲצִילֶ֖יהָ | ûmēʾăṣîlêhā | oo-may-uh-tsee-LAY-ha |
| thee from the chief men | קְרָאתִ֑יךָ | qĕrāʾtîkā | keh-ra-TEE-ha |
| said and thereof, | וָאֹ֤מַר | wāʾōmar | va-OH-mahr |
| unto thee, Thou | לְךָ֙ | lĕkā | leh-HA |
| art my servant; | עַבְדִּי | ʿabdî | av-DEE |
| chosen have I | אַ֔תָּה | ʾattâ | AH-ta |
| thee, and not | בְּחַרְתִּ֖יךָ | bĕḥartîkā | beh-hahr-TEE-ha |
| cast thee away. | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| מְאַסְתִּֽיךָ׃ | mĕʾastîkā | meh-as-TEE-ha |
