Isaiah 38:9-21 in Kannada

9 The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick, and was recovered of his sickness:

10 I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years.

11 I said, I shall not see the Lord, even the Lord, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.

12 Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd’s tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.

13 I reckoned till morning, that, as a lion, so will he break all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.

14 Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail with looking upward: O Lord, I am oppressed; undertake for me.

15 What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.

16 O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.

17 Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.

18 For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

20 The Lord was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the Lord.

21 For Isaiah had said, Let them take a lump of figs, and lay it for a plaister upon the boil, and he shall recover.

9 ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ರೋಗದಿಂದ ಗುಣ ಹೊಂದಿದನಂತರ ಬರೆದದ್ದು--

10 ನನ್ನ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಪಾತಾಳದ ದ್ವಾರ ಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು ನನ್ನ ಆಯುಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾ ದದ್ದು ನನಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಹೋಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಅಂದು ಕೊಂಡನು.
I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years.

11 ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು, ಜೀವಿತರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಹ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ನೋಡೆನೆಂದೂ ಇನ್ನೂ ಭೂಲೋಕ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಲ್ಲೊಬ್ಬನಾಗಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಾರೆ ನಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
I said, I shall not see the Lord, even the Lord, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.

12 ನನ್ನ ಆಯುಷ್ಯ ಮುಗಿಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಕುರುಬನ ಗುಡಾರದಂತೆ ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ; ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಆಯುಷ್ಯದ ಹಾಸನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೇಯಿಗೆಯವನಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಬೆಳಗಿನಿಂದ ರಾತ್ರಿಯೊಳಗೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊನೆಗಾಣಿಸುತ್ತೀ.

13 ಆತನು ಸಿಂಹದಂತೆ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮುರಿದಿದ್ದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ತಾಳಿಕೊಂಡೇ ಇದ್ದೆನು; ಬೆಳಗಿನಿಂದ ರಾತ್ರಿಯೊಳಗೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊನೆಗಾಣಿಸುತ್ತೀ.

14 ನಾನು ಬಾನಕ್ಕಿಯಂತೆಯೂ ಬಕದ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೀಚುಗುಟ್ಟಿದೆನು ಪಾರಿವಾಳದಂತೆ ಮೂಲುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ನೋಡುವದರಿಂದ ಕ್ಷೀಣವಾದವು. ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ಬಾಧೆಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯನಾಗು.

15 ನಾನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ; ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಮಾತುಕೊಟ್ಟು ತಾನೇ ಅದನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ದುಃಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ವರುಷಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೆಲ್ಲಗೆ ನಡೆಯುವೆನು.
What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.

16 ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಂಥಾ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಬದುಕುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವವುಂಟು, ಹೀಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿ ಬದುಕುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದಿ.
O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.

17 ಇಗೋ, ಆ ಬಹು ವ್ಯಥೆಯು ನನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಆಯಿತು; ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ನಾಶಕೂಪದಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯೇ. ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಬೆನ್ನಿನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹಾಕಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ.
Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.

18 ಸಮಾಧಿಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಮರಣವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಕುಣಿಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಸತ್ಯತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡಲಾರರು.

19 ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಜೀವಂತನು ಹೌದು, ಜೀವಂತನೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುವನು; ತಂದೆಯು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸತ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯ ಪಡಿಸುವನು.
The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

20 ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗಿ ದ್ದನು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವ ಮಾನದ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಂತಿವಾದ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಹಾಡು ಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಹಾಡುವೆವು.
The Lord was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the Lord.

21 ಯೆಶಾಯನು--ಅಂಜೂರದ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಅಡೆಯನ್ನು ತರಿಸಿ ಹುಣ್ಣಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟರೆ ಅವನು ಬದುಕುವನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು.
