Hosea 3
1 ತರುವಾಯ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ--ಬೇರೆ ದೇವತೆಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೆಯ ಮದ್ಯ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವಳು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಿಣಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನೀನು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ನಿಂದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು
2 ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಹದಿನೈದು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ತುಂಡುಗಳಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹೋಮೆರ್‌ ಜವೆಗೋಧಿಗೂ ಒಂದುವರೆ ಹೋಮೆರ್‌ ಜವೆಗೋಧಿಗೂ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
3 ಅವಳಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಬಹಳ ದಿವಸಗಳು ನನ ಗಾಗಿ ಇರಬೇಕು; ನೀನು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ಮಾಡ ಬಾರದು; ನೀನು ಬೇರೆ ಪುರುಷನಿಗಾಗಿ ಇರಬಾರದು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಇರುವೆನು.
4 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಬಹಳ ದಿವಸಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಅರಸನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಧಾ ನನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ವಿಗ್ರಹವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಎಫೋದ್‌ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವರು.
5 ಆಮೇಲೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರ ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದ ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಂತ್ಯ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ದಯೆಯನ್ನೂ ಭಯದಿಂದ ಮರೆಹೋಗುವರು.
1 Then said the Lord unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the Lord toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.
2 So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:
3 And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee.
4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:
5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days.
