Hosea 3
1 তখন প্রভু আবার আমাকে বললেন, “গোমরের অনেক প্রেমিক আছে কিন্তু তোমাকে অবশ্যই তাকে ভালোবেসে য়েতে হবে| কেন? কারণ সেটা প্রভুর মতোই কাজ| প্রভু ইস্রায়েল জাতিকে ভালবেসেই যাচ্ছেন কিন্তু তারা অন্য দেবতাদের পূজা করেই চলেছে| তারা কিশমিশের পিঠে খেতে ভালবাসে|”
2 সেজন্য আমি গোমরকে 6 আউন্স রূপো এবং 9 বুশেল বার্লি দিয়ে কিনে নিলাম|
3 তারপর আমি তাকে বললাম, “তোমাকে অবশ্যই অনেক দিনের জন্য আমার সঙ্গে থাকতে হবে| পতিতার মতো আচরণ কোরো না| তুমি অন্য মানুষদের সঙ্গেও থাকতে পারবে না এবং আমি তোমার সাক্ষী হব|”
4 একই ভাবে, ইস্রায়েলবাসীরা রাজা অথবা নেতাদের ছাড়াই বহুদিন কাটাবে| তাদের উত্সর্গ অথবা স্মরণ স্তম্ভ থাকবে না| তারা যাজকদের বিশেষ পোশাক এফোদ অথবা গৃহদেবতা ছাড়াই থাকবে|
5 এরপর ইস্রায়েলবাসীরা ফিরে আসবে| তারপর তারা তাদের প্রভু, তাদের ঈশ্বর এবং দাযূদ, তাদের রাজার খোঁজে যাবে| শেষের দিনগুলিতে, তারা প্রভুকে এবং তাঁর ধার্মিকতাকে সম্মান দেবার জন্য আসবে|
1 Then said the Lord unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the Lord toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.
2 So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:
3 And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee.
4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:
5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days.
