1 For the law having a shadow of the good `things' to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect them that draw nigh.ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವು ಬರಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮೇಲುಗಳ ಛಾಯೆಯಾಗಿದೆ; ಆದರೆ ಅದು ಅವುಗಳ ನಿಜಸ್ವರೂಪವಲ್ಲವಾದದರಿಂದ ಆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವು ವರುಷ ವರುಷಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವಾ ಗಲೂ ಅರ್ಪಿತವಾಗುವ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವವರನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಗೆ ತರಲಾರದು.

2 Else would they not have ceased to be offered? because the worshippers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins.ತಂದಿದ್ದ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯು ನಿಂತು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತಲ್ಲಾ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡುವವರು ಒಂದು ಸಾರಿ ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಪಾಪಗಳ ಮನಸ್ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಇರುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

3 But in those `sacrifices' there is a remembrance made of sins year by year.ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರುಷವು ಆ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಪಾಪಗಳ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕವಾಗುವದುಂಟು.

4 For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.ಹೋರಿಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಹೋತಗಳ ರಕ್ತವು ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕುವದು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, But a body didst thou prepare for me;ಆದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಭೂಲೋಕದೊಳಗೆ ಬರುವಾಗ--(ದೇವರೇ,) ಯಜ್ಞವೂ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ನನಗೆ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟೀ;

6 In whole burnt offerings and `sacrifices' for sin thou hadst no pleasure:ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪಾಪಪರಿಹಾರಕ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೀನು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ;

7 Then said I, Lo, I am come (In the roll of the book it is written of me) To do thy will, O God.ಆಗ ನಾನು--ಇಗೋ, ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ಗ್ರಂಥದ ಸುರುಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಬರೆದದೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ನೇರವೇರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.

8 Saying above, Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and `sacrifices' for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein (the which are offered according to the law),ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು--ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಂತೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವಂಥ ಯಜ್ಞವೂ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯೂ ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗಳೂ ಪಾಪ ಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ.

9 then hath he said, Lo, I am come to do thy will. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.ತರು ವಾಯ--ಇಗೋ, ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂತಲೂ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ಎರಡನೆಯದನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮೊದಲನೆಯದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುತ್ತಾನೆ.

10 By which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಒಂದೇ ಸಾರಿ ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ತನ್ನ ದೇಹದ ಮೂಲಕ ಆತನ ಚಿತ್ತದಿಂದ ನಾವು ಶುದ್ಧರಾದೆವು.

11 And every priest indeed standeth day by day ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, the which can never take away sins:ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಯಾಜಕನು ದಿನಾಲು ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಲಾರ ದಂಥ ಒಂದೇ ವಿಧವಾದ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ಪದೇ ಪದೇ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿರುವನು.

12 but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;ಆದರೆ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿರಂತರವಾದ ಒಂದೇ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ದೇವರ ಬಲ ಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡನು.

13 henceforth expecting till his enemies be made the footstool of his feet.ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳು ತನ್ನ ಪಾದ ಪೀಠವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವ ತನಕ ಆತನು ಎದುರುನೋಡುವನು.

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.ಆತನು ಪವಿತ್ರರಾಗುವವರನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯಿಂದ ನಿರಂ ತರಕ್ಕೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

15 And the Holy Spirit also beareth witness to us; for after he hath said,ಪವಿ ತ್ರಾತ್ಮನು ಸಹ ಇದರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೊಡುವಾತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ;

16 This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, saith the Lord: I will put my laws on their heart, And upon their mind also will I write them; `then saith he,'ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ ಆತನು ಮೊದಲು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ--ಆ ದಿನಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡುವೆನು, ಅವರ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆಯುವೆನು. ನಾನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ಇದೇ.

17 And their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೆಂದಿಗೂ ತರುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.ಪಾಪವು ಪರಿಹಾರವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಣೆ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಯೇಸುವಿನ ರಕ್ತದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅತಿಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಧೈರ್ಯವುಂಟಾಯಿತು.

20 by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ, ಆತನು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿದ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಶರೀರವೆಂಬ ತೆರೆಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರವೇ ಇದಾಯಿತು.

21 and `having' a great priest over the house of God;ದೇವರ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನು ನಮಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ

22 let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,ನಾವು ಸತ್ಯವಾದ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸದ ಪೂರ್ಣ ನಿಶ್ಚಯತ್ವದಿಂದಲೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಮನಸ್ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹೃದಯಗಳುಳ್ಳವ ರಾಗಿಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಶರೀರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲವಾದ ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ತೊಳೆದು ಕೊಂಡವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಆತನ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರೋಣ.

23 let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not; for he is faithful that promised:ನಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದಾದ ಅರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಶ್ಚಂಚಲ ದಿಂದ ಬಲವಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿಯೋಣ. (ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದಾತನು ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನು).

24 and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works;ನಾವು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಹಿತಚಿಂತಕರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವದ ಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ಸತ್ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ಒಬ್ಬರ ನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸೋಣ.

25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting `one another'; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh.ಸಭೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರು ರೂಢಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾವು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡದೆ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಎಚ್ಚರಿ ಸೋಣ. ಆ ದಿನವು ಸವಿಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ನೀವು ನೋಡುವದರಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿರಿ.

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,ನಾವು ಸತ್ಯದ ಪರಿಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಇನ್ನಾವ ಯಜ್ಞವೂ ಉಳಿದಿರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.ಆದರೆ ಭಯದಿಂದ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಎದುರು ನೋಡತಕ್ಕ ತೀರ್ಪು ವಿರೋಧಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ದಹಿಸುವ ಕೋಪಾಗ್ನಿಯೂ ಇರುವವು.

28 A man that hath set at nought Moses law dieth without compassion on `the word of' two or three witnesses:ಮೋಶೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಅಸಡ್ಡೆ ಮಾಡಿ ದವನನ್ನು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಮೂವರು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕನಿಕರವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೊಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

29 of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?ಯಾವನು ದೇವ ಕುಮಾರನನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪವಿತ್ರಮಾಡಿದಂಥ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧವೆಂದೆಣಿಸಿ ಕೃಪೆಯ ಆತ್ಮನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೋ ಅವನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಕ್ರೂರವಾದ ದಂಡನೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರನಾಗಬೇಕೆಂಬ ದನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸಿರಿ.

30 For we know him that said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವದು ನನಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟದ್ದು, ನಾನೇ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆ ನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ನಾವು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು; ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವ ನೆಂತಲೂ ಹೇಳಿಯದೆ.

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ಬೀಳುವದು ಭಯಂಕರವಾದದ್ದು.

32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were enlightened, ye endured a great conflict of sufferings;ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಪ್ರಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಗಳ ಬಹು ಹೋರಾಟವನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಹಿಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

33 partly, being made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, becoming partakers with them that were so used.ಕೆಲವು ಸಾರಿ ನೀವು ಎರಡನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ನಿಂದೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಉಪ ದ್ರವಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿ ಹಾಸ್ಯದ ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿ ಯಾದಿರಿ; ಕೆಲವು ಸಾರಿ ಅಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸು ವವರ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರಾದಿರಿ.

34 For ye both had compassion on them that were in bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of you possessions, knowing that ye have for yourselves a better possession and an abiding one.ಬೇಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡವನಾದ ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಅನುತಾಪ ಗೊಂಡು ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ಆಸ್ತಿಯುಂಟೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವೇ ಅರಿತುಕೊಂಡು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನು ಸುಲುಕೊಳ್ಳು ವವರಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರಿ.

35 Cast not away therefore your boldness, which hath great recompense of reward.ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭರವಸವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಷ್ಟ ಪರಿಹಾರದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಉಂಟು.

36 For ye have need of patience, that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನವನು ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯು ಅವಶ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

37 For yet a very little while, He that cometh shall come, and shall not tarry.ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಬರುವಾತನು ಇನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವನು, ತಡಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

38 But my righteous one shall live by faith: And if he shrink back, my soul hath no pleasure in him.ನೀತಿ ವಂತನು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೆ ಬದುಕುವನು; ಅವನು ಹಿಂದೆಗೆದರೆ ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಸಂತೊಷಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

39 But we are not of them that shrink back unto perdition; but of them that have faith unto the saving of the soul.ನಾವಾ ದರೋ ಹಿಂದೆಗೆದವರಾಗಿ ನಾಶವಾಗುವವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ನಂಬುವವರಾಗಿ ಆತ್ಮರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವವ ರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
