Genesis 50 - DBY (Kannada)

1 And Joseph fell upon his father's face, and wept upon him, and kissed him.ಆಗ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮುಖದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಅತ್ತು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮುದ್ದಿಟ್ಟನು.

2 And Joseph commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father. And the physicians embalmed Israel.ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಸುಗಂಧ ದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದು ತನ್ನ ದಾಸರಾದ ವೈದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡಲು ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ಸುಗಂಧ ದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದರು.

3 And forty days were fulfilled for him; for so are fulfilled the days of those who are embalmed. And the Egyptians mourned for him seventy days.ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ದಿವಸಗಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾದವು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಸುಗಂಧ ದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿದವರಿಗೆ ದಿನಗಳು ಹೀಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಬೇಕು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ಅವನಿಗಾಗಿ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ದಿವಸ ದುಃಖಪಟ್ಟರು.

4 And when the days of his mourning were past, Joseph spoke to the house of Pharaoh, saying, If now I have found favour in your eyes, speak, I pray you, in the ears of Pharaoh, saying,ಅವ ನಿಗಾಗಿ ದುಃಖಿಸುವ ದಿನಗಳು ಮುಗಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಫರೋಹನ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಕೃಪೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಫರೋಹನ ಕಿವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಮಾತು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.

5 My father made me swear, saying, Behold, I die; in my grave which I have dug myself in the land of Canaan, there shalt thou bury me. And now, let me go up, I pray thee, that I may bury my father; and I will come again.ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ನನಗೆ ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಸಾಯುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಕಾನಾನ್‌ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅಗೆದ ನನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹೀಗಿ ರುವದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಹೋಗಿ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.

6 And Pharaoh said, Go up and bury thy father, according as he made thee swear.ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನು--ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನೀನು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡು ಅಂದನು.

7 And Joseph went up to bury his father; and with him went up all the bondmen of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Egypt,ಹೀಗೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು. ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಫರೋಹನ ದಾಸರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಹಿರಿಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ

8 and all the house of Joseph, and his brethren, and his father's house; only their little ones, and their flocks, and their herds, they left in the land of Goshen.ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದ ರರೂ ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರೂ ಹೋದರು. ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿದನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾತ್ರ ಗೋಷೆನ್‌ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟರು.

9 And there went up with him both chariots and horsemen; and the camp was very great.ರಥಗಳೂ ರಾಹುತರೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದರು.ಆ ಸಮೂಹವು ಬಹಳ ದೊಡ್ಡದಾಗಿತ್ತು.

10 And they came to the threshing-floor of Atad, which is beyond the Jordan; and there they lamented with a great and very grievous lamentation; and he made a mourning for his father of seven days.ಅವರು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆ ಇರುವ ಆಟಾದ್‌ ಕಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕವಾದ ಮಹಾಗೋಳಾಟದಿಂದ ದುಃಖ ಪಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗಾಗಿ ಏಳು ದಿವಸಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ದುಃಖಪಟ್ಟನು.

11 And the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning at the threshing-floor of Atad, and they said, This is a grievous mourning of the Egyptians. Therefore the name of it was called Abel-Mizraim, which is beyond the Jordan.ದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಾದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರು ಆಟಾದ್‌ ಕಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ದುಃಖವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--ಇದು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಘೋರವಾದ ದುಃಖ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಬೇಲ್‌ ಮಿಚ್ರಯಾಮ್‌ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಾಯಿತು. ಅದು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

12 And his sons did to him according as he had commanded them;ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

13 and his sons carried him into the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah which Abraham had bought along with the field, for a possession of a sepulchre, of Ephron the Hittite, opposite to Mamre.ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಸ್ವಂತ ಸಮಾಧಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಎಫ್ರೋನಿ ನಿಂದ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಮಮ್ರೆಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿರುವ ಮಕ್ಪೇಲ ಹೊಲದ ಗವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು.

14 And, after he had buried his father, Joseph returned to Egypt, he and his brethren, and all that had gone up with him to bury his father.ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋದವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದನು.

15 And when Joseph's brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, If now Joseph should be hostile to us, and should indeed requite us all the evil that we did to him!ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದದ್ದನ್ನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಸಹೋದರರು ನೋಡಿ--ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡಿ ನಾವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತೀಕಾರ ಮಾಡಾನು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು

16 And they sent a messenger to Joseph, saying, Thy father commanded before he died, saying,ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಸಾಯುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ

17 Thus shall ye speak to Joseph: Oh forgive, I pray thee, the transgression of thy brethren, and their sin! for they did evil to thee. And now, we pray thee, forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಪಾಪವನ್ನೂ ಮನ್ನಿಸು ಎಂಬದಾಗಿ ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ದೇವರ ದಾಸರಾದ ನಾವು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸು ಅಂದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಅವನು ಅತ್ತನು.

18 And his brethren also went and fell down before his face, and said, Behold, we are thy bondmen.ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರು ಸಹ ಬಂದು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸರಾಗಿ ದ್ದೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.

19 And Joseph said to them, Fear not: am I then in the place of God?ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಭಯ ಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ, ನಾನು ದೇವರ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೇನೋ?

20 Ye indeed meant evil against me: God meant it for good, in order that he might do as [it is] this day, to save a great people alive.ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಆಲೋಚಿ ಸಿದಿರಿ; ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಈಗ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಹುಜನರನ್ನು ಬದುಕಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಮೇಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

21 And now, fear not: I will maintain you and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spoke consolingly to them.ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸಿ ದಯೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.

22 And Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he and his father's house; and Joseph lived a hundred and ten years.ಹೀಗೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನೂ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆ ಯವರೂ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದರು. ಯೋಸೇಫನು ನೂರ ಹತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು.

23 And Joseph saw Ephraim's children of the third [generation]; the sons also of Machir the son of Manasseh were born on Joseph's knees.ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮಿನ ಮರಿ ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕ ಳನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿದನು. ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮಾಕೀ ರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಹ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ತೊಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಬೆಳೆದರು.

24 And Joseph said to his brethren, I die; and God will certainly visit you, and bring you up out of this land, into the land that he swore unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದ ರರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ದೇವರು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಾಂಬರಿಸಿ ಈ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಾನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮ್‌ ಇಸಾಕ್‌ ಯಾಕೋಬರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಮಾಡುವನು ಅಂದನು.

25 And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will certainly visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones hence.ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ--ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ದರ್ಶಿಸುವನು. ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.

26 And Joseph died, a hundred and ten years old; and they embalmed him; and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.ಯೋಸೇಫನು ನೂರ ಹತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿ ಸತ್ತನು. ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸುಗಂಧದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಯೊಳೆಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು.
