Genesis 39 - BBE (Kannada)

1 Now Joseph was taken down to Egypt; and Potiphar the Egyptian, a captain of high position in Pharaoh's house, got him for a price from the Ishmaelites who had taken him there.ಯೋಸೇಫನನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಐಗುಪ್ತದವನೂ ಫರೋಹನ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಸ್ಥನೂ ಮೈಗಾವಲಿನವನೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯೂ ಆದ ಪೋಟೀಫರನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡನು.

2 And the Lord was with Joseph, and he did well; and he was living in the house of his master the Egyptian.ಕರ್ತನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಏಳಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದವನಾದ ತನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದನು.

3 And his master saw that the Lord was with him, making everything he did go well.ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆಂದೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಮಾಡಿದನೆಂದೂ ಅವನ ಯಜಮಾನನು ನೋಡಿದನು.

4 And having a high opinion of Joseph as his servant, he made him the overseer of his house and gave him control over all he had.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಅವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಪೆಹೊಂದಿ ಅವನ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿದನು. ಪೋಟೀಫರನು ಅವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ತನಗಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.

5 And from the time when he made him overseer and gave him control of all his property, the blessing of the Lord was with the Egyptian, because of Joseph; the blessing of the Lord was on all he had, in the house and in the field.ಅವನನ್ನು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತನಗಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದವನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ವಾಗಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು. ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹೊಲ ದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ (ಅವನಿಗಿದ್ದ) ಎಲ್ಲಾದರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವಿತ್ತು.

6 And he gave Joseph control of all his property, keeping no account of anything, but only the food which was put before him. Now Joseph was very beautiful in form and face.ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ತನಗಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ತಾನು ತಿನ್ನುವ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವದರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲೂ ಚಿಂತಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಸುರೂಪಿಯೂ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವಂತನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದನು.

7 And after a time, his master's wife, looking on Joseph with desire, said to him, Be my lover.ಇವುಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಣ್ಣುಹಾಕಿ--ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗು ಅಂದಳು.

8 But he would not, and said to her, You see that my master keeps no account of what I do in his house, and has put all his property in my control;ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪದೆ ತನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿರು ವದನ್ನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ತನಗಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

9 So that no one has more authority in this house than I have; he has kept nothing back from me but you, because you are his wife; how then may I do this great wrong, sinning against God?ಈ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡವ ನಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನೀನು ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿರುವದ ರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನಲ್ಲದೆ ನನಗೆ ಮತ್ತೇನೂ ಮರೆಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಮಾಡಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡುವದು ಹೇಗೆ ಅಂದನು.

10 And day after day she went on requesting Joseph to come to her and be her lover, but he would not give ear to her.ಅವಳು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವನು ಅವಳ ಕೂಡ ಮಲಗುವದಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಅವಳ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಇರುವದ ಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದೆ ಹೋದನು.

11 Now one day he went into the house to do his work; and not one of the men of the house was inside.ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ ಮನೆಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರೂ ಮನೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

12 And pulling at his coat, she said, Come to my bed; but slipping out of his coat, he went running away.ಆಗ ಆಕೆಯು ಅವನ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡು--ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗು ಅಂದಳು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಅವಳ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದನು.

13 And when she saw that he had got away, letting her keep his coat,ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರ ವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದದನ್ನೂ ಅವಳು ಕಂಡು

14 She sent for the men of her house and said to them, See, he has let a Hebrew come here and make sport of us; he came to my bed, and I gave a loud cry;ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೋಡಿರಿ, ಅವನು (ಗಂಡಸು) ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಬ್ರಿಯನನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ ಕೂಗಿದೆನು.

15 And hearing it he went running out without his coat.ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಕೂಗಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಅವನು ಕೇಳಿ ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದನು ಅಂದಳು.

16 And she kept his coat by her, till his master came back.ತನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನು ಮನೆಗೆ ಬರುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಆಕೆಯು ಅವನ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಳು.

17 Then she gave him the same story, saying, The Hebrew servant whom you have taken into our house came in to make sport of me;ಅವನು ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನಿಗೂ ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ಹೇಳುವವ ಳಾಗಿ--ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದ ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ಸೇವಕನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು;

18 And when I gave a loud cry he went running out without his coat.ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದನು ಅಂದಳು.

19 And hearing his wife's account of what his servant had done, he became very angry.ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು ಹೀಗೆ ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದನೆಂಬದಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅವನ ಕೋಪವು ಉರಿಯಿತು.

20 And Joseph's master took him and put him in prison, in the place where the king's prisoners were kept in chains, and he was there in the prison-house.ಆಗ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಯಜಮಾನನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡು ರಾಜನ ಕೈದಿಗಳು ಬಂಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದನು. ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಆ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದನು.

21 But the Lord was with Joseph, and was good to him, and made the keeper of the prison his friend.ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರುಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಯಜಮಾನನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ದಯೆತೋರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

22 And the keeper of the prison put all the prisoners under Joseph's control, and he was responsible for whatever was done there.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಸೆರೆಯ ಯಜಮಾನನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಕೈದಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡ ಬೇಕಾದವುಗಳೆನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನೇ ಮಾಡಿಸುವವನಾ ದನು.

23 And the keeper of the prison gave no attention to anything which was under his care, because the Lord was with him; and the Lord made everything he did go well.ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದಲೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡುವದನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೂ ಸೆರೆಯ ಯಜಮಾನನು ಅವನ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಯಾವದಕ್ಕೂ ಚಿಂತೆಮಾಡದೆ ಇದ್ದನು.
