Genesis 27 - WBT (Kannada)

1 And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said to him, My son: and he said to him, Behold, here am I.ಇಸಾಕನು ಮುದುಕನಾಗಿ ನೋಡುವದ ಕ್ಕಾಗದಷ್ಟು ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಮೊಬ್ಬಾ ದಾಗ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಹಿರೀ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ ಅಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

2 And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death:ಆಗ ಅವನು--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಮುದುಕನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಸಾವಿನ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅರಿಯೆನು.

3 Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;ಆದದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬತ್ತಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅಡವಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೇಟೆಯ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ

4 And make me savory meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.ನಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡುವ ರುಚಿಯಾದ ಊಟವನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಸಾಯುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

5 And Rebekah heard when Isaac spoke to Esau his son; and Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it.ಇಸಾಕನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಳು. ಏಸಾವನು ಬೇಟೆಯಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತರುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಡವಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.

6 And Rebekah spoke to Jacob her son, saying, Behold, I heard thy father speak to Esau thy brother, saying,ಆಗ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಏಸಾವನಿಗೆ--

7 Bring me venison, and make me savory meat, that I may eat, and bless thee before the LORD, before my death.ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೇಟೆಯ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ರುಚಿಯಾದ ಅಡಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ; ಆಗ ನಾನು ಸಾಯುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸು ವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ;

8 Now therefore, my son, obey my voice, according to that which I command thee.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯನಾಗು.

9 Go now to the flock, and bring me from thence two good kids of the goats; and I will make them savory meat for thy father, such as he loveth:ಈಗ ನೀನು ಮಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಎರಡು ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಮೇಕೆಯ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ; ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಸುವ ರುಚಿಯಾದ ಅಡಿಗೆಯನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವೆನು.

10 And thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, and that he may bless thee before his death.ನೀನು ಅದನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕು. ಅವನು ಸಾಯುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವಂತೆ ಊಟಮಾಡಲಿ ಅಂದಳು.

11 And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man:ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯಾದ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕ ಳಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು ರೋಮವುಳ್ಳ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನಾನು ನುಣು ಪಾದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

12 My father perhaps will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಮೋಸಗಾರನಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುವೆನು. ಆಗ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ವಲ್ಲ, ಶಾಪವನ್ನೇ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

13 And his mother said to him, upon me be thy curse, my son; only obey my voice, and go, bring them to me.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಶಾಪವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಲಿ; ನೀನು ಮಾತ್ರ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯನಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ ಅಂದಳು.

14 And he went, and took, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made savory meat, such as his father loved.ಆಗ ಅವನು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ ರುಚಿಯಾದ ಅಡಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದಳು.

15 And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which was with her in the house, and put it upon Jacob her younger son:ತರು ವಾಯ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಹಿರೀಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಕಿರೀಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಉಡಿಸಿದಳು.

16 And she put the skins of the kids of the goats on his hands, and on the smooth part of his neck:ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೇಕೆಯ ಮರಿಗಳ ಚರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕೈಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನುಣುಪಾದ ಕೊರಳಿನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿದಳು;

17 And she gave the savory meat, and the bread which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.ತರುವಾಯ ತಾನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ ರುಚಿಯಾದ ಊಟವನ್ನೂ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಯನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು.

18 And he came to his father, and said, My father: And he said, Here am I; who art thou, my son?ಆಗ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೇ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು--ಇಗೋ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನೀನು ಯಾರು ಅಂದನು.

19 And Jacob said to his father, I am Esau thy first-born; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me.ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿರೀ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು; ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಎದ್ದು ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡು. ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿ ಸುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಬೇಟೆಯ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡು ಅಂದನು.

20 And Isaac said to his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God brought it to me.ಇಸಾಕನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಇಷ್ಟು ಬೇಗ ಅದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನೆದುರಿಗೆ ಅದು ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು ಅಂದನು.

21 And Isaac said to Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou art my very son Esau, or not.ಆಗ ಇಸಾಕನುನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನೀನೇ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು ಹೌದೋ ಅಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ನೋಡುವಂತೆ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಾ ಅಂದನು.

22 And Jacob went near to Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದನು. ಇಸಾಕನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ--ಸ್ವರವು ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಸ್ವರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಕೈಗಳು ಏಸಾವನ ಕೈಗಳು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

23 And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's hands: So he blessed him.ಅವನ ಕೈಗಳು ಅವನ ಅಣ್ಣನಾದ ಏಸಾವನ ಕೈಗಳಂತೆ ರೋಮಗಳುಳ್ಳವುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಯಾರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು.

24 And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.ಅವನು--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನೋ ಅಂದಾಗ ಅವನು--ನಾನೇ ಅಂದನು.

25 And he said, bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son's venison, that my soul may bless thee. And he brought it near to him, and he ate: and he brought him wine, and he drank.ಆಗ ಅವನು--ಅದನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನ ಬೇಟೆಯ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಊಟ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು; ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಅದನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಊಟಮಾಡಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ತಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಕುಡಿದನು.

26 And his father Isaac said to him, Come near now, and kiss me, my son.ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದು ನನಗೆ ಮುದ್ದಿಡು ಅಂದನು.

27 And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed:ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದು ಮುದ್ದಿಟ್ಟನು. ಇಸಾಕನು ಅವನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳ ವಾಸನೆಯನ್ನು ಮೂಸಿ ನೋಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ--ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಮಗನ ವಾಸನೆಯು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ ಹೊಲದ ವಾಸನೆಯಂತಿದೆ.

28 Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:ಆದದರಿಂದ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಕಾಶದ ಮಂಜನ್ನೂ ಸಾರವುಳ್ಳ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದ ಧಾನ್ಯ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಲಿ.

29 Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee; be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.ಜನಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಲಿ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ನೀನು ದೊರೆ ಯಾಗಿರು. ನಿನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಶಾಪವೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವ ವರಿಗೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವೂ ಆಗಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

30 And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob had yet scarcely gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.ಇಸಾ ಕನು ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟಾಗ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು ಬೇಟೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದನು.

31 And he also had made savory meat, and brought it to his father; and said to his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his son's venison, that thy soul may bless me.ಅವನು ಸಹ ರುಚಿಯಾದ ಊಟವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದು--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಎದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನ ಬೇಟೆಯ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

32 And Isaac his father said to him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy first-born Esau.ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಯಾರು ಅಂದಾಗ ಅವನು--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು ಅಂದನು.

33 And Isaac trembled exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed.ಆಗ ಇಸಾಕನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ನಡುಗುತ್ತಾ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನೀನು ಬರುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಬೇಟೆಯಾಡಿ ನನಗೆ ತಂದವನು ಯಾರು? ಅವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ? ನೀನು ಬರುವದರೊಳಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಊಟಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವ ದಿಸಿದೆನು. ಹೌದು, ಅವನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

34 And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceedingly bitter cry, and said to his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father.ಏಸಾವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಅತಿ ವ್ಯಥೆಪಟ್ಟು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಸ್ವರದಿಂದ ಅತ್ತನು. ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆ--ತಂದೆಯೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೂಡಾ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸು ಅಂದನು.

35 And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing.ಅವನು --ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನು ಮೋಸದಿಂದ ಬಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

36 And he said, Is he not rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me twice: he took away my birth-right; and behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು--ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯಾಕೋಬನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲವೋ. ಈ ಎರಡು ಸಾರಿ ಅವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲತನ ವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಇಗೋ, ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನೀನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸ ಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದನು.

37 And Isaac answered and said to Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now to thee, my son?ಇಸಾಕನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಏಸಾವನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಅವನನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ದೊರೆಯಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟು ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸೇವಕ ರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಧಾನ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ದಿಂದಲೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ನಾನು ಏನು ಮಾಡಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

38 And Esau said to his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.ಏಸಾವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೇ, ಆ ಒಂದೇ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವು ನಿನಗೆ ಇದೆಯೋ? ತಂದೆಯೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಹೌದು, ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸು ಎಂದು ಅವನು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೂಗಿ ಅತ್ತನು.

39 And Isaac his father answered, and said to him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;ಆಗ ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ನಿವಾಸವು ಭೂಮಿಯಸಾರ ದಿಂದಲೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಮಂಜಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಇರುವದು.

40 And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother: and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.ನಿನ್ನ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ನೀನು ಬದುಕುವಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವಿ; ಆದರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವವು ಬಂದಾಗ ಆಗುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ಅವನ ನೊಗವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೊರಳಿನಿಂದ ಮುರಿದು ಹಾಕುವಿ.

41 And Esau hated Jacob, because of the blessing with which his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.ತಂದೆಯು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಏಸಾವನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡಿ--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದುಃಖಪಡುವ ದಿನಗಳು ಸವಿಾಪ ವಾಗಿವೆ, ತರುವಾಯ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ ನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.

42 And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said to him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as concerning thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee.ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಹಿರೀ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ಆಕೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಕಿರೀ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನು ಕರೇಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ ನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

43 Now therefore, my son, obey my voice: and arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;ಆದದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯನಾಗು; ಎದ್ದು ಹಾರಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಲಾಬಾನನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗು.

44 And tarry with him a few days, until thy brother's fury shall turn away;ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನ ಕೋಪವು ತೀರುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಕೆಲವು ದಿವಸಗಳು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇರು.

45 Till thy brother's anger shall turn away from thee, and he shall forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and bring thee from thence. Why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನ ಕೋಪವು ತೀರಿಹೋಗಿ ನೀನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಅವನು ಮರೆಯುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇರು. ತರುವಾಯ ನಾನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಿಸುವೆನು. ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಿಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ಯಾಕೆ ಅಂದಳು.

46 And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life, because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob shall take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these who are of the daughters of the land, what good will my life do me?ತರುವಾಯ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳು ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೆ--ಹೇತನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಗಳ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವ ನನಗೆ ಬೇಸರವಾಗಿದೆ; ಹೇತನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಗಳಂತಿರುವ ಈ ದೇಶದ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬಳನ್ನು ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡರೆ ನಾನು ಬದುಕುವದರಿಂದ ನನಗೇನು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನ ಅಂದಳು.
