Genesis 23:3
ತರುವಾಯ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು (ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ) ಶವದ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಎದ್ದು ಹೇತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--

ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಅಹೀಮೆಲೆಕನನ್ನೂ ಚೆರೂಯಳ ಮಗ ನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೋವಾಬನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಬೀಷೈ ಯನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿ--ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ದಂಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿ ಸಲು ಬರುವವನು ಯಾರೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಬೀಷೈಯು--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಊರೀಯನು ಇವ ರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೂವತ್ತೇಳು ಮಂದಿಯು.

ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಹೇತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನೂ ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಸಾರಳೂ ಹೂಣಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.
