Genesis 17 - ASV (Kannada)

1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, Jehovah appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be thou perfect.ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ತೊಂಭತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾದಾಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು--ನಾನೇ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು; ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ನೀನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣನಾಗಿರು.

2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.ನನಗೂ ನಿನಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,ಆಗ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗಬಿದ್ದನು. ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--

4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be the father of a multitude of nations.ಇಗೋ, ನಾನಾದರೋ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀನು ಅನೇಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ತಂದೆ ಯಾಗಿರುವಿ.

5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for the father of a multitude of nations have I made thee.ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಇನ್ನು ಅಬ್ರಾಮ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿರುವದು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅನೇಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿ ಯಾಗಮಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಾಗ ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಅರಸರು ಹುಟ್ಟುವರು.

7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನಕ್ಕೂ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೂ ನಿನಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ಬರುವ ತಲ ತಲಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನಕ್ಕೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land of thy sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.ನಿನಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನಕ್ಕೂ ನೀನು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಅವರ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

9 And God said unto Abraham, And as for thee, thou shalt keep my covenant, thou, and thy seed after thee throughout their generations.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ಬರುವ ಸಂತಾನಗಳೂ ತಲತಲಾಂತರ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee: every male among you shall be circumcised.ನನಗೂ ನಿನಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನಕ್ಕೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳತಕ್ಕ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಏನಂದರೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗಂಡಸರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು.

11 And ye shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of a covenant betwixt me and you.ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೊಗಲಿನ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಸುನ್ನತಿಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು; ಅದು ನನಗೂ ನಿಮಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಇರುವ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಗುರುತಾಗಿ ರುವದು.

12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every male throughout your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any foreigner that is not of thy seed.ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಗಂಡು ಮಗುವಿಗೆ ಎಂಟು ದಿನಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು; ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನಾಗಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯಲ್ಲದೆ ಪರರ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹಣಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರಾಗಲಿ

13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಣದಿಂದ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡ ವನಿಗೂ ಸುನ್ನತಿಮಾಡಿಸತಕ್ಕದ್ದು. ಹೀಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವದು.

14 And the uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಾಗದ ಗಂಡಸಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಾರಿದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವನು ಜನರೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.

15 And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಸಾರಯಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಾದರೋ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರಯಳೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಬೇಡ; ಅವಳ ಹೆಸರು ಸಾರಾ.

16 And I will bless her, and moreover I will give thee a son of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be `a mother of' nations; kings of peoples shall be of her.ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿ ಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆಕೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಸಹ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಹೌದು, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ತಾಯಿಯಾ ಗುವಂತೆ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆಕೆಯಿಂದ ಜನರ ಅರಸರು ಹುಟ್ಟುವರು ಅಂದನು.

17 Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is a hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?ಆಗ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ನಕ್ಕು-ನೂರು ವರುಷ ದವನಿಗೆ ಮಗುವು ಹುಟ್ಟುವದುಂಟೇ? ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ವರುಷದವಳಾದ ಸಾರಳು ಹೆರುವದುಂಟೇ ಎಂದು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.

18 And Abraham said unto God, Oh that Ishmael might live before thee!ಅಬ್ರಹಾ ಮನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ--ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನು ನಿನ್ನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬದುಕಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

19 And God said, Nay, but Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his seed after him.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರು--ನಿಶ್ಚಯ ವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಸಾರಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆರುವಳು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇಸಾಕನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಡಬೇಕು. ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ತರುವಾಯ ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವೆನು.

20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಬೇಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿ ಸಿದೆನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಮಾಡಿ ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವನಿಂದ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟುವರು. ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗವಾಗ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.

21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.ಆದರೆ ಬರುವ ವರುಷ ಈ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೆರುವ ಇಸಾಕನ ಸಂಗಡ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

22 And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುವದನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಏರಿಹೋದನು.

23 And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house, and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲ ನನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ತಾನು ಹಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಗಂಡಸರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ದೇವರು ತನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆ ದಿನವೇ ಸುನ್ನತಿಮಾಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡುಹೋದನು.

24 And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಾದಾಗ ಅವನು ತೊಂಭತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

25 And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಾದಾಗ ಅವನು ಹದಿಮೂರು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

26 In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son.ಅಬ್ರಹಾ ಮನೂ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನೂ ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುನ್ನತಿಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.

27 And all the men of his house, those born in the house, and those bought with money of a foreigner, were circumcised with him.ಅವನ ಮನೆಯ ಗಂಡಸರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ವರಿಗೂ ಪರರಿಂದ ಹಣಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡ ವರಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡವೇ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಆಯಿತು.
