Genesis 16 - DBY (Kannada)

1 And Sarai Abram's wife did not bear him [children]. And she had an Egyptian maidservant; and her name was Hagar.ಅಬ್ರಾಮನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಸಾರಯಳು ಅವನಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಕೆಗೆ ಹಾಗರಳೆಂಬ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ದಾಸಿಯು ಇದ್ದಳು.

2 And Sarai said to Abram, Behold now, Jehovah has shut me up, that I do not bear. Go in, I pray thee, to my maidservant: it may be that I shall be built up by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.ಆಗ ಸಾರಯಳು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಮಕ್ಕ ಳನ್ನು ಹೆರದಂತೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಿಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗು; ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅವಳಿಂದ ನಾನು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯ ಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡಳು. ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ಸಾರಯಳ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

3 And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar, the Egyptian, her maidservant, at the end of ten years that Abram had dwelt in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram, as his wife.ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ಕಾನಾನ್‌ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ವರುಷ ವಾಸಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಸಾರಯಳು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ತನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯಾದ ಹಾಗರಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಗಂಡನಾದ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು.

4 And he went in to Hagar, and she conceived. And when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was lightly esteemed in her eyes.ಅವನು ಹಾಗರಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿದಾಗ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿ ಯಾದಳು. ತಾನು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾದೆನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದಾಗ ಅವಳ ಯಜಮಾನಿಯು ಅವಳ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಳು.

5 And Sarai said to Abram, My wrong be on thee! I have given my maidservant into thy bosom; and now she sees that she has conceived, I am lightly esteemed in her eyes. Jehovah judge between me and thee!ಆಗ ಸಾರಯಳು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ--ನನಗೆ ಆದ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಲಿ. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗ್ಗುಲಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು. ಈಗ ಅವಳು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವಳ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರವಾದೆನು. ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೂ ನನಗೂ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಲಿ ಅಂದಳು.

6 And Abram said to Sarai, Behold, thy maidservant is in thy hand: do to her what is good in thine eyes. And Sarai oppressed her; and she fled from her face.ಆಗ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ಸಾರಯಳಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾಳೆ; ನೀನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುವದನ್ನು ಮಾಡು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಸಾರಯಳು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವಳು ಸಾರಯಳ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಓಡಿಹೋದಳು.

7 And the Angel of Jehovah found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur.ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೂರಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಂದು ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡು

8 And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maidservant, whence comest thou? and whither art thou going? And she said, I am fleeing from the face of my mistress Sarai.ಸಾರಯಳ ದಾಸಿಯಾದ ಹಾಗರಳೇ, ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂದಿ? ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀ ಅಂದನು. ಅವಳು--ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನಿಯಾದ ಸಾರ ಯಳ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದಳು.

9 And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಅಧೀನಳಾಗಿರು ಅಂದನು.

10 And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವೆನು; ಅದು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವದರಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

11 And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael, because Jehovah hath hearkened to thy affliction.ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದೀ, ನೀನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆರುವಿ; ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಡಬೇಕು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ವ್ಯಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

12 And he will be a wild-ass of a man, his hand against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell before the face of all his brethren.ಅವನು ಕಾಡು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿರುವನು; ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಕೈಯೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಕೈಯೂ ಇರುವದು, ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೆಲ್ಲರ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವನು ಅಂದನು.

13 And she called the name of Jehovah who spoke to her, Thou art the ùGod who reveals himself, for she said, Also here have I seen after he has revealed himself.ಹಾಗರಳು ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವ ದೇವರು ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಳು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಾ ತನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೋಡುವಂತಾಯಿತಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಳು.

14 Therefore the well was named Beer-lahai-roi: behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಆ ಬಾವಿಗೆ ಬೆರ್‌ ಲಹೈರೋಯಿ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಾಯಿತು. ಅದು ಕಾದೇಶಿಗೂ ಬೆರೆದಿಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೆ.

15 And Hagar bore Abram a son; and Abram called the name of his son whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.ತರು ವಾಯ ಹಾಗರಳು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು. ಹಾಗರಳು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಹೆತ್ತ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಅವನು ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.

16 And Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram.ಹಾಗರಳು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಾಗ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ಎಂಭತ್ತಾರು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
