1 Then Darius the king gave an order and a search was made in the house of the records, where the things of value were stored up in Babylon.ಆಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನ ಅಪ್ಪ ಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರು ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಶಾಲೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಕಿದರು.

2 And at Achmetha, in the great house of the king in the land of Media, they came across a roll, in which this statement was put on record:ಮೇದ್ಯರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಹ್ಮೆತಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆ ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥದ ಒಂದು ಸುರಳಿಯು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು.

3 In the first year of Cyrus the king, Cyrus the king made an order: In connection with the house of God at Jerusalem, let the house be put up, the place where they make offerings, and let the earth for the bases be put in place; let it be sixty cubits high and sixty cubits wide;ಅರಸನಾದ ಕೋರೆಷನ ಮೊದಲನೇ ವರುಷ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನಾದ ಕೋರೆಷನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರುವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಏನಂದರೆ--ಅವರು ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಸ್ಥಳವಾದ ಆಲಯವು ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಡಲಿ. ಅದರ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳು ಬಲ ವಾಗಿ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಲಿ; ಅದರ ಎತ್ತರ ಅರುವತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಅದರ ಅಗಲ ಅರುವತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಆಗಿರಲಿ;

4 With three lines of great stones and one line of new wood supports; and let the necessary money be given out of the king's store-house;ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಮೂರು ಸಾಲುಗಳೂ ಹೊಸ ತೊಲೆಗಳ ಒಂದು ಸಾಲೂ ಇರಲಿ.

5 And let the gold and silver vessels from the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took from the Temple at Jerusalem to Babylon, be given back and taken again to the Temple at Jerusalem, every one in its place, and put them in the house of God.ಅದರ ಖರ್ಚು ಅರಮನೆ ಯಿಂದ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೇಚ್ಚರನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಂದಿರದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಒಯ್ದು ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದೊಳಗೆ ಅದರದರ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಲಿ ಎಂಬದೇ.

6 So now, Tattenai, ruler of the land across the river, and Shethar-bozenai and your people the Apharsachites across the river, keep far from that place:ಆದಕಾರಣ ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಧಿಪತಿ ಯಾದ ತತ್ತೆನೈಯನೇ, ಶೆತರ್ಬೋಜೆನೈಯೇ, ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಪರ್ಸತ್ಕಾಯರಾದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆ ಗಾರರು ಸಹ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ದೂರವಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.

7 Let the work of this house of God go on; let the ruler of the Jews and their responsible men put up this house of God in its place.ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಗೊಡವೆಯನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬಿಡಿರಿ. ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಲಿ.

8 Further, I give orders as to what you are to do for the responsible men of the Jews in connection with the building of this house of God: that from the king's wealth, that is, from the taxes got together in the land over the river, the money needed is to be given to these men readily, so that their work may not be stopped.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರ ಈ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನಾನು ಕೊಡುವ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಏನಂದರೆ--ಅವರು ಅಭ್ಯಂತರ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಅರಸನ ಕಪ್ಪದಿಂದಲೇ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಖರ್ಚು ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿ.

9 And whatever they have need of, young oxen and sheep and lambs, for burned offerings to the God of heaven, grain, salt, wine, and oil, whatever the priests in Jerusalem say is necessary, is to be given to them day by day regularly:ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ಪರ ಲೋಕದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅರಸನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ

10 So that they may make offerings of a sweet smell to the God of heaven, with prayers for the life of the king and of his sons.ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಹೋರಿ ಗಳೂ ಟಗರುಗಳೂ ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳೂ ಗೋಧಿಯೂ ಉಪ್ಪೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವೂ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯೂ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯಾಜಕರ ನೇಮಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿ.

11 And I have given orders that if anyone makes any change in this word, one of the supports is to be pulled out of his house, and he is to be lifted up and fixed to it; and his house is to be made waste for this;ನಾನು ಕೊಡುವ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಏನಂದರೆ--ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಬದಲು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಮರ ಕಿತ್ತು ನೆಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿ; ಅವನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಗಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಲಿ; ಅವನ ಮನೆಯು ಇದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ತಿಪ್ಪೆ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿ.

12 And may the God who has made it a resting-place for his name send destruction on all kings and peoples whose hands are outstretched to make any change in this or to do damage to this house of God at Jerusalem. I, Darius, have given this order, let it be done with all care.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಲು ಮಾಡಿದ ದೇವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಈ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಬದಲು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕೆಡಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಚಾಚುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸುಗ ಳನ್ನೂ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಆತನು ಕೆಡಿಸಲಿ. ದಾರ್ಯಾ ವೆಷನಾದ ನಾನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಅದು ತ್ವರೆ ಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಎಂಬದು.

13 Then Tattenai, the ruler across the river, and Shethar-bozenai and their people, because of the order given by King Darius, did as he had said with all care.ಆಗ ನದಿಯ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ತತ್ತೆನೈಯೂ ಶೆತರ್ಬೋಜೆನೈಯೂ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆ ಗಾರರೂ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನು ಕಳುಹಿ ಸಿದ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

14 And the responsible men of the Jews went on with their building, and did well, helped by the teaching of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah, the son of Iddo. They went on building till it was complete, in keeping with the word of the God of Israel, and the orders given by Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes, king of Persia.ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಾದ ಹಗ್ಗಾಯನೂ ಇದ್ದೋನನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಜೆಕರೀಯನೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದರು. ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ದೇವರ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ಕೋರೆಷನು ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನು ಪಾರಸಿಯ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅರ್ತಷಸ್ತನು ಎಂಬವರ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದರು.

15 And the building of this house was complete on the third day of the month Adar, in the sixth year of the rule of Darius the king.ಅರಸ ನಾದ ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಆರನೇ ವರುಷದ ಅಡಾರ್‌ ತಿಂಗಳ ಮೂರನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಆಲಯವು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ತೀರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.

16 And the children of Israel, the priests and the Levites, and the rest of those who had come back, kept the feast of the opening of this house of God with joy.ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾ ದವರೂ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಮಾಡಿದರು.

17 And they gave as offerings at the opening of this house of God a hundred oxen, two hundred sheep, four hundred lambs; and for a sin-offering for all Israel, twelve he-goats, being the number of the tribes of Israel.ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನೂರು ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇನ್ನೂರು ಟಗರು ಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಾನೂರು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಕುಲಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಕಳೆಯುವದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮೇಕೆಯ ಹೋತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.

18 And they put the priests in their divisions and the Levites in their order, for the worship of God at Jerusalem; as it is recorded in the book of Moses.ಮೋಶೆಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಸರತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಸರತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದರು.

19 And the children of Israel who had come back kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸೆರೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಸ್ಕವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು.

20 For the priests and the Levites had made themselves clean together; they were all clean: and they put the Passover lamb to death for all those who had come back, and for their brothers the priests and for themselves.ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಕೂಡ ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು; ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಶುಚಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಸೆರೆಯ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ತಮಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಪಸ್ಕ ವನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿದರು.

21 And the children of Israel, who had come back, and all those who were joined to them, after separating themselves from the evil ways of the people of the land to become the servants of the Lord, the God of Israel, took food together,ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ದೇವ ರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ದೇಶದ ಜನಾಂಗ ಗಳ ಅಶುಚಿಯಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಸಮಸ್ತರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಹುಳಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಏಳು ದಿವಸ ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು.

22 And kept the feast of unleavened bread for seven days with joy: for the Lord had made them full of joy, by turning the heart of the king of Assyria to them to give them help in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ದೇವ ರಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್‌ ದೇಶದ ಅರ ಸನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸಿದನು.
