ಮರದ ಯಜ್ಞ ವೇದಿಯು ಮೂರುಮೊಳ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಉದ್ದವು ಎರಡು ಮೊಳವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಅದರ ಮೂಲೆಗಳೂ ಉದ್ದವೂ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವೂ ಮರದಿಂದಲೇ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು; ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುವ ಮೇಜು ಇದೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
