Exodus 8:29
ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ನೊಣಗಳು ನಾಳೆ ಫರೋಹನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗುವವು. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಫರೋಹನು ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಳು ಹಿಸದೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ವಂಚಿಸಬಾರದು ಅಂದನು.

ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನು ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನರನ್ನು ಕರೆ ಯಿಸಿ--ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಈ ಕಪ್ಪೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳ ಬಳಿ ಯಿಂದಲೂ ತೊಲಗಿಸಬೇಕು. ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜನರು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಜ್ಞಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
