1 And Jehovah said to Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh; for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his bondmen, that I might do these my signs in their midst,ತರುವಾಯ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ-- ಫರೋಹನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗು. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ತೋರಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಠಿಣಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

2 and that thou mightest tell in the ears of thy son and thy son's son what I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಮಾಡಿದೆನೆಂದೂ ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನೆಂದೂ ನೀವು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸ ಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

3 And Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and said to him, Thus saith Jehovah the God of the Hebrews: How long dost thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನರು ಫರೋಹನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇಬ್ರಿಯರ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರುವದು ಎಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೇ? ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಹೋಗಗೊಡಿಸು.

4 For, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, I will to-morrow bring locusts into thy borders;ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಹೋಗಗೊಡಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ನಾಳೆಯೇನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಡತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡು ವೆನು.

5 and they shall cover the face of the land, so that ye will not be able to see the land; and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which ye have remaining from the hail, and shall eat every tree which ye have growing in the field;ಒಬ್ಬನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವದಕ್ಕಾಗದಷ್ಟು ಅವು ಭೂಮುಖವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವು; ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವು ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದ ಹಾಳಾಗದೆ ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದಿರುವದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಹೊಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಗುರಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮರವನ್ನೂ ತಿಂದುಬಿಡು ವವು.

6 and they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy bondmen, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which neither thy fathers nor thy fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned and went out from Pharaoh.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮನೆ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತುಂಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವು. ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗಳಾಗಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗಳ ತಂದೆಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಅವರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಅಂಥದ್ದನ್ನು ಎಂದೂ ನೋಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು. ಮೋಶೆಯು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಫರೋಹನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದನು.

7 And Pharaoh's bondmen said to him, How long shall this man be a snare to us? let the men go, that they may serve Jehovah their God: dost thou not yet know that Egypt is ruined?ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನ ಸೇವಕರು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇವನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ನಮಗೆ ಉರುಲಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಆ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡು. ಐಗುಪ್ತವು ನಾಶವಾಯಿ ತೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದರು.

8 And Moses and Aaron were brought again to Pharaoh. And he said to them, Go, serve Jehovah your God. Who are they that shall go?ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನರು ಫರೋಹನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು. ಆಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆದರೆ ಹೋಗು ವವರು ಯಾರಾರು ಅಂದನು.

9 And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters; with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we have a feast of Jehovah.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಮ್ಮ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರನ್ನೂ ಮುದುಕರನ್ನೂ ಕರ ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ದನಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾವು ಕರ್ತ ನಿಗಾಗಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.

10 And he said to them, Let Jehovah be so with you, as I let you go, and your little ones: see that evil is before you!ಫರೋ ಹನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಹೇಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಲಿ. ನೋಡಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಕೇಡು ಇದೆ.

11 Not so: go now, ye [that are] men, and serve Jehovah! for it is that ye have desired. And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence.ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಈಗ ಗಂಡಸರಾದ ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಇದನ್ನೇ ನೀವು ಬಯಸಿದಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಫರೋಹನ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರದೂಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

12 And Jehovah said to Moses, Stretch out thy hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up over the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land -- all that the hail hath left.ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಮಿಡತೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಾಚು. ಅವು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹಸುರಾದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂದರೆ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯು ಉಳಿಸಿದ್ದದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಂದು ಬಿಡಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

13 And Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt, and Jehovah brought an east wind on the land all that day and all that night. When it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.ಮೋಶೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಕೋಲನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಾಚಿದಾಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಹಗಲಿರುಳೂ ಮೂಡಣಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು. ಉದ ಯವಾದಾಗ ಆ ಮೂಡಣ ಗಾಳಿಯು ಮಿಡತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿತು.

14 And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the borders of Egypt, very grievous; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them will be such.ಹೀಗೆ ಮಿಡತೆಗಳು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಂದು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೇರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹವಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡವು. ಅವು ಕ್ರೂರ ವಾದವುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಅವುಗಳಂತೆ ಹಿಂದೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅನಂತರವೂ ಇರಲಾರವು.

15 And they covered the face of the whole land, so that the land was darkened; and they ate every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees that the hail had left; and there remained not any green thing on the trees, and in the herbs of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.ಅವು ಭೂ ಮುಖವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ದೇಶವು ಕತ್ತಲಾಯಿತು. ಅವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೊಪ್ಪನ್ನೂ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯು ಉಳಿಸಿದ ಮರಗಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಫಲವನ್ನೂ ತಿಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟವು. ಮರಗಳಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಹೊಲದ ಗಿಡಗಳಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಹಸುರಾದದ್ದು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.

16 And Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against Jehovah your God, and against you.ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನು ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನರನ್ನು ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೂ ನಿಮಗೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

17 And now, forgive, I pray you, my sin only this time, and intreat Jehovah your God that he may take away from me this death only!ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಈ ಒಂದೇ ಸಾರಿ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬೇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಈ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

18 And he went out from Pharaoh, and intreated Jehovah.ಆಗ ಅವನು ಫರೋಹನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.

19 And Jehovah turned a very powerful west wind, which took away the locusts, and drove them into the Red Sea: there remained not one locust in all the borders of Egypt.ಕರ್ತನು ಮಹಾಬಲವಾದ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬೀಸಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅದು ಮಿಡತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಕೆಂಪುಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿತು. ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮೇರೆಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಂದು ಮಿಡತೆಯಾದರೂ ಉಳಿಯ ಲಿಲ್ಲ.

20 And Jehovah made Pharaoh's heart stubborn, and he did not let the children of Israel go.ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಫರೋಹನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸದೆ ಹೋದನು.

21 And Jehovah said to Moses, Stretch out thy hand toward the heavens, that there may be darkness in the land of Egypt -- so that one may feel darkness.ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕತ್ತಲೆ ಕವಿದು ಗಾಡಾಂಧಕಾರವಾಗುವಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಚಾಚು ಅಂದನು.

22 And Moses stretched out his hand toward the heavens; and there was a thick darkness throughout the land of Egypt three days:ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕೈಚಾಚಿದಾಗ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಘೋರವಾದ ಕತ್ತಲು ಕವಿಯಿತು.

23 they saw not one another, neither rose any from his place, for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಯಾರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಥಳ ವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಏಳಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರು ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಕಿತ್ತು.

24 And Pharaoh called Moses and said, Go, serve Jehovah; only, let your flocks and your herds remain; let your little ones also go with you.ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನು ಮೋಶೆಯನ್ನು ಕರೆ ಯಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕುರಿದನಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇಲ್ಲಿರಲಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋಗಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

25 And Moses said, Thou must give also sacrifices and burnt-offerings into our hands, that we may sacrifice to Jehovah our God.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.

26 Our cattle also must go with us: there shall not a hoof be left behind; for we must take thereof to serve Jehovah our God; and we do not know with what we must serve Jehovah, until we come there.ನಮ್ಮ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವೆವು. ಒಂದು ಗೊರಸೆಯಾದರೂ ಬಿಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವುಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಆರಿಸ ಬೇಕು. ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವವರೆಗೂ ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

27 But Jehovah made Pharaoh's heart stubborn, and he would not let them go.ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಫರೋಹನ ಹೃದಯ ವನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದನು.

28 And Pharaoh said to him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in the day thou seest my face thou shalt die.ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗು, ಇನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ನೋಡದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಸಾಯುವಿ ಅಂದನು.

29 And Moses said, Thou hast spoken rightly: I will see thy face again no more!ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೀ. ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
